Regarding Voice Services

Does Verizon offer VOIP? I am wondering if it is possible to use my asterisk pbx and setup a trunk with verizon so I am able to use sip instead of using a kludge (Linksys SPA3102) or a Sangoma card to allow for land line to tie in. I hate that total garbage solutions given I use a Nettop for Asterisk with no avaliable PCI slots for a Sangoma card and SPA3102 does not do CID worth a **bleep**.

    Currently, we do not have any monitoring or reporting specific to voice services. The standard monitoring and reporting available for any device may be applied. In a future release, we may have additional voice features.

  • Why is the Voice Service Worst than any other phone?

    I am getting no signal/service in MANY spots and I never had this issue with my Droid X.  I have tried putting the phone in 3g mode only and have no better luck.  Latest software loaded and no better results as well as performance based option on for battery.  Is this phone the only 4g phone worst on voice service or are all 4g phones not working correctly with the new SIM authentication? I know the towers are there?????

  • Voice service down. No dial tone or light.

    It's recently come to my attention after expecting a call that my Uverse phone service is down. Checking the call logs, it looks like this problem started sometime after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, the 11th. I've tried a number of things on my end to try and fix it, but nothing seems to be working. Figured I should try and get a second opinion here before escalating the problem to phone support. Supplemental information: Power, Broadband, and Service lights are all solid green. Voice 1 (Service line) is not lit.Homeportal page landing states the voice status on line 1 is not registered.Both TV and internet services are unaffected.Primary phone is a cordless system. Keep a spare landline plugged in at all times for power outages. No dial tone on either one.No apparent fraying or disconnection of inside wiring from protector (no NID installed) to homerun to RG. Outside pair is a buried drop.BBU light is green and is in proper working order.Solutions I've tried: Plugging a phone directly into the RG. Nothing happened. Still no dial tone.Power cycling the RG. No change. Did not restore phone service.The online repair tool automated diagnostics detected no problems. Followed steps for no dial tone, repair was not successful, stated that the RG needed to be replaced.Troubleshooted through TV access, resetting voice service had no effect.

    Factory reset the RG by depressing and holding reset bottom located near power connection on back of RG. (Valid for 3800, 3801 and 589 RG with TV service) Warning this restore default settings, any custom changes (ssid, password, etc) will need to be redone. Need to hold till all lights go out  with a green power light only (about 10-15 seconds).Give it 5 minutes or so to reload/recycle.... Does line1 light come on, yes check dial tone, call in/out. If no either RG replacement or phone has been removed from your account... Either way will need to call 1-800-288-2020. If you have the 3812 inid with i38hg, the factory reset is performed at the iPSU or white toaster size power supply by inserting a toothpick (or similar) into red line hole on upper left side.Again hold till both light (left/right) are flashing red.

    no, has nothing at all to do with the phone but rather your phone service, and that Is between you and your network carrier.

  • Using My Own Modem & Having Voice Service...

    I've always used my own modem (Motorola SB6141).  But at my new location I need to have voice service, so Comcast gave me a TC8305C that I really don't like.  How can I use my own SB6141 and still get the voice service?  Is there a stand alone device for voice?

    You can use only the TG862 and it would be best to place it in bridge mode so it acts like a plain modem, then you hang your own high quality router behind it just like you do now with the 6141.  If you browse the forums, you will find many posts about poor wi-fi and other networking issues on many of the gateway models.
    No real advantage having separates if you bridge the gateway.

  • I was LIED to regarding a SERVICE UPGRADE. UNBELIEVABLY disappointing and dishonest

    I have been a loyal verizon customer for over a year. Was excited to have my new service installed at my new place. $106 a month including DVR. Very pleased. 
    I could not view my bill or change services within the first month but wanted to look into a land line. I spoke with a Verizon customer service rep on the phone who ASSURED me that we could keep that same price as long as we locked in a contract. He informed me that the first bill would be $121, but that this was just "initial charges" that would go away and that the bill would go back to within a couple of dollars of $106. 
    Of course, without being able to see this and taking my oral understanding of the contractual terms I was agreeing to from the Representative, we signed up for the 24 month contract in order to get the price of $106 including everything I had plus a landline. Of course this turned out to be a BLATANT lie and the actual bill is $140! I would never have agreed to this, nor is this what I agreed to over the phone. I am incredibly disappointed in Verizon for allowing such tactics and I can only hope that someone on this forum working for Verizon can help me resolve this indecent and fraudulent misrepresentation before I am forced to take further action. I appreciate any advice or help.

Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases".     Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.     I purchased an iPad 1 (in Australia where I used to live) and 5 months after the warrenty had run out it ceased to turn on. This I hasten to add, was only 1yr 5 months after purchasing it, and I think we all expect a premium product, which we pay a premium price for to work for longer then 1yr 5 months.
    This aside, I was advised my the Apple service centre in Singapore (Where I now reside) that due to the lack of warranty I would have to pay circa $450 SGD (£225) to get a "new" IPad 1. This was my only option.
    After begrudgingly parting with my money I recieved a "new" iPad with a 3 month warranty a week later (less than a week ago)
    The iPad has since stopped turning on again, having exactly the same problem as previously. I was advised by the genius at the Apple retail outlet in Isreal (where I am currently, bearing in mind there is no official Apple store in the country) that the iPad I had in my possesion was purchased in Australia a yr and 5 months ago and had no warranty. Not only had I paid $450 SGD for Apple only to fix my old iPad, I had been falsely advised that I would be recieving a new Apple product and my serial number has not been updated with the additional warranty. I feel a little cheated.
    Personaly I am dissmayed by this turn of events and feel hugely let down by Apple.
    I was going to give the iPad to my father as a present as I haven't seen him for 2 years, but it's worthless.
    Any assistance with this matter would be highly appreciated, I just want an iPad that works and a warranty period that makes sense for the amount of money I have spent on the product.

    When I refer to letter, I mean email or eletter, whatever you wish to call it, but a correspondance via email very quickly to a global high-tech technology company. This is the year 2012 after all, I would feel slight disbelief if the only way to raise this complaint would be via a real letter.
    If there is no other way, than a letter will have to suffice.

    Publish Service is nothing but making WSDL of that service available. For that you need to Publish the WSDL of the web Service to UDDI. For Non SAP system, Lik .net , Java they have there oun APIs to do so. U can search on net to get it.

    Once you discover the services, you get the WSDL of that Service. Then You can import this WSDL in IR and you it.
