Urgent Querry regarding SRM to R/3 PO Creation

Hi All,
I have one requirement where in PO is created in SRM (using Extended Classic Scenario) and the same PO is reflected in R/3 thru RFC.
My requirement is related to pricing i have maintained a condition record for a condition type for eg : ZBRK is the condition type. In R/3 for condition type ZBRK i have maintained condition record. I need to populate the condition record when PO from SRM gets created in R/3.
Is it possible?

You can try to use BBPECS_PO_OUT_BADI to transfer this condition type to ECC.However, please check that the condition type from SRM do not apply again in ECC else your original price will be recalculated twice both in SRM and ECC..._
Using VMC cache when you modify the PO price schema.
Thus, you have to reset the buffer of the VMC to "activate" your modifications.

PM Querry regarding old materials

hi everybody
i have a querry regarding how old items are handled in PM . example in our old company we use to maintain a scrap ledger where we use to account our old items (materials/complete eqpts while replacing with new eqpts) etc we use to take into account as iron/copper/brass scrap etc and once they reach a certain level in scrap store we use to go for auction.
How is this part handled in PM?

I would recommend Create a New material Type , Once the Item becomes old Transfer all the Inventory to new material type. This way you can manage the Inventory for both the new and old and new materials.Once your old materials reaches certain Inventory , that material can be sold of and the revenues can be credited to Inventory.

Regarding SRM UI

Hi All,
We have created a custom transcation for the bid approvals
In this T-code when we do a BID approval this will give us a POP_UP for confirmation before proceeding further.
The function module we used to get the POP UP us
POPUP_TO_CONFIRM.
The problem is with SRM UI when we click the approve Button we are getting the POPUP with the required buttons but the text is not displayed on the UI Screen
When we do a test in SRM system it is showing the POPUP with the required text and buttons.
So any one can guide me how to rectify this error which come up only in SRM UI do i need to do any thing more in the T-code.

Regarding srm badis

Hi all,
my problem is when shopping cart is created, an RFC call is made to ECC5 to from SRM to determine the release strategies and agents, to do this do i need to implement the badi bbp_doc_save_badi or bbp_wfl_approv_badi.
when i have to use the badi bbp_wfl_approv_badi.

Hi,
If you are using the n step approval workflow (header level) i.e. WS14000133for Shopping cart approval,then you need to write the code in the badi BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI to determine the agents.In this BADI,you can then make the call to ECC system to fetch the approvers users based on the release startegy.All this logic needs to be written in the Badi.

Error When Create Shopping Cart from catalog SRM

Hi all,
Currently, I have problem need your help.
I tried to create an shopping cart from catalog. But I don't know how the G_L_ACCT was lost.
The information about account like this:
Now, I want to know where this data is selected. Would you please help me for this issue.
Extra Information: Acc_cat = 'A'.

Dear Melynessa: normally you should not get this error message when flagging "Order as Direct Material" in SRM 7.0.
Please, check in your backend ECC6 if "Value updating" flag has been selected or not for the material type of your SC material ID under the IMG path "Logistic - General --> Material Master --> Basic Settings --> Materual Types --> Define Attributes of Material Types"
If field "Value updating" for material type is not flagged then, when creating a PReq or PO in SAP ECC6, you will get always an error message asking you for an account assignment.
Due to the circumstance above, in SRM, materials ID belonging to non-valuated material types should not be ordered as direct (flag order as direct is available always when you enter a material ID, even when it is non-valuated). If you flag the field "Order as Direct" for a non-valuated material, standard SRM system doesn't issue any error message. So, maybe, there is BAdi in your SRM system checking the "Value updating" for material type and avoiding "Order as Direct Material" flag being selected when it is a non-valuated material

Hi All
i have read many SAP Press books and materials but no where officially mentioned INFORECORD as source of supply but we could use INFORECORD as source of supply in the classic. Why SAP did not agree inforecord is a valid source of supply in any of the officical books.What could have stopped to write this point.Dfinetly some good meaning is there. Why SAP SRM definitions are missing.

It's a good question. Indeed, I also couldn't find any documentation in the SAPhelp about the inforecord.
