Regarding the creation of dynamic view by clicking on a tree.

      There are two parts on the window. the left part is a tree with three tree nodes, by clicking on tree nodes, the other is an area to show the business content.
     for example, three tree nodes are respectively "input customer infor", "change customer infor", "view customer infor".
    the initial view is input customer infor, I know how to create the view initially in method init or wddomodifyview, but when I click tree node like "change customer infor", how create the view , or how to refresh the view , that is to say, to delete old elements in the view of " input customer infor".
    can you please give me a hint?

Hello,
be wary of always creating the view and then just assigning the visbility of the given view container. Although this is quite simple, it means that the WD events are still called for the view - especially where tree might be built, the associated logic could be quite intensive. It is better to only call this logic when needed.
Embedding the views in a single view container - and dynamically switching the assignment would ensure only the selected view would be called.
I would strongly advocate the FPM to do some of this - but unfortunately it doesn't (yet) have a layout that would easily support your two pane view (if you really need this). However it does have a guided activity floorplane (GAF) which is the standard for this sort of select, edit, save, confirm sort of work - if you want your users to have a similar experience to the rest of SAP's delivered apps, it would certainly be worth considering.

In My Application i have a table with multiple rows(Rows are Dynamically added to the table).First i am setting the table with the following properties:

height : auto,
Overflow : visible,
Max-height: : 200px.
If I use above properties,I'm getting a table with 5 or 6 rows(height upto 200px).After that i am getting the Vertical ScrollBar.
The problem is when a table has many columns, Vertical and Horizontal Scrolls are coming at the time of setting the table. The table height is not Increasing dynamically.
How can i use "height" property in CSS? (I want the table height to be increased when the columns are more.)

Question regarding the creation of a custom dynamic stamp using "Will Print" from "Set Doc. Actions

Hi all,
Using Acrobat 9.0 Professional, I have successfully created a dynamic stamp using the forums where I have added Login / Date to my own image and it works great as designed. However, the problem I am having is that when a document is stamped it becomes flat and doesn't update dynamically which does not work for my requirements.
I need to create a pdf that is stamped by myself so that other users (using only Reader) can open the pdf and when printed the stamp will print with the correct date/time (in the format I describe below).
I found a workaround (outside of a stamp) where I added a text box (called "Today") that updates everytime the document is printed by going to
Advanced / Document Processing / Set Document Actions / Document Will Print
and adding the following Java Code:

This provides me with the unique number that I need for printing (ie: 20100317102030). It works great as an inserted text field on my pdf.
My problem is that when I use the "create custom stamp" as in other tutorials by inserting this new text field, it will not update (or display) on print, even though it was set the exact same way as the custom stamp I got working using the Adobe dynamic stamp information.
Can you offer any advice on how I can get this to work as a custom stamp? I would rather not have to create both a stamp and then overlay the text field manually as I have hundreds of documents (maybe more) to do this for.
Also, as an aside, if I could get this to work, I would also like to add Login ID that updates in the same manner as my custom date format (but one problem at a time I guess! )

I really wish Adobe had a Custom Stamp creator as part of their program, with the dynamic option. It would be so easy for them and save a lot of users so much time.

Stamps are just like a inked rubber stamp, except in Acrobat you can suppress printing them and you can move them. So if you use a dated "Faxed" stamp when you fax a document, even though you can adjust the stamp before affixing the stamp, once the document is stamped the date on the document can not be changed or moved. It appears, that the use of a stamp might not be the best solution.
"Interactive" means Acrobat JavaScript programing.
With JavaScript not only can you insert variable data but also fixed text strings or a combination of both.
So your script could be updated to something like:

Getting the 'login name" will require some special JavaScript code being added to an application level JavaScript folder that runs upon initialization and is the data or function created is then accessed by your PDF. This file will need to be installed on each user's system.

I would like to modify it and I deleted the Virtual Interface and the webservice definition.
After building the EJB module and EAR module, I cannot create the Webservice and the Virtual Interface.

● Web Service Developer
The Web service developer defines the Web service at design time. He or she knows the application logic as well as the resulting conditions for the communication type (for example, stateless/stateful), and the required security level. He or she defines these properties at an abstract level. Specific details, such as the transport binding or security concept to be used, are defined only later during the Web service configuration.
● Web Service Configurator
The Web service configurator defines the behavior of the Web service at runtime. He or she knows the system landscape and the technical requirements of the application server where the Web service is to be called. On the basis of the abstract definition of the Web service, the configurator can decide during configuration which specific attributes should be assigned to the features defined at design time.
Prerequisites
To create or consume Web services, you need the authorizations associated with the role SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN. You must add the authorization S_ICF_ADMIN (authorization for the Internet Communication Framework) to your profile. You use the authorization S_SERVICE for starting external services.

I have given all the necessary parameters. it is telling that error is in parameter

I need to create a new Jar file which consists of the generic code which we can use for connecting to the database. The class in the jar file should have methods like u201CExecuteSelectu201D. u201CExecuteInsertu201D, u201CExecuteDeleteu201D and u201CExecuteUpdateu201D. which should pass the required parameters to these methods so that they can execute the corresponding query. My UDF should use this class file and call the methods above to run any SQL statements.
any one having any idea about how to create the above requirements .....?

For developing your requirement, you can use Eclipse or any other IDE which is supported for writing Java codes. Write the codes of your requirement in IDE and compile it. Make a .jar file of classes. and then create a new Imported archive and upload your .jar file. Then relevent class has to be declared in the import statement. This way you can use your all classes in UDF.

Regarding the creation of regions

What is the fastest way to cut snippets from one audio region, move them to another audio track, then create a new region that only contains the data I moved to the new track (not also the data from the original track where I would just want space to appear in the region). Every time I try to do this by using the "merge" function I get the data from the original and new tracks included in the new region. Is there a one-step or two-step method to accomplish this. If not, how do I do it anyway?

Hey humble user. Errr I'm trying to understand what ur trying to do. U want to create a section of a region destructively from an existing region right? If so select the option convert to new region (opt-comm-R or selecting it by right clicking). Check your audio bin to make sure. Whats the "merge" function? Are u refering to the glue tool?

Dynamic view size

Hi,
is there a possibility in Web Dynpro to change the size of a view dynamically by the mouse?
I have two views and it should be possible to shift the border between them like in normal window-applications (e.g. outlook).
Or is there a possibility to develop a layout for the portal where this is possible?
I would be happy if someone can give me an advise or a link.

Creation of materialized view

Hi All,
We had created some other materialized view with for small set of data. The materialized view name is ‘XXCA_PAGL_RECON_GL1_TRANS_MV’ and it has created a table with the same name.
What I am unable to understand is that the new table which was created by the system during the creation of materialized view is in VALID state but the materialized view is in INVALID state.
Please help me to understand this process.

The column dba_objects.status for mviews is set to INVALID when the base tables are updated. See Metalink note 454552.1. It is normal.

I set out to change the page name ready to publish on my hosts server after Having used a temp. name, simple so the " Expression web user guide says" I have not been able to find the "Folder List panel" of The folders view of the site,
I have just completed an hour methodically searching for the two files listed, I would be most grateful for some simple instructions on how to find the entities listed in the Title above, which I cut and pasted to make sure that I got it right.

If you are in the standard configuration, click "Site|Open Site," then browse to and open your site. With an open site, you will see a tab at the top labeled "Site View." Another tab at the bottom will be labeled "Folders,"
because you are then in Folders view of the site (recognize that terminology?). At the same time, unless you have your panels hidden, in the upper left side you will see a panel labeled "Folders List." If you do not see this panel, click "Panels|Reset

fcx4 bin clips are not appearing in the viewer after clicking on them , i need help getting them to appear in the viewer.

I have the same issue. I am using apex.oracle.com for some test applications, but for last couple of weeks when I login and click the "Application builder" I could not see my applications there (around 4-5 of them)! It says No applications found.
Neither I have any application groups setup nor do any criteria given in "Application" search field under "Application builder".
The only way I could access some, if not all, of my applications is to pull it from the link under the context box "Recent" (which you can see in the right hand side of the "Application builder" page.)
Any help is greatly appreciated. This issue is not a show stopper as I could still pull out my critical applications from the recent link, but its definitely a worrisome issue.

Dynamic view creation in Flex

I am new to Flex web applications and I am doing research to see if functionality
contained in an existing web application can be replicated in a Flex web app.
We currently have a JSP / Struts based web application that creates a data entry
web view dynamically based on information that describes the different widgets and
their view locations as recieved from the application backend. We are looking at
migrating this application and this functionality to Flex.
When User X selects 1 of any number of data entry views, the Flex application would
receive data from the back end that contains information describing the different widgets
to display on the dynamic view: what type of widget to display ( text field,combo, line,
box, etc), the pixel specific positional information as to where each widget exists in the
view. These data entry views are not something the Flex developer designs or knows
what to expect from the backend. Flex has to generate the view on the fly based on the
information that describes the view.
The question: I fully expect there to be coding within the action scripts; before trying to
learn how to do this, is this something that Flex support.

Yep, we do something similar. We had to build out the infrastructure, but It works fine. E.g.,

In your app, the actual description (XML or other format) would be coming from the server. Then you just add it to the display list (and wire in any event handlers if necessary). In a real setting, you'll need error checking and a more formalized way of doing this, but it works reasonably well. No major snags.

Dynamically change the Binding of a view object

I want to reuse a panel several times in my application. The VO has one bind parameter (:1). The same panel should be reused several times with different bind variables.
I found a technical note concerning this issue called: How to Dynamically Change the binding of a View Object to a JClient Panel. This works for JDeveloper 9i but not for JDeveloper 19g. Does anybody know how to dynamically change the binding in JDeveloper 10g

You may use bindRowSetIterator() and pass in a custom fetched ViewObject or a RowSetIterator to the iterator binding that is displayed in your panel.

Regarding the creation of dynamic view by clicking on a tree.
