Regarding sending mails to group of users from ABAP program

Hi,
I have a program which sends Email's to group of users.
And code for that purpose is written as below.
<b>* Insert distribution list name into i_send
i_send-receiver = 'TEST-DIST'. "Distribution List</b>
Can anybody tell me where the mail id's[Group of] will be given for this purpose.
TEST-DIST will be having set of mail id's where does i can see them and change.
If anybody knows please post!

See function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1, there is an example in the documentation. The example is for a .BMP file but you should be able to use the similar code for a text file (you might need to use object RAW). The content of comma-separated file must be in an internal table when you'll call this function module.
There are also lots of examples available all over the Internet, use search by FM name.

           can we send IDOC ( of type MATMAS) form ABAP Program. if it possible how can we send, are there any function modules to do so....could any one tell me the procedure to accomplish the task...i have finished the configuration sting in both reciver and sender systems....just need to send material in form of IDOC from abap program.

Has anyone found a solution to sending mail to groups in Mavericks? I've been given 2 approaches - 1 to type user name group into address and the other to go to address book and right click on group. Neither are satisfactory. Does anyone have a solution?

Sending Mail with attachment like User Decision

Hi,
Is there any way to send the document attached with the send mail step ? In User Decision, we can use binding between the workflow and task and document is attached. Like wise, is there any method ??
I know we can send the attachment using the FM SO_****. So don give that answers. I want to know without using the FM, is it possible or not ?
And i don want to use BO SOFM.
For example, in Project Definition, one person creates a milestone. WF is triggered and goes for attachment of concorrence note. One attaches the concorrence note and mail is send to initiator. In that mail, can he able to see the attachment ??

As far as I know the answer is "probably". You aren't saying how the mail is sent to initiator, you just say you don't want to use the FM or the BOR object type SOFM. I assume you are using the standard sendmail step type, i.e. BOR object type SELFITEM with method SendTaskDescription.
As I am sure you can imagine, an attachment doesn't magically appear. If you send a workflow step (task) to someone, you can bind attachments to make them available in work item display. If you send a message you can construct it with attachments, but that doesn't happen without any effort. If you look at the parameters for SendTaskDescription you will see that there is a parameter for attachments. Try passing (binding) a value to it. If your SendMail task doesn't include that parameter as importing parameter you will of course have to fix your task (TS object) first.

Note: my production already have some other projects related groups and Unix.. and when I say migrate, i just want to add the groups from qa to append or add to production with exsiting setup and not to overwrite..

Use the migration wizard and set it to merge, the deltas should be added ok and anything that exists in both systems should get a number added at the end.

I would like to know what are settings to be done in the system to send an SMS from ABAP program using FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.I was trying to send SMS using above FM but the error was "Cannot process message, no route from <userid> to <Mobile.no> ".
Pls let me know the pre requisites to send an SMS using above FM.
