Regarding Transfer BR

Hi All,
I successfully copied the data to the new combination of the "To department" by using Transfer BR in WFP but facing below two issues:
a) The data is copied from the next month of the Transfer Month as in the run time prompt.
b) I need to delete the data in the "From Department" from the Month of the Transfer.
I am using the standard Business rule of Workforce.
Could you let me know.

Hi,
Can you not just fix on required member set and use the CLEARDATA command.
e.g.
FIX([fromDepartment],FY09,Working....)
CLEARDATA budget
ENDFIX

Issue Regarding Transfer Rules

Hi All,
We have an issue regarding Transfer Rules. We are loading Data using 0FI_GL_4 into ZFIGL_A01. It is a periodic load of data.
Last month due to some issue in R/3 we have to replicate the Data Sources and retransport the Transfer Rules from BW Dev to BW Production. Next we loaded data into the InfoCube. Now when we execute the report for the current period I am not getting Master Data Values. All are coming as Not Assigned.
We have tracked down the issue and found that the issue may be incorrect mapping of Tranfer Rules. Is there any way in Prd where we can revert back to old version of Transfer Rules or can find the old mappings in Transfer Rules.

The only way you can find your old transfer rules mapping is to goto RSA1 -
> Infosource -> Tools -> Program and compare the versions .

Check the following:
1. Item category pirkcing relevance
2. Wear house no assignemnt
3. stock availability
4. Delivery - header - processing status
Once To is created it depends on whether it is single step picking or 2 step if 2 step in go to LT12 and do confirmation.
Then if packing is mandetory then you need todo packing and then PGI (VL02n) and then do VF01 invoice

Query regarding Transfer order creation

Hi Experts,
I have query regarding on creation of transferorder in WM.
1) Once the delivery order received from SD , How WM people will proceed with that delivery order?
2) Is it possible to create transfer order for each item avaliable in delivery order?
3) Is there any chance to partial delivery/ partial picking against that delivery order?

1.once the delivery order received from SD, WM will start up with creating a wave pick thru outbound delivery monitor(VL06P), then trasnfer order (TO)is created , then TO is confirmed and goods issue is posted.
2.yes it is possible to create transfer order for each item avaliable in delivery order, if the delivery items are not grouped under a wave pick.
3.partial delivery can be made

Regarding transfer LSMW from one system to another

Hi experts,
I have a LSMW project, subprojects and objects in a system. I have to transfer or upload the entire LSMW project into another system with all its rules and recordings.
I tried with export and import option on LSMW. But only the texts are copied. Recordings are not copied into the system.
Please give me the solution for this.

Then which client do u want
go to the system
Using the transaction code scc1-Enter the Source client and request no.
It will transport the entier lsmw.

Regarding Transfer Order

Hi All,
TO is Auto Created
I have material showing in storage type B04 (p/n TRM-1). This material was issued to kanbans on 05/02/08 on transfer orders XXX55, XXX56 and XXX57. It should be in W004. How do I get it moved there? There is no material documnet number on the transfer orders or showing in the MB51 for these 3 transactions. This material has already moved to the production floor.

Hi,
As it was clearly explained by Frenchy, your TOs won't generate material document since their purpose is to realize goods movement within your WH.
What is W004?
How do I get it moved there?
Please check in LT22 the TOs generated for the goods you are speaking. Give WH no., material no., batch, etc that identifies the goods and check all TOs - whether confirmed or not.
This way you can check what's happened.
LT22 in WM is similar to MB51 in IM (let's say). /MB52 in IM ~ LX02 in WM/

Question regarding transfer and restore of iphone

Hi All, I just brought a iphone5 and i want to transfer my data from my current iphone4s to the iphone5, but i will still be using my iphone4s. As you guys know, every iphone will have a Name (General>About>Name). So my question is, after i do a restore from backup to my iphone5 and then change the Name, then plug in back to my PC and let the iphone5 sync with the New Name, will it overwrite my old backup or it will create another backup with the new Name?
I ask this is because i will be using both iphone, but want the data from iphone4s to be transfer to my iphone5, from here i want both iphone to have their own backup.

Query Regarding transfer of WBS element change data

Hi All,
We have a requirement in which we need to transfer the change/create/delete information for WBS element in SAP to a third party system for certain set of specified fields.
The problem we are facing is that the change and create information dosen't get updated in the CDHDR and CDPOS tables, but the master table for WBS element (PRPS).
One way of fetching the change information is to compare the old and new field values for the specified fields, which seems to be a tedious job.
Just wanted to know if there is any other possible solution to the above requirement????

You should also include Oracle Warehouse Builder in your evaluation. It uses Oracle gateways to pull data from 3rd party databases and supports loading from flat files as well. If these data sources support ODBC, then you might be able to load via the ODBC (Generic Connectivity Gateway), wouldn't be super fast, but it you could manage the dowtime...

Regarding Transfer speed in Cisco Any Connect

Hi,
I was trying to check transfer speed from Cisco Any Connect, with only ports opened in firewall 443 & 80 with 1 destination , but to complete data transfer of 50MB file it takes around 40mins, but if all ports are unblocked in Firewall with 1 destination ,it takes only 9mins.
so wanted to know the correct port numbers which needs to be opened to make data transfer speed fast & why this behaviour.
Please somebody help me.

a customer has confronted me with a similar issue. They are using AnyConnect SSL Clients in their LAN, and noticed a severe performance drop on client side once connected via AnyConnect. I have set this up in a lab environment to compare LAN performance with AnyConnect SSL performance.

The ASA was configured from factory default and there was no traffic passing besides this test. AnyConnect used DTLS, and interface mtu on the ASA was 1500, the AnyConnect mtu was left unmodified, so I suspect the maximum of 1406 bytes was used.
Result:
- While AnyConnect was disconnected, Iperf reported bandwidth usage of about 300Mbps. This was what I was expecting.
- As soon as I was connected via AnyConnect, the bandwidth usage dropped tp about 80Mbps. I expected a slight drop, but not this much.
What causes such decrease in performance? Sure, if connected via the Internet, clients will most likely never notice this, but the customer uses AnyConnect SSL in a Gigabit LAN environment. Could the bottleneck be on the client side? The load and memory usage on the ASA side was very low. I have tried several ASA versions, but they all deliver similar results.

But i want to write this code at InfoObject Level in the Maintanence Screen (Create Transfer Routine)
So how can i write this code in Maintanence Screen of each InfoObject instead of writitng in the transfer rules.

i need an good solution for transfer posting (Variant configuaration)
1.From one sales order to another sales order.
We tried with movement type 413E , system is not allowing as configuaration is different between sales orders.
We tried with this scenario:
EX: Sales order 1 has stock.
Sales order 2 has no stock.
We created planned order fo sales order stock 2 by running MRP.
and then we moved sales order1 stock to unrestricted use. when converting planned order to production order of sales order 2 we deleted the entire materials of Sales order2( while creating production order) and we tried to consume the sales order1 stock which was moved to unrestricted use...At this time though stock is there (which has been moved from sales order1)system is not sensing the stock and showing missing parts list.
So how to carry out next...please can anyone give me the solution or any other option.
We have serial numbers also for each order.

In this under SAP R/3 i selected some datasources.
Once you have selected all required DataSources and nodes
here i can't see the Transfer DataSources from the application toolbar.
How can i transer that datasources.
Please respond immediatly.

hi Vasu,
you can transfer datasource one by one,
RSA5, cursor position on the datasource, and 'transfer datasource' (ctrlshiftf7) or menu datasources->transfer datasource.
(or check if there is button 'activate datasources')

here i am with scenario,transfer data from old pernr to new pernr with out using actions type.
it is better can anyone tell me the function module for the above scenario.

What do you mean by new pernr?
Is the employee rejoined the same company in same country? - Then can change the employement status of the employee in IT0000 to active and the load other required data for this use REHIRE action.This will with only old pernr. (there is no new pernr concept. employee is just rejoining the same company in same country)
or if you have to use different pernr, then use to alteast use hiring action to create new pernr. I believe you are doing that . If you need to use old employee data from old pernr, then connect old pernr record with new pernr record using Reference Personnel Id concept of IT0031.
Please read the SAP document on help.sap. and go ahead.
If it is for different country also you can use IT0031.
I can copy paste the text from help,sap but it would look like junk. It better you and read through the document to understand the concept.

Issue regarding transfer of sales order stock to another location

Scenario:
Sales order stock to be transported to the port(secong plant) from manufacturing unit (plant 1) and to be delivered to the customer from port (second plant ). whereas the sales order is raised at manufacturing unit (plant 1).
Steps followed:
Step 1 : Customer gives the sales order at Plant (1)
Step 2 : STO is done from Plant (2)
Step 3 : VL10B with reference to STO is done
Step 4 : VL02N is done with reference to outbound delivery
Step 5 : GRN at Plant (2) with reference to outboubd delivery
Step 6 : Delivery to the customer
In this scenario, the sales order stock is not picked whereas the unrestricted stock is being picked. we are doing MIGO to send the sales order stock to unrestricted stock and then picking this stock.
whereas the client wants sales order stock to be picked directly without using movement type 411 E, as this is a daily process.
can you suggest any solution / movement type that picks the sales order stock directly and also gives the delivery document ( as we tried doing with movement type 301, we are not getting any delivery documents).
