Regarding SAP Web console

Hi Friends ,
I am having a requirement that i have to get the print from the webconsole .
it is a smartform .
when i call the same tcode from GUI it fires the print but when i do so
from web console it does not fires the print...while rest of the code is working well....
plz help if anybody of u have faced same problem ......

hey you need to goto the service market place and download sap gui 7.10 and install it then I hope all your problems will be solved
Goto software download-> entry by application and the find thesap gui frontend then install the software

The requirement is little confusing to me. Do you have a J2EE application running in WebSphere portal.
The question is, do you want to create users using Java UME API on web sphere portal or SAP Portal?
If is Whespere Portal, As lawrence suggested , you have to use Java UME API whith LDAP Connector object and then develop the user interface.
SAP Portal: You already have UME user interface to create users in sap portal, if this doesn't meet your requirements you can write your custom UME application to create users , since your are writing and deploying this directly in SAP Portal, sao portal has built in LDAP connection setup and you no need to create connector.

SAP web console auto login

We are beginning to implement SAP web console on SAP 4.7.
The RF guns are running Windows CE 4.2. Is it possible to get the RF guns to auto log into SAP web console?

Yes, this can be done by setting up the Parameter(Command Line Parameters) in your WebSAPConsole URL Login.Pl refer to the Appendix A section in the WebSAPConsole user guide.

SAP WEB Console - performace

Hi, we are using custom developed transaction for TO confirmation. It is not to complicated, it has one fanction call and one batch-input. When we use it over standard workstation it runs normal(1 sec per TO for confiramtion), but when we run it over RF (Falcon terminals with Windows Mobile, AP conected to SAP server with 11MBit speed) it runs signifacatly slower. What could be reason? How can we test speed for something like that, some kind of trace?

I am trying to configure MAM 2.5 with MI 2.5, under SAP Web AS 7.0. Still I am not successful.
Important thing is, I am not able to access 'Web Console' at all in SAP Web AS 7.0 but I have seen the samething in SAP Web AS 6.4 environment.
My understanding is:
To use Java/J2EE Sync servlet method we need 'WebConsole'.
To use ABAP Sync, we can can use NetWeaver Administrator->Mobile Infrastructure.
As I am not getting Web Console, I am forced to use NWA->Mobile Infrastructure. I am not sure howfar this ABAB Sync would be successful.
My question is:
Are you able to get 'web console' in your SAP Web AS 7.0 Environment. I am thinking 'web console' became obsolete in 7.0 Application Server environment onwards.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

By saying you are not able to access the above link, does it mean that the login page is displayed and when you enter your middleware details, you are not able to login? If this is the case, i suggest you check the following.
First and more most, the user who wishes to access the Web Console should have <b>S_TCODE</b> authorization in the middleware. Secondly please check if the system details provided in the Login page is correct i.e the exact System No., the Client and so on.

Calling SAP Web Service from BPEL

I am trying to call a SAP Web Service friom BPEL using the SAP WSDL.It requires a basic authentication (Username/Password) which i am providing as partnerlink properties in bpel.xml.
While testing the BPEL Process from the console, it is giving me an error
"<summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 401 Unauthorized</summary>"
But when i am testing it from SOAP UI tool it is giving me the desired response.
Does anyone has any idea why it is failing from BPEL?Is there any configuration which i am missing?

I am stuck at the same situation, trying to invoke a secured SAP webservice. The invoke fails with a security previlege exception.
Am using the basicHeaders property to propagate the credentials to the SAP system.
Can you please suggest on the same.

SAP Management Console as part of Netweaver 7.0

Hi Colleagues,
We are running SAP Netweaver 7.0 with Unix and we have detected that
we have a security issue if we leave open the connection to the SAP
Management Console via web (http://<host>:5<instNum>13).
I have been looking for an alternative to disable the access to the
SAP MC via web without having to close the port 50013, but I havent
found any alternative for that.
Could you please advise me if it is posible to stop the SAP MC or to
disable this application via web?

Being a newbie to SAP WebAs i'm seeking some help from this forum for the issue which's driving me crazy. I'm trying to configure a Oracle data source to access a local oracle database on a WebAs server hosted part of EP6.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I can give you some basic suggestions about what you could do.
First of all, check if there are more detailed error messages available in the defaultTrace.trc file. You can open the file using LogViewer service in Visual Administrator.
Also, check the settings for Database URL, and make sure you have set the SQL Engine option in the Additional tab to "Native SQL".

Web Console has no profile definition

Dear Gurus
I've installed the Web Console. Configure the profile at SAP Console Adminstator. From URL, I can access the SAP system. When I sign on to SAP , I'm getting the following error:

I had this problem also. For me it worked to log on to the SLD and then I was able to log on to the other applications like Useradmin and NWA.
The SLD is usually available at <a href="http://localhost:50000/sld">http://localhost:50000/sld</a>.

Unable to Login to Middleware (Web Console)

Hi all,
I am able to login to the back-end SAP-Gui as well as synchonise with MI client with the created User ID and password having all appropriate authorizations.
But unfortunately i am unable to login to the web console through this user ID and password, it gives the error message "User name or password incorrect".
Kindly help me out.
