i am trying to design an application using flex at the frontend and in the gui what i have designed i have the upper portion consisting of four panels
displaying the critical events at real time whereas in the lower half of the gui design i have designed something that based on the user provided input the
the information should be displayed in the lower half of the gui design layout.i just wanted to know whether it is possible to use two services like request response http based service for the lower half and real time data pushing using either amf or amfx or http with polling in the upper half.but i want them to be displayed on the same gui.

Using Lightroom publish service for either Flickr or SmugMug. I have many images with a keyword Maddy. This frequently doesn't show up in SmugMug or Flickr. All my other keywords seem to work fine. Anybody experience anything like this?

You only get one opportunity to set up the hard drive under publish and the folder cannot be changed unless you get a plug-in to provide a work around.
However you could just create a generic publish folder - something like Photo Lab, or Print Job.
But you could then right click on your publish folder and select “make target collection” - you will see the plus sign added.
Simply highlight the photos you want to print and press B (the same as adding to a quick collection) and your Publish Services folder on your hard drive will be populated with the exports.
The real problem is that you would need to edit the publish settings every time you required different dimensions etc (not sure possible). I use a similar system, which works well and I like how I can see what has already been published and what is still to be published but my prints are always the same size and resolution.

There are multiple users with the same display name

Hi,
We have a user and when she get an item assigned to her she sees the following alert:
"There are multiple users with the same display name USERNAME and at least one of them does not have read permissions to some of the files"
Now I looked in the database and when I run the following query with the username:

Then I get 2 same usernames back, How can I get rid of one of them ? When I access TFS trough the portal I only find 1 occurence of this user.

I recently built a new windows PC for the first time. My (new) wife and I both have itunes accounts, which we would like to use under different windows accounts on same PC. However, when I try to download my wife's songs it gives me an error.

I am recently married to a wonderful woman and just built a windows PC for the first time. The idea was that we would (sorta) both be able to get a new computer out of it as we would each have a different account under windows. One of the first tasks was to migrate over our iTunes libraries. I did mine with no problem, but now that I'm try to do hers, I'm getting an error message saying "if you download past purchases with your Apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days."
What's the best solution for this? I want my wife to be able to use the new computer under her windows account just like it's her new computer, to the extent possible. I don't want our two iTunes accounts to be fighting each other and causing problems because they are on the same physical machine. What to do? Surely this can't be the first time this has happened - where two people each want to have their own iTunes account on the same computer.
This is the latest version of iTunes (12.0.1.26) running on Windows 8.1.

Using a Publish Service for print service prep

I'm just starting to work out a new way to prepare images for sending to a (consumer grade!) print service using a Publish service, and realized I should harness the power of this corner of the Lightroom community to see if my ideas are sound. Feel free to add comments or suggestions.
Here's what I'm doing:
- For each size and processing option (e.g., 5x7, Matte) create a hard drive Publish Service.
Set options appropriately, such as:
- Filename for clarity. I use custom name + orig file number. (There appears to be a small display bug, in that the example displayed will show the " dng.jpg")
- Given what I've learned about Lr and JPEG compression, I reduce the quality to 80% or so for a nice quality/size balance. I don't want to have to muck with this too much.
- My service does not have an ICC profile for me to use, but assure me that AdobeRGB is accepted by their equipment. So that's what I'll use. (One day I'll try out a pro service that understands that a simple thing like an ICC profile makes us feel warm and fuzzy.)
- Resizing to fit. I set to never enlarge (though it should never happen that I have to enlarge) and set the dimensions to whatever I need for this service: 5x7, 4x6 &etc. Hints on optimal dimensions for getting nice borderless prints of a certain size accepted! I know that not all dimensions are created equal.
- I'll assume that the default resolution is fine, but I ought to do my research for when to modify this when I get into 8x10 or larger formats.
- Sharpening for print and paper type for this publish service.
- My service has no reasonable file size limitations, so I just let the exported files get created at any size.
- I minimize keywords. Makes much smaller files because who needs keywords in prints? I have Metadata Wrangler, so I might insert that and have it leave in the minimal set of MD, like ICC profile and copyright info.
So, given this, I can process my images as usual, make a number of crops (just to be a perfectionist) and then drag them to appropriate service where they end up in a hierarchy of folders ready for uploading.
What am I missing?
BTW, I'm not using the Print module because it was too tweaky trying to get it to make JPEGs that would print borderless. Feel free to set me straight on that if you like.

Using 2 different ipod models on same computer

I have been using my ipod on itunes 4.8 since Dec. 2005. Now my grandaughter just got an ipod shuffle which won't run on itunes 4.8. It wants to install a newer version. Not a problem I suppose......but will installing a new version of itunes wipe out my older version? I don't want to overwrite my 4.8. Will installing a newer version take all my songs away from my older version?
Can you even run 2 ipods on the same computer? Since we each have different serial numbers will one be able to run on it and the other not?.....or what?
I tried to find an email address to email Apple about this but I can't find any on the support pages. The support is not real supportive is it.

The ipod shuffle user's manual on page 4 says that "to use ipod shuffle with a windows pc you must have: itunes 5.0 or later (itunes 6.0.5 or later is recommended)".
Her disk comes with an itunes version (or so it says, I haven't got that far as to download it yet). I wondered if it would affect my songs. Thank you for letting me know that it won't.
I'm thinking that maybe installing her software on my computer is not such a good idea since it doesn't have the ability to manually monitor what will be loaded on it. Will all my songs automatically download to hers? (Sorry if I seem dense, but I only know how to run mine & I have mine set to manual control.)
I think we should just install this on her Dad's computer.
Since like I said before I don't know anything about the ipod shuffle.......will her songs all get automatically downloaded or deleted according to what she has in her library on what ever computer we actually install it to? (I hope you understood that, since I'm not sure what to actually ask yet)
As far as the email support........yes I actually did think that after spending over $300 for my ipod and whatever they spent on hers that somewhere on the Apple website that there would be a way to actually ask the company a question and get a simple answer in return. But getting an answer from you knowledgable forum members is probably better than the runaround I would get from Apple anyway. Thanks!!

How to use simple values services for multiple rows ina table

As per my requirment i need to use SVS for multile rows in a table.
The coding goes like this for getting single attribute which is directly under root context.

(this is only for context attribute directly placed under root context in the view controller.)
We need to use value node and a value attribute inside this node. And retrieve the same. so need help regarding the code changes.

I had tried out your suggestion. Its not working.
The code goes like this, but the data is not getting populated.
"controller_curr" is the value attribute under the node "InitTable" in the controller which is further mapped to view controller with the same structure.
The data is geting printed through the message manager just before the line

I have just helped set up an iPad for my elderly cousin who is in her mid 80s. She cannot cope with multipile log in and passwords, so to help her out in case she loses her information, I have given my e-mail address for use as 'rescue' in case her information goes astray. I have just had an e-mail in from you a couple of days ago asking me to verify if I had set up the 'rescue' services for myself etc. The answer is no, but I would like to be able to use my address for my cousin's information - how can I make this work please?

For info we are fellow users here on theseforums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
The email should have a 'verify now' link in it e.g.
If you click on that 'verify' link you should be taken to a browser and be prompted to sign into your cousin's account, abd doing that will verify the address as the rescue email address on your cousin's account. As it's only a rescue email address you don't have to use the verify link and verify it, it should still work as a rescue email address on her account (though you should probably verify it).

Use formscentral basic service for 2 months

I know FormsCentral is being shutdown. However, I have a form that I would like to have the Basic Service enabled on for the next 2 months. How can I enable the billing on my account to activate this service for a very short term form? I have looked several places, but cannot find the "UPGRADE" area anywhere.

I was a paid user in the past. the form is for a scholarship application
for the local Rotary club. They used the service at this time last year
and would like to use it again while they can plan an alternative for
next year. The application period ends April 6, 2015 so it is slightly
over 2 months, but well within the expiration time frame.

Using 2 different machines with Some same files?

I recently bought a new MacBookPro because I needed a more powerful machine to handle my audio mixes in Logic 9.
My previous MacBookPro (from 2006) is still a good machine...I'd like to keep using it for Photos, I-tunes, etc., but there are some functions that I'd like to share between machines.
Is there a way to synch the 2 machines? I'm using external hard drives for my i-Tunes files & I want to do the same with i-photo & i-movie files, can these by synched between both machines?
What is the best way to work with both machines, doing some applications on one and others on the other machine, but sharing the i-Tunes library?
If there are any links on the Apple website that address these issues, I'd appreciate anyone sharing them with me.

This is a bit out of my area, but I think you want to share the data, not sync it.

I'm not sure just how to go about it for other purposes, but once you have sharing set up, it may be fairly straightforward.

I use a paticular website for ordering parts. It allows me to enter the parts I need, but when I go to the bottom of the page to click on "save and send" firefox doesn't seem to recognise that space.

It's a private corporate site. Internet explorer has always worked just fine.

None of the stuff in " http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite " helps. I have tried and tried and I have even wipe the computer clean still didn't help. I got the same problem as he/she has got in the first posted. Can add some web pages but not all the web pages I want.. I should have never updated to 3.6.13... That's when it all started for me, from that version..... Now Version 3.6.14 is out, I was hoping the version 3.6.14 might would fix the problem wrong again....
Funny thing is i can not even Bookmark Firefox.com!!!!!...lol
So any ideas on how to fix it other than the link giving would help.

I am trying to view a note in Vendor Master data but no information provided and I can only see white screen. Below are the steps that I performed:
1. Go to FK03
2. Open a Vendor
3. Click the Services for Objects
4. Attachement List
5. Select a Note
4. Display it
5. Pop up window appreared and no information occurred. Only White screen
Is there's a missing configuration, plugin, or data in my SAP system/workstation?
I tried to login to other PC and it worked.
Just wondering what is missing on my computer.

I have the exact same problem as you have described. I also used my ipod as a watch but starting from today, whenever I unlock it the screen turns white until a reset is done. Even a factory reset through itunes didn't fix it.

Two computers using the same display

Can I use one cinema display with two computers ate the same time. that is, can i have my MBP and a Mac Mini connected and switch between the two?

Try Gefen and have a look in their Apple Section.
I think a 2-1 DVI KVM switch is all you need. But of course the HD Mate Scaler will do everything.

I would like to recover one line of my display area. My Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar and my Norton Toolbar are both short enough to fit on one line. I'd like to combine them.

Thanks for your response. I'm sorry to be so dense... but all I see in the referenced "how to" section is how to add function icons to the navigation bar. I don't see how to move an existing toolbar onto the same line as the existing Firefox Bookmarks toolbar. Can you please elaborate?
