REGARDING THE PRODUCTION  PLANNING FLOW  IN IMPLEMENTATION

HI,
PLS TELL ME THE PROCESS OF PRODUCTION PLANNING
FROM RAWMATERIAL TO FINISHED PRODUCT ( FROM ONE
END TO END IN IMPLEMENTATION )
REGARDS & THANKS IN ADVANCE,
MURALIDHAR

Hi,
Assume FERT below HALB below ROH.
1. Create a demand in MD61 for FERT material.
2. Run MRP by MD02.
3. Check the stock evaluation by MD04. System will generate planned order for req. Convert the planned order to prod order by double clicking planned order.
4. Same will apply for HALB also.
5. For ROH, system will create pur requisition, check in MD04.
6. Convert this Pur.Req into P.O. Do goods receipt against this P.O by MIGO.
7. Stock will increase for ROH. check the stock in MMBE.
8. Issue the ROH material  against HALB prod order by MB1A 261 mvt.
9. Confirm the prod order by CO15. Do goods receipt by MB31 101 mvt.
10. Same is applicable for FERT material also.
11. Check the the stock in MMBE.

  • Regarding the production plan

    hi gurus,
when we define a plan in ASCP there are Manufacturing plan, Distribution plan and production plan. When we define a production plan, then this plan will be for the high level item i.e. nothing but the end items or the FG items. If this is a production plan then only those items which are defined as MPS / MPP will be used in this plan.
so for a manufacturing ASCP plan how can we use the production schedule as a demand, as per the oracle concepts we have learnt that the output of a production plan can be used as an input for the manufacturing plan.
so where do we input that output of the production plan as an input in the plan options of the manufacturing plan that i define.....
    thanks & regards

You have to maintain two plans
    1. One is the production plan which has its own inputs for demand ( forecast or MDS etc)
    2. Second is Manufacturing plan where in plan options .. you have to assign your production plan from setp 1 as input to this plan ( as demand schedule)

  • Implementation of exit APOCDPS1in the Production Planning Run

    Hi Folks,
I am trying to implement the exit APOCDPS1 in the Production Planning Run transaction /n/sapapo/cdpsb0.
Can anyone throw some light on the implementation methodology ?
Further Inorder to use the exit in the production planning run , i need to select an option " Planning Object = 5 Copy objects from Customer Exit APOCDPS1". And then I need to select "Selection ID". Where can I configure this selection ID ? Should I need to build this in the exit?
    Thanks for your support.
    Best Regards
    Yoge

    Hi Yogeswaran,
Kindly contact your ABAP consultant for implementing the said user exit. This user exit is called when production planning run is executed.
The selection ID needs to be mentioned in the code. And here for particular selection ID you can write specific selection criteria. For example, we wanted to select orders of particular date which is not possible in standard selection.
    Best regards,
    Vaibhav

    John,
I'd pay good money to bet it wouldn't last 5 years... I don't rate the in built power supply and as for "server grade hard disk" - Hmmmm..... The failure rate of all HD's on the market after 3 year is 60%.

    Hi Marcelo,
Yes, there are some requirements for certificates in Expressway.
    Expressway Core (Exp-C)
    - Can be signed by either External or Internal CA
    - Better to use a cluster name even if you start with 1 peer in Exp-C cluster. In the future, if more peers are added, changes would be minimal.
    - Better to use FQDN of cluster as CN of certificate, this way the traversal zone configuration on Expressway-E won't require any change even if new peers are added to Exp-C cluster.
    - If CUCM is mixed mode, include security profile names (in FQDN format) as Subject Alternate Names
    - The Chat Node Aliases that are configured on the IM and Presence servers. They will be required only for Unified Communications XMPP federation deployments that intend to use both TLS and group chat. (Note that Unified Communications XMPP federation will be supported in a future Expressway release). The Expressway-C automatically includes the chat node aliases in the CSR, providing it has discovered a set of IM&P servers.
    - For TLS b/w CUCM, IM-P & Exp-C
+ If using self-signed certificates on CUCM, IM/P. Load Cisco Tomcat, cup, cup-xmpp certificates from IM-P on Exp-C. Load callmanager, Cisco Tomcat certificates from CUCM on Exp-C.
+ If using Internal CA signed certificates on CUCM, IM/P. Load Root CA certificates on Exp-C.
      + Load CA certificate under tomcat-trust, cup-trust, cup-xmpp-trust on IM-P.
+ Load CA certificate under tomcat-trust, callmanager-trust on CUCM.
    Expressway Edge (Exp-E)
    - Signed by External CA
    - Configured Unified Communications domain as Subject Alternate Name
    - If using a cluster, select FQDN of this peer as CN and FQDN of Cluster + this peer as Subject Alternate Name.
    - If XMPP federation is being deployed, enter the same Chat Node Aliases as entered in Exp-C.

  • Segregation of testing and the production environments- Oracle EBS implementation project

I am currently auditing a oracle EBS implementation and I need to test the segregation of testing and the production environments, How can I approach that ?

In Oracle EBS environments TEST and PRODUCTION are different systems altogether, you can say two entities which are identical in features/data but physically different. So you may have to test on below
1.) DB level passwords (different in both instances) and are following the statndard corporate policies.
2.) Unwanted application users are end-dated in TEST instances.
3.) Data is masked appropriately in TEST instances.

  • Satellite Pro A300-13X: Question regarding the Product Recovery disks

I recently purchased a Satellite Pro A300-13X notebook with Vista Business installed.
It came with two product recovery discs to install XP professional.
Since I decided just to use XP, I followed the procedure for product recovery and I am now running XP from the first disc. It seems to run properly.
I'm unable to install the second disc and wonder where it is for. It contains 7 application files 001-002-003-004 crc and tpa.
Does anyone know what to do with this disk?

Don't know what this disc contains or how to install it, but check if everything works and if all utilities and programs are installed, which you had under Windows Vista.

  • Exclude stock at a storage location from the Productionn Planning run

    Hi,
We have to exclude a storage location from the Production Planning run. We already implemented a user exit in CIF and changed the stock at the storage location to a category Z1 that is not relavant to SAP, but the stock at the location is still being consitered for production planning.
Please suggest a way so that it is excluded from the Production planning
    Regards,
    Sireesh

    Hi Sireesh,
    Please try these following options.
    1) Filter this storage location in the programme /SAPAPO/RMSDPDEP by writing customised code with an abapper, so that it will drops the storage location stocks not getting planned during deployment
    2) Try anyof these user exists
APOBP011 Enhancement for Stock BAPIs (BUS10504)
    APOCF011 Inbound Processing: Stock
    APOCF027 Customer-Specific Enhancements: Stock
    3) Exclude the category from the ATD receipts category group maintained in the master data

    Hi
PO status is stored in Structure not in the table.
Please use the List displays to get the information like ME2N,ME2L, ME2M, ME2K etc

  • CIF - PurchOrder to SCM - how will PO be displayed in the Product View

    Hello,
I am just wondering how a purchase order from R/3 (material is purchased from an external vendor) for a specific plant is shown in APOs Product View:
    1. New Purchase Order  - PchOrd
    2. Purchase Order in R/3 with an order confirmation (AB category) - POMemo????
    3. Purchase Oder in R/3 with a shipment notification (LA category) - POMemo
Why is the category within APO already a POMemo even so we only have a order confirmation?
    Thanks.
    Kind regards,
    Andrea

    Hi Sandeep,
    Please use BADI :/SAPAPO/PPT_SELECT
Restriction of the selection in the product planning tab.
/SAPAPO/PPT_SELRES:Adjustment of Selection in the Product Planning Table
Also for scheduling planning board you can use  customer exit APOCDPS8 to  select object according to customer-specific criteria.

  • Production process flow

    Hi all,
Below is the list of doubt.
1.can any one sent me the production process flow diagram with tranaction and the tables that have used in the transaction.
    2. what is mean by backlash in production process
    with regards,
    paul

backflush means automatic good issue document generation after the actuall physical issue of the material in the shop flooor.
suppose u have backflush for component in the order, then u will issue the same while production of the header material, but there is no updation in the system so when u will do teh confirmation for the order then automatically in the background document will be generated for the issued componenets.
backflush can be defined in Material master, work center and routing with decending priority....

  • Pre-production Planning

Hi, How to do pre-production planning for the possible production with current resources in a stipulated time and resources required for completion of specified production qty with the stipulated time. i also need to condisder maintenance schedule etc.pls advise.

    Dear Yadav,
In my understanding LTP is one way of doing the pre-production planning for a material or a list of
material through simulated planning and using the simulated planned orders.
This can be used for doing vendor analysis and also to check the capacity anaylsis.
Based on this you can modify the production plan or go for extra shift or extra resources to meet the
plan or adjust the plan as per the available capacity.
To know explore more about LTP,check this thread,
    LTP - CM38
Just hold on for other's suggestions on the same.

  • SOP- Production Plan

Hi,Sales plan is prepared for every 3 months (month wise demand). based on that we need to generate weekly wise production plan forindividual months.pls advise how to do that?

    Dear,
Create the production plan from sales plan in MC87 for three months.
Then split it in to week just go to header menu EditPeriod splittingTotal Week. than transfer to demand managment ExtraTransfer to Demand managment.
Else you can also split in MD62 in schedule line tap.
Then run the MRP you you will get weekly requirement.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Unexpected result of Production Plan

    Hi Experts
We are doing finite planning for 4 weeks in PPDS.
Heuristic which is used for FinitePlanning:
    Step 1: SAP_PP_020
    Step2: SAP_REM_014
Planning time fence for Finite Planning: 2 weeks (As the Users Manually Update the Production Plan)
We are running finite planning on every week
    Please find the below example:
    PIRS:
    Mon= 100
    Tues= 0
    Wed = 200
    Thus= 0
    Fri=0
    Sat=900
The result of production plan by monday= 1200
Stock levels are increasing by Monday itself. Which should not happen.
Production is ready by monday for the Wednesdays and Saterdays requirment.
    Please provide your valuable suggesstions.
    Thanks
