Regarding TC TRIP

hi experts,
i have to add one more field in the
TC TRIP in that field whenever emplyee
create the trip then a popup will
come out and employee can enter yes or
no in that popup how to do that plz help me to sort
out this.............
if pop up is not possible then can i add field or checkbox etc...

I use column 2 reguraly to create a second (horizontal) region.
where in the apex architecture is the position of this second column regions determined?
I notice that this second region on large screens is postiioned extremely to the right leaving a huge amount of withe space between region 1 (column 1) and region 2 (column 2)
Both regions are in the body

Both regions are in the body"column 2" indicates that this is done using an HTML table. It's likely that the horizontal expansion is caused by the use of HTML <tt>width</tt> attributes or CSS <tt>width</tt> properties in theme HTML or CSS.
As always with any layout/visual appearance problem you MUST reproduce the problem on apex.oracle.com or provide full details in order for anyone to understand, replicate and troubleshoot it:

Maximum Advance Amount

Dear All,
Pleae let me know how to restrict the advance amount to a particular maximu amount. For Ex: The advance amount for overseas should be at maximum 600 USD, The system should throw a warning message if the advance amount entered exceeds this maximum limit.
I have maintained expense type VORK and VORS in table V_T706B1_A and V_T706B4_A and assigned it to wage types MJ90 and MJ95 respectively
If i try maintaining in Travel Expenses->Master Data->Travel Expense Types->Define Maximum Rates and Default Values for Expense Types.. It is no taking the expense types VORK and VORS which are the standard expense type for advance.

By default the photos will be sorted by the date modified.
iOS: Understanding photo sorting
Edit (touch) them in the order you want them to be shown.

Regarding triggering of TRIP workflow.....................

hi friends,
we have implemented ESS for employee subgroup "executive and above" in our compnay no doubt whenever the user creating trip request through ESS my trip customized trip workflow is getting triggered.
but for workers when ever my travel administrator creating trip request through TC-TRIP then in this scenario the workflow is also getting triggered.
means i want to know how can we restrict that when ever trip request is creating through TC - TRIP the workflow must not be triggered it should triggere if and only the trip request creating through ESS only

This cannot be achieved. Since tirgger event travelreqeuset event calls in both the cases. You cannot avoid triggering whenever the travelrequested from the t-code. One way you can try, in the triggering the event check wheather sy-tcode is trip in that case exit the workflow in your design else continue. Write to logic to get the t-code data in your attribute .

Click on GET_INSTANCE method.
Put Break point at CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface
Now go to Trip Transaction then you will able to find set of EXIT names.

Is there a major flaw with Iphoto in regards to organizing and backing up?

Is there a major flaw with Iphoto in regards to organizing and backing up? And how should I proceed??
Here is my story. I have moved roughly 15,000 photos from 7 computers (4 PCs and 3 Macs - basically everyone's computer in the family) onto one external hard drive. The photos were taken by many different digital cameras, are sparsely labeled, and have the most random names and folders. There are a LOT of duplicates. MY MISSION - label and back them up.
The way I normally deal with photos/DATA is this: I plug my camera into my Mac and immediately think about organizing and backing them up. With "Preview" I look at photos (and decide which one I like), create a folder called "where-ever I took these photos" and drag them into that folder. The problem with Iphoto is that you have no ability to control folders, unlike many other applications.
For example, in Itunes you can rename an artist, or even an album, and it will automatically appear in an updated folder. If you alter a photo in Photoshop, it makes you save it is a new file. In Iphoto you cannot make the same "root level" changes without making duplicates. From what I understand, you can place photos into an Album and then export that album (which makes duplicates). Iphoto will rename each duplicate file and then place it in the correct folder. The problem here is I have no idea where the original is to delete it.
Basically I want to create folders called "Trip to Italy 2003" or "Rachel's Wedding" and place all the photos associated with that event in those folders. The problem I run into is that I have a bunch of duplicates. I have heard of a program called Duplicate Annihilator which has gotten favorable reviews. If I import them into Iphoto all the photos are placed in random named folders. I say random because some of the photos were taken on cameras that didn't have the date set correctly. Hence some of my photos will appear in a labyrinth of folders called "Modified / 2001 / Roll 17 / DCM482 / Image25874654.jpg"
I am totally willing to wipe my Iphoto library clean and start again if there is a way to organize the photos as described above. Eventually I will take these folders and save them on a data DVD.

You do not need to delve into the folders within the iPhoto Library via the finder to access any photo. That is all done within iPhoto itself. If you need a photo for use outside of iPhoto read Terence Devlin's treatise on file access. iPhoto is a DAM application - Digital Asset Management, not a folder manager. There's a big difference. You can use keywords, album and smart albums to organize your photos.
If you still have the original files you might consider what I do. I rename each file with the date it was taken using the international date format: YYYY-MM-DD-001.jpg. You can download the demo version ofMedia Expression and automatically rename each folder of photos with the EXIF date and a sequential number. This makes chronological searching and sorting much easier both in iPhoto and the Finder.
If you want to not only manage the photos but the folders then Expression Media will let you do both. It will let you rename files after being imported into a catalog, move them between folders, add ITPC metadata to the files, create virtual albums called Supplemental categories, and much, much more. I use it as my primary DAM and iPhoto for special projects like books, slideshows, calendars, etc.

Question regarding homehub and Open reach router -...

I had infinity installed earlier this month and am happy with it so far. I do have a few questions regarding the service and hardware though.
I run both my BT openreach router and BT Home hub from the same power socket. The problem is, if I turn the plug on so both the Homehub and Openreach Router start up at the same time, the home hub will never get an Internet connection from the router. To solve this I have to turn the BT home hub on first and leave it for a minute, then start the router up and it all works fine. I'm just curious if this is the norm or do I have some faulty hardware?
Secondly, I appreciate the estimated speed BT quote isn't always accurate, I was quoted 49mbits down but received 38mbits down - Which I was happy with. Recently though it has dropped to 30. I am worried this might continue to drop over time. and as of present I am 20mbits down on the estimate . For the record 30mbits is actually fine and probably more than I would ever need. If I could boost it some how though I would be interested to hear from you.

Just a clarification: the two boxes are the HomeHub (router, black) and the modem (white). The HomeHub has its own power switch, the modem doesn't.
There is something wrong if the HomeHub needs to be turned on before the modem. As others have said, in general best to leave the modem on all the time. You should be able to connect them up in any order, or together. (For example, I recently tripped the mains cutout, and when I restored power the modem and HomeHub went on together and everything was ok).
Check if the router can connect/disconnect from the broadband using the web interface. Leaving the modem and HomeHub on all the time, go to http://192.168.1.254/ on a browser on a connected computer, and see whether the Connect/Disconnect button works.

How to track the Posting run number for a TRIP?

I have one my users who has settled & posted the trip. But she does not know the Posting run number. Is there any way / SAP Standard report with which we can track the Posting Run number in whcih the specific trip has been included and posted to Finance?

PTRV_PERIO Period Data of a Trip & revert back.

Pictures round-tripped to Elements are correct in Browser but not in Viewer

Hi all,
This is a bit weird. When I edit a photo in Photoshop Elements 10 (and then "save" and thereby send it back to Aperture), the edited photo shows up correctly edited in the Aperture browser, but it's uncorrected in the viewer. I always use the "Split View," and so the corrected photo appears among the thumbnails, but when I click on it, the photo in the viewer doesn't have the PSE corrections! Weird. This worked well for many many months, but now doesn't seem to work. If I close out of Aperture and come back in, the photos are correct in the viewer and the browser. Any ideas? (These are correctly saved -- not "saved as" -- in Photoshop. And it worked well for months. No need to discuss saving and round-tripping.) Thank you!

Printing TRIP data

Dear Friends,
   With PERNR (personnel no.) and REINR (Trip No.), i'm trying to print ABAP report using FM 'FITP_SEND_REQUEST' to print TRIP transaction data.
   The importing tables data need to be filled up in the FM. For filling data I tried using following FMs':
   a. BAPI_TRIP_GET_DETAILS
   b. HRTV_IF_GET_TRIP
   c. FITP_REQUEST_TABLES_READ
   d. GET_TRIP_REMARKS
   e. GET_TRIP_SCHEMA
   But none of them satisfy the importing ITABs. Could anybody have got some ideas?

Can I use the same trip number for several travelers?

Hi everybody.
This is my question... We need (in travel expenses) to use any field in order to group (add) several trips made for several travelers (in same dates).
Expl: several travelers made the same trip (with different receipts and costs). We need to create a "supra-level" group (which could help our user to summarize, authorize, etc).
I have made some tests changing the trip number assignment (in trip schema) to external one. The system seems not to have any problem if I assign the same trip number to several travelers (please, could you tell me if this is correct?).
I´m not sure this could be the best solution, because I have one question... If I have travel request and travel expenses... can I assign external range numbers to the travel request? (how can I do it?).
Please, could you tell me something about this? (if this is not correct, could you tell me if it´s possible to create a new field to do this?)

Hi,
As mentionned in an earlier response, you cannot assign the same trip number to multiple employees.
If you are looking to group together similar claims based on the type of travel which was done, you can always use any of the following fields which can be made 'available' on the entry screen. That is the 'Activity Type' or the 'Trip Type Specific' or the 'Trip Type Enterprise'. By creating categories of types of travel, you can then use these values as selection parameters in your reports to isolate specific costs related to specific activities.
For example, you know that many employees will be traveling for a specific conference and you want to be able to report on the total cost of that conference, you could create an Activity Type and ask employees to complete the field with the appropriate value when completing the claim. Then you could create a report on that Activity Type only.
Another option would be to use Internal Orders. Create an internal order, have the employees assign their costs to the IO and then run a CO - IO report.
Depending on how 'permanent' your employee groupings are, you could also use some fields on Infotype 17 to assign different employees to different employee groupings. These employee grouping values are also available as selection parameters in the reports and can allow you to isolate groupings of individuals.
It all depends where you want to create the grouping....

have you try to increase number of hits to show the list?!
while accessing F4 for getting the list of region, click on yellow pale line that has triangle in the middle,
and increase the max hits.
you will get more region that you define in IMG Customizing.

Really sorry to hear about this, particularly when you're putting your life on the line. But Apple cannot track your iPhone in any way unless you had set up Find My iPhone prior to it being lifted.
It's possible that AT&T might be able to do something, but it's probably that they cannot track it, or will not without a request from an authorized law enforcement agency, but rather would only disable the device. You'll have to try and find a way to contact AT&T directly and ask if they can do anything to help you; the chances of any AT&T employee in a position to help you spotting this thread it pretty small.
