Regarding the Smartforms

HI All,
Its an very urgent requirement . I have to create the second page in smartforms in that i need to print the text , so iam creating the second page in that i placed the normal window , in that i created the text , but in attributes i keeping blank not mentioning like first, second , if i place the second page in the attributes its not issuing the printpreview , Please give the solution and get the rewards points more.

In the first page you put a COMMAND element..
In that you Explicitly call the second page
(There you can mention the conditions for second page to trigger)
To create a Command element.. Right click on the page window and create a Command... In that you can find 'NEXT Page Command'..in the next tab of that command Window you can define a condition for Making that Second Page Trigger..
One more point is that without a main window a page will not trigger automatically..
u have to call it explicitly

Regarding the text in the smartforms.

i m working on the smartforms ,i have to display the text as a column heading in the forms i.e "Amount of
one increment granted from 01.07.95" as this text is very lengthy due to which my rows are getting heighted as i m using table for populating it in the forms,what i want that is there any way to get it condensed so that the distance between "amount & of " for example will be reduced.
plz help me sort out this problem.

Goto SMARTSTYLES and Create a appropriate style there.
Create a Paragraph Style with lower Font and hence the Area will be reduced.
Apply that style to the text of the Heading

Barcode is not getting printed in the SmartForm

Hi All,
I am trying to print BARCODE in a SMARTFORM but it is not getting printed.
I have created a barcode ZTest_Barcode from the transaction SE73. Then I have created a Character Format C1 with this barcode ZTest_Barcode.
In the SmartForm I have applied this character format like this <C1>&WA_VBAK-VBELN&</C1>.
But in the preview of this SmartForm barcode is not getting printed while this field is printing like <C1>220<C1>.
I have also tried with some SAP barcodes like BC_CD39, C128A_01, etc. But the result is same.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

F110: Automatic payment supports the smartforms instead of script.?

Dear All,
I have a requirement on smartforms.
I want to configure the smartform instead of script in F110 at company code level.
Whether I need to do code changes on driver program RFFOUS_C, because this program supports only script.
Please let me know how to do it?

SPRO => Automatic Outgoing Paymenst =>Payment Methods / Bank Selcetion for Payment Program => Set Up All Company Codes for Payment Transactions => Check for your Company Code => Go for Paying Company Code (Click It) => at the bottom you'll see Forms. Mention your form there.
In case if you wish to use Driver Program RFFOUS_C, i think you should make a z copy and alter as per smartform.

How to set border lines in table and also in template in the smartforms ?
As I have to create table with following detals
total row = 3
row1 = 3 column
row2 = 6 column
row3 = 9 column
for 2nd and 3rd row data to be fetched using coding.
so can anybody explain me what should i use
Table or Template ?
and I want the border like excel format.
Can anybody suggest me ?

if the data is multiple i.e. line items choose table.
if the data is single i.e. fixed choose template.
Create table
> Draw u r no lines
> choose option select pattern
> select display framed patterns
Choose u r required one.
out lined, or full lined. u can choose option.
same procedure to be followed for template also.

I tried creating a window with the height length is 0 cms.
It is allowing to create a line.

First I need to include the LOGO and next line I need to make a line.
What do you mean by 'making a line '?
Is it an empty line?
If it is just a blank line, while creating the text below the logo just give one line space and then type in your text.

Error while executing the smartform!

Hello,
I am trying to see the output of the Invoice smartform 'LB_BIL_INVOICE' to check the layout.
Am asked the value for the parameter 'IS_REPEAT' a single parameter. For which I gave both Space and 'X'. But still am getting the error, 'FORMATTING_ERROR'. Please adivse me what could I be doing wrong.

First, please check whether the Smartform is 'Activated' perfectly or not. Second step is check the format, sometimes we give the format which will not supported.
Please let me the outcome.

Print program for the smartform for selecting the output type (email/fax)

Hi All,
Requirement :I have to create a print program for the smartform where the output type may be print out,email or fax ,so i need to put the condition for selecting the output type (like printout,email,fax).
can any body please let me know how to put the condition for selecting the desired output type ?

Hi
It is not the output type that has to be changed
it is the MEDIUM which you have to change and configure
for printout medium is 1
for FAX medium is 2
for MAIL it is 7.
so instead of printout change the medium to 2 or 7 for the same output type and attach to the same driver program and smartform/form.

Problem in converting to PDF (in the smartform)

Hello Eddy and Jashandeep,
 Fought for a while with the smartform and called it in my BSP Application.But here i faced a problem.The sequence is as follows -->
1, I Created a smartform and wrote the code as given by
 Mr.Eddy(weblog on PDF by Craig) in my BSP Application.
2, I executed my BSP Application.
3, Got the tableview on the page.
4, Selected the 4rth Radiobutton in the list and then pressed Display.
5, My application went for a dump saying :
 "An exception with the type
 CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE occurred, but was neither
 handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause"
Could u guys tell me what was the problem in my case.
a. I think that there is problem in my Smart form!!
 In my application I have the final table containing
 18 fields.
 But in smartform i declared the table in the
 forminterface of type mcdata as i cannot define my 18
 fields type in the interface.
SO a type mismatch may occured due to this and a dump was generated ...i guess it is so....
PLease help me to come-out of this problem.
2, Plz help me in understand the following toooo.....
 Why do we have 6 radio buttons for the PDF
 conversion ?
 a. The requirement is to download the table into a PDF.
 Can U plz tell me what is the purpose of each
 radiobutton.
And a browse option is also given.
Why is this required when we have the content to be downloaded to PDF on the page itself in the form of a table ?

It's working in the SmartForm and in now it's working in my layout also.
But,the spool output is not the output of my table-view.

Problem in displaying data in the smartform output.

Dear Freinds,
I have a requirement as per my requirement i have to display the employee dependents details in the smartform output.
I have taken a table in smartform and collected all teh employee dependents details . Each dependents his own details around 8 fields. so iam displaying in the smartform it is working till now no problem ........iam getting data as below

These are the one of the dependentds details iam having till now , like this i have another dependts details. Now the problem i have
to add some fields to this list ( to this internal table) ...........if iam adding one more feild data is getting truncated as i dont have any more fields to add to right in the horizontal line........how can i solve this issue and how can i add further fields to this list
like date of birth of the dependents and gender

If this is a Tablethen only thing you can do is re-size the grid and font size to adjust your data. Like, displaying HEADINGS & DATAs in 2 rows instead of 1, etc.
Nothing else can be done. Otherwise you have to trim down the data to adjust in one page.

Problem in sending the Smartform Output as PDF through Mail

Call RFC INSIDE THE SMARTFORM

Hi Experts,
i want to know , is it possible to call the RFC in side the smartform. In my requirement, i need some data from ECC system to display in the smartform of the CRM.
currently i am trying to call outside the smartform and pass to the same, but smartform is triggered from actions and due to other constrints i am not able to to do so..
hence kindly suggest me the other options or is it possible to fetch the data from the ECC to CRM usinfg the RFC inside the smartform.

Hi,
I hope yes you can write the RFC fm code inside the layout of the smartforms, but the problem is if RFC could not able to fetch the data from R/3 some times, or if it could not able to find the right records then it will return with error / blank records. To avoid all this kind of problems its better to write the same code in your driver program. In case if you dont get the data from R/3 then you can control the layout set from triggering.
