Regarding SAP note 214604

hi all,
please let me know a small thing...i have to apply an OSS note (214604) for inbound delivery workaround. the note involves creation of some z entries in some tables and some source code modification.
Please let me know if i use SNOTE for applying the note, will it create the table entries itself or will the entries have to be created manually first and then the note be applied for source code modifications.

Please make sure the below mentioned Notes are implemented in the sequence given in order to get the changes related to Budget 2011
SAP Note 1558475- Amendments to IT calculation notified undercircular:08/2010.
SAP Note 1572614- Tax calculations inconsistent for emp. without a vaild PAN.
SAP Note 1575366- HINCALC0:Tax calculation inconsistent in case of invalid PAN.
SAP Note 1568264- Budget Changes 2011
Go through the text of the Notes for the pre-requisites and manual steps you need to perform.

INI file preference not being followed - Regarding SAP Note 1409494

Hi,
Following SAP Note 1409494, it seems like there is a preference over locations of INI files.
I have setup on my Citrix servers, the environment variable (SAPLOGON_INI_FILE) pointing to a central location of INI file.
The problem is that in the same server there is the BW logon pad that requires a different set of configurations, therefore a second INI file.
When I try to use the first option on the note (command line parameter /INI_FILE) pointing to a second INI file, it uses the one on the environment variable.
Is that the way it's supposed to work???
Is there a way to bypass this?

I guess you are talking about <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1034932">note 1034932</a>. It is currently being changed, what it will basically say is:
If you put the jars somewhere in /usr/sap and later on upgrade the engine you will actually loose the entire folder and will have to copy the jar files again.
As a permanent solution you could define an <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ee/0618d0899001408d821096c85ff8a2/frameset.htm">HTTP Alias</a> on the engine (not an application alias but an http alias) which will point to a folder on the file system outside the /usr/sap folders.
After that just set JavaGuiCodeBase for the applet to whatever you chose for the http alias name.
If you have suggestions to further improve the note, please let us know.

Doubt regarding SAP Note application

Hi,
I have found SAP note 1051619 which needs to be applied in our R/3 4.6C system.
As per the note the corrections are delivered in Basis support package SAPKB46C55.
Our Production system is at support package SAPKB46C53.
At the moment we are not in position to apply the support packages due to certain business constraints.
The note mentions of corrections that are be applied.
However, we are confused of the language used regarding the validity of the note.
The corrections mentions of,
Valid to Support Package
46C 46C-SAPKB46C54
Please advise if the corrections can be applied to our system which is at Basis support package level SAPKB46C53.

Yes, this means that you may apply this correction, if you are on 46C, and your support package is not higher than SAPKB46C54. In other words, this is from SAPKB46C01 to SAPKB46C54, and so includes your SAPKB46C53.

Regarding your query, to use the transaction SFP you have to install and configure ADS (Adobe Document Services). Can you please check whether you have done the necessary configuration or not?

We have few OSS Notes related to Archiving. Is there any thing specifically mentioned in the note about the type of implementation(Manual or Automatic). I mean ,how do we know whether a note should be implemented manually or automatically ,or both the ways.Generally if it is manual we should require an access key for manual implementation if automatic is not possible.Please correct me if i am wrong. Please suggest

Hi,
please look at the item SOLUTION in the SAP note (immediately before the header data).
There you can find all actions to do, actions before SNOTE, actions after SNOTE, ...
But there are more problems if your notes need other related notes, which will be downloaded automatically.
Look into all of them before implementing the SAP notes for manual actions!

Regarding SAP note 546256

This note implements a BADI so we can modify the log files of the SNP Opimizer.this Badi is for for adapting input log and results log of the optimizer.
When the Badi is active, a message is displayed in the input log, results log and message log.
but the above note is already implemented in our system,but user unable to change logs according to business need,?
basically this note helps to define user constraints in the log

Hello Friends,
my BW system was in SP4 so there were some NOTEs which were require to be implemented and related to SP5. so I had implemented those Notes and collected in TR, TR was in test system and now we are in SP05 so we have deleted the TR from test system buffer coz these NOTEs are not required now. now my doubt is as I had applied NOTE in development system so do i need to reset it or not, coz if I reset it then whatever the code changes done by NOTE will be removed. It may delete the code which might come with SP05(I mean, SP05 should have all the changes which we have applied when we r in SP04). so do i need to reset the NOTE or just leave it.

Hi,
This error due to that you are inserting duplicate records into DSO Key fields.
Check your record in PSA and remove duplicate reocrds from PSA and try to run transformation again or you need to change primary key of your DSO to fit PSA data.

Question regarding SAP note 765494 and Scheduling agreements

In a SAP ECC 6.0 environment has anybody dealt with note 765494? It appears that the changes allow the user to change shipping data on stock transfer scheduling purchase orders using the ME22N screen (Enjoy) but not the ME32L scheduling agreement change screen. Does anybody know of a work around to change shipping data on a stock transfer scheduling agreement?

Issues regarding SAP note 505030

We are going to have an upgrade in our system to SRM 7.0. We are
designing our scenario to have shopping carts creating purchasing
requisitions that will return to Sourcing Cockpit and become a new
shopping cart. However, we found the note 505030 that says:
If you create purchase requisitions in the R/3 system from SRM shopping
carts, then no SRM shopping cart may be created from these purchase
requisitions in the subsequent process, which in turn creates a
purchase order in the R/3 system. Even though it is technically
possible at the moment, this causes problems in the subsequent process
(goods receipt confirmation).
We have the following questions:
1) Does the problem happen only in SRM goods receipt confirmation or
also in transaction MIGO in ECC?
2) What exactly is the problem in the goods receipt confirmation? Is
there any development (BADI) that could fix it?
Has anyone implemented this scenario?

I don't have experience in implementation of this scenario but I think the problem will be now you have two SC references to follow on documents in backend and will have issue while updating backend data in SRM through get status job.

my questions are:
1. are these user exits listed above in program LV69AFZZ?
2. I set break point in these user exits, but none of them stop the process when i run t-code VA02.
i am confused here, could anyone tell me how to get into these exits when run VA02?
