Regarding version in controlling area

Hi Friends, Please help.
I opened one of the version in controlling area for 2007 through Tcode: OKEV
but, I did not click on "integrated planning"
now user has uploaded the budget but its not automatically trasferring into special ledger, as integrated planning was not checked.
Moreover if there is any data posted to that version, it wont allow me to change the version.
Please guide what should I do.

Run KP96 for activating planning when plan data exists.

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to pull some data from a SAP OLTP system into SAP BW 710 system, using extractor "0CO_PC_02". The data load is failing with the below error message:
Target cost version in controlling area does not exist     KN     147
Target cost version 2 not defined. Check your entry     KV     35
Internal program error ( Order 000010510554 Version 002 )     RM     11
Errors in source system     RSM     340
The same error is thrown when I am trying to execute the extractor in RSA3 in the source system.
Please help me with the resolution of the same. It's a high priority job we are handling as of now in this.

Define Target Version in Controlling Area.

Hi Gurus,
I got the error messegae while doing the Transaction KKP5/KKPT.
No target cost versions exist in controlling area 1000
Message no. KV031
Diagnosis
Variance calculation is controlled by a target cost version and a variance key.
Procedure
Create the target cost versions.
How we can fix this error.

Yes, i already used the same transaction, but i got the error while using OKV7
Version 1000 1 not intended to be used as the target cost version
Message no. KQ243
Diagnosis
The specified target cost version has not been flagged in central version maintenance as suitable for variance calculation.
Procedure
1. Check the entries in the central version table.
2. If appropriate, flag the version as suitable for variance calculation.
I am not able to do this.

Increment and decrement buttons on a ring control are greyed out

Hello,
The check box for showing the increment and decrement buttons on a ring control are greyed out. Does anyone know why? I have verified that the ring is a control as opposed to a indicator.

Errr... yes, I believe that's exactly what I said in my last response.
"This is different from what I saw in another part of this forum about using event structures on a Menu ring."
Don't know what you could be referring to, as there is no event specific to the increment/decrement controls. All that they would do (if they existed) is to change the value of the control, and the applicable event would be the "Value changed" event. Where exactly did you read this?

Controlling provides you with information for management decision-making. It facilitates coordination, monitoring and optimization of all processes in an organization. This involves recording both the consumption of production factors and the services provided by an organization.
As well as documenting actual events, the main task of controlling is planning. You can determine variances by comparing actual data with plan data. These variance calculations enable you to control business flows.
Income statements such as, contribution margin accounting, are used to control the cost efficiency of individual areas of an organization, as well as the entire organization.
CCA(Credit Control Area)
An organizational unit that represents the area where customer credit is awarded and monitored.
This organizational unit can either be a single or several company codes, if credit control is performed across several company codes. One credit control area contains credit control information for each customer.

Update version CO 000 for controlling area

Hi Experts,
I need to update the values for CO versión 000 for a new controlling area created in the system. In order to do that I tried to customize in Project System--> Costs --> Create CO Versions. In the tables I choose version 0 but, when accessing sub-menu Controlling Area Settings, I cannot create settings for my new controlling area.

What do you mean by inability to create settings for conrolling area? What is exactly the problem/error message. Just set the conrolling area (OKKS) and access the path you mentioned.

I think it means "the sliders are all 0 so painting adjustments with this brush won't change anything." In other words, move one of the sliders to a non-zero position, for example Exposure from 0 to 1.0, and then see what happens. You can edit the brush and change it to do something other than Exposure +1.

Creation of a new controlling area

I'm trying to create a new controlling area (trans. OKKP).
In folder "activate components/control indicators", I wanted to activate Profitability Analysis but the field was in grey and was not possible to change from "component not active" to one of the other activation possibilities.
I need to know what to do to change this field.
The client is working with COPA and this set-up was done before to assign the controlling area to the FI company.
The SAP version is 4.7

I want to clarify some more doubts as follow:
1) How this iterative price is calculated means by which transaction code, Is it calculated at the time of automatic plan price calculation means thru KSS4 & KSPI..
2) What is formula system uses to calculate this price, like plan price may be calculated based on Planned Cost /Planned Activity.
3) Where we can see this price means in which Txn Code.
4) As you have said that this cannot be used for revaluation, then what is the use, Is it only for Analysis purpose.
5) Is there any other settings we have to do in activity master or any other, to calculate the same.

Activating C&V Profile in Controlling Area Error URGENT

Hi Experts,
I'm having problems in activating C&V Profile. I have done all the set up in FI, CO, and PCA. They are all consistent but when i am activating it says the following errors:
Create a results analysis version for valuation view ID01
Version 0 in controlling area ID01 does not allow variance calculation
Actual data already posted in controlling area ID01
What should i do?

Controlling->General Controlling->Multiple Valuation Approaches/Transfer Prices->Basic Settings->Create Versions for Valuation Methods->
If yes
Then in transaction code OKG9 Check the same version if its not reflecting create the same for controlling area ID01 for (WIP)

Controlling area already used for org. unit problem

Hi people,
can you please help me with one problem, my customer is upgrading SAP HR from 4.6 to 6.0 and now we are testing QAS system.
When I create new or. unit in PPOME, I have Cost-centre inherited from the org.unit above, but when I want to put another Cost-centre it gives me the next error "Controlling area HR01 already used for organizational unit XXXXXXXX".
The same procedure worksin PRD system which is on version 4. 6. Could you please help me what is wrong because i am not able to change cost centre in the QAS system.

Hi,
To which object u are going to change the cost center i.e, position, job, org.unit.
If you are changing the cost center to position, If it is not allowing to change the cost center then u have to check the parameters:
May be u already assigned cost center
May be u already assigned cost center to ur org, unit, which u assigned to ur position. If u already assigned diffrent cost center to ur org.unit, you may not change the cost center to ur position or job.

Multiple credit control areas for 1 company code

My client is using ECC6 version and they activated credit control area, as I know that 1 company code can have 1 credit control area and 1 credit control can be assigned with multiple company codes,. but in one of my client company code is assigned to 4 credit control area through
u201CFinancial Accounting (New)- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable-Credit Management-Credit Control Account-Assign Permitted Credit Control Areas to Company Codeu201D-
Can anyone let me know how this functionality will work? Any additional impact will be there when compare to 1:1 scenario? And what are the details we need to update in FD32 when we assign multiple credit controls for 1 company code.

Hi,
The multiple assignemnet of credit control allows you to use multiple credit control for customers. Thus in FD32 you can use these assigned different credit control area and maintain the credit limit for each area.

I have created a new fiscal year for a controlling area using transaction OKEV. Does anyone know where to maintain the "maintenance b reference flag" (REFERENZ) and "record type" (VRGAR) that appears in table TKA07?

You can maintain record type in transaction OKEQN -- Settings for Each Fiscal year -- Tab 'Price Calculation' -- Field 'procedure type'. This record type is used for revaluation of an actual price calculation that is updated to Profitability Analysis.
You can maintain Ind.: Maintenance by reference allowed? (REFERENZ) through SE11, table maintenance for TKA07; but i think this field is not used any more.
