Regarding x-fi fatal1ty front pa

so after flashing my mobo the OS detects what i think is the front panel, but it can't find any drivers, have tried reinnstalling the drivers from the cd but that didn't work. any solution guys?

got a geforce 7800 gt, pay no attention to the earlier post where the devicemanager picked up a new piece of hardware, turns out when i flashed the bios it activated the onboard ac97 chip, anyways, i see a red light in the optical out and when i connect e.g microphone or headset to the front i can hear a "sparkle" sound in my speakers, which is connected to the card itself, so i guess there is connection there. but neighter microphone, sound out, remote works, well i guess nothing on the front would work, tried the rca connector but no luck there eighter. when i start up the entertainment center i get an error saying "unnable to find a working ir device" or something like that.
Guess i should post my hardware.

Advice regarding using 3.5 front end AND 7.0 front end on users' machines

Hello everyone,
We are trying to determine the best way to roll out the new 7.0 front end tools. We are doing a technical upgrade to 2004s first, and later converting all the objects. Initially we plan to have both the 3.5 and 7.0 front end tools both residing on users' pcs, until we convert all objects to 04s.
Does anyone have a recommendation for rolling out the new tools to users, with out the risk of having them accidentally convert objects when they open queries (we have been told that if you open a query in the new tools, it automatically converts the objects). We need to prevent this from happening until we are ready to convert all the objects.

The most important thing is to use naming conventions (maybe a new naming convention using the new tools). Then set security up to prevent conversion depending on your scenarios. When migrating, it is recommended to be very careful around converting global elements (variables, Global Calculated Key Figures, and Global Restricted Key Figures). Within the RSZCOMPDIR table, there is a version field (greater than 100 is 2004s elements) so you can see the version there as well. It is recommended to migrate all queries within a single infoprovider together to avoid conflicts with global elements.

If choose not to install the front panel and only the sound card do i lose any funtionality other that the inputs and outputs on the front panel?will the 3D sound and all of the other high end sound functions still work?Is ribbon cable between the front panel and sound card a standard IDE cable?Thanks!

Okay, you wont lose any "Features" other than the additional connections and the card will work fine. As for the ribbon cable its a standard 40 pin ide cable but you need to make sure you get one that isnt keyed, in otherwords all 40 pins open on the cables connectors whereas many cables that are "Keyed" have one hole blocked to prevent possibly missconnecting the cableCheers

I have installed my X-Fi Fatalty with no issues except for this little software glitch. I am trying to use the front panel Mic2/Input2 and Headphones jacks on the front audio panel with my headphone/microphone headset. The headphones work great but when I ever try to use the microphone BF2 does not recognize the headset unless I drop into the Soundblaster console and select the Mic2 as the input which works but the BF2 VOIP Setup seems to change the setting back to the Microphone setting once the changes are saved it changes the input back to microphone (). Is there anyway to make this change stick?

hi ya same problem for me also when using front panel.everytime i join a game it changes it back to microphone then i have go to to desktop and change it back to min in 2 in my mixer. which is very annoying.considering we have payed a lot of money for this souncard we shouldnt be having this issue i have resulted in using the back connections now cause the mic at the back is default microphone.and so is battlefield i guess thats why it keeps changing the configuration.when i was using the front panel i had to disable voip in bf? to stop it from changing back i mainly use ts but even if you want a quick work with a squad? member who aint on ts you cant.this problem cleary needs to be sorted. i like to use the front panel cause you have the volume for mic and headphones.so using back panel you have to alt tab out to adjust your mic.so it clearly isnt compatible with bf at all .

I bought a SB X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Pro card and I can't for the life of me figure out how to connect to front panel audio!
My motherboard audio has an HD Audio connector, is there a way to enable routing the sound through that?
If I can't get the case's front?panel?working at all?then I need some kind of super long headphone wires or something!

Check your online manual (it's in the Creative folder in Start Menu).

Problems regarding my Creative Fatal1ty Pro Series Gaming Headset

I have had this headset for a while now - and I'm pretty satisfied.
After 2-3 hours of use, my mic as well as sound makes a weird noisy sound - so I can't hear anything and speak to anyone because it's so noisy - like it's the movie introduction man+alot of noise speaking, sometimes it even sounds like an airplane is taking off.
To make it stop, I have to unplug and replug the usb cable again.
I've tried on several computers, with same result - unfortunately.
Have you heard about this problem before, and is there any solution?

I have the HS-200, and that happens for me, about once a month after 00's of hours of use. When it does, I do a hard reset of the microphone using a paperclip and that gets it working again.
Although the first year I had it, I had no problems. This has been a new issue that started recently.

Your question isn't clear.
You can't get the exception in the back end using dbms_output unless you have an exception handler in the function. Then you can use dbms_output to capture the error code and message and use put_line to write it to a buffer.
It is up to the code calling the function to request the text from the buffer.
If you asking how a tool like sql*plus can get the dbms_output text then use SET SERVEROUTPUT ON and when the package function completes all DBMS_OUTPUT text will display.

Error while query execution - Query getting locked by another user execute

Hi All,
I am facing an issue ..
When I execute a query I am getting an error message ie popping as blocked by some other user. And I able to see the lock when I go to SM12. If the other user logged off or if we unlock his entry, then both the workbook and query is getting executed as expected. What can be the reason for this phenomena?
In my understanding, in the same time multiple users can execute the query /workbook. But in our case its not allowing.
Can someone suggest a resolution at the earliest, as it is affecting the reports in live environment

The Bex Analyser (Front end) Patch is 501 and the SAP BI is 15.
The error message that I am getting while executing the query is "The object requested is currently locked by user --".
When I go to SM12, I can see a lock in the user's name.

I am trring to configure logon load balancing in cluster environment.
I had created the logon group using T-Code SMLG and assigned the message server to logon group.
I am using SAP GUI 720.
In the front end system, i had added the host file entry as well as added u201Csapma<SID> 3600/tcpu201D as my CI instance number is 00.
I had created u201Csapmsg.iniu201D and put the entries as below based on sapnote 38119
Message Server
System ID 1>=<Name or IP address of message server 1>
Ex: <SID>=x.x.x.x
     <SID>=x.x.x.x
Message Server Description
<System ID 1>=<Description of message server 1>
Ex: <SID>=CI
But while selecting u201CGroup/Server Selectionu201D I am getting error   u201CError: partner x.x.x.x:sapms<SID> not reached u201C.
On the logon pad I had given the following information:

Message Server: IP address of CI package
I am not able to find the exact reason of the error and how to proceed to resolve the error.

Printing HTML documents in SAP GUI for HTML

I created an SAP Transaction iView with the transaction PR05 (Travel Expense Manager). Now I'd like to print the selected trips via the print function either in html or pdf.
I already created a pdf printer and it works fine. Is there also a possibility to print and save the output of the trips as an html doc?

Exporting reports form SAP to MS Excel file

Dear All
Our material number logic is like that having 18 digits "801062004767100001".
1. When we are exporting any std report or zreports to excel through Export to excel all the numbers are converting in to text and saving in excel file as it is displaying SAP screen.
But in SAP for all transaction not having export to excel file.
2. We have the option export to local file from there we choose "spread sheet" by this way if we export to excel the material number is displaying as "8.01062E+17"
if i convert this column as numbers excel showing " 801062004767100000" the last digit " 1" is changing as alway zero. if we manually change it to "1" excel converting it to "0"
Especially we are facing problem in SM37 after back ground job, transport in excel we have only one option point no 2.
I tried to use encode page during transport , i am not getting proper result for the material no.
Please help me , if any setting available in SAP or in EXcel.

Hi,
Not in front of the system at the moment, but when you click on Local File, there is an option called Unformatted if i am right (the first one) select that & then save it in .txt format & later open in Excel, it should maintain the formatting.
Check & revert if it solves the issue.

Is the front end freshly installed, some times all the services are not available as such you will have some icons in disable mode.

X220: Uncontrollable CPU Throttling (e.g. Civ 5)

Folks, I'm having a bit of a major issue I can't solve with my x220 (i7/6gb/160gb ssd).
It is connected to the AC, with the battery also plugged in at the same time. 99% charge.
When I play Civ 5 for any length of time, the CPU throttles down to 800mhz (8x multiplier) - which really hits performance drastically as you can imagine. CPU temp never gets above mid-70s using HWinfo32 during playing. Power Manager is configured to maximum performance.
Even when I reset the computer, the CPU doesn't throttle back up to normal speed - I have to actually shut-down and restart from cold for CPU to rethrttle back up.
I'm running bios 1.11. I really don't want to have to disable CPU power mgmt in the bios. This is kind of a deal breaker problem - no??
Any tips or guidance greatly appreciated - thanks.

Can't send email on Envy 5660 printer

Have new HP Envy 5660. Almost too sophisticated for me and small info screen requires steady hand and stylus. I tried to send an email and when I finally got my email address in it wanted a pin and I can't remember whether I ever picked one and if I did I forgot it. Don't know how to get info or change pin. If I could do it on the computer maybe I could read it. My question is how can I get a pin so I can use my email function?

I understand that you're experiencing issues with the Scan to Email feature on your new HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer as you're being prompted for a PIN that you do not have. I would like to assist you with this issue today.
How to Set Up A Scan to Email Profile:
To use the Scan to Email feature, you must first set up an email profile.
1. On the printer control panel, touch the Scan icon (), and then touch Email.
2. On the welcome screen, touch Continue.
3. Touch inside the Email: box, type in your email address, and then touch Done.
4. Touch Continue.
5. A PIN is sent to the email address you entered. Touch Continue.
6. Touch PIN, enter the PIN you received in your email, and then touch Done.
7. Touch Store Email or Auto-login, depending on how you want the printer to store your login information.
8. Select your scan type by touching Photo or Document.
9. Verify the email information, and touch Continue
10. Touch Scan to Email.
11. Touch OK when the scan completes, and then touch Yes to send another email, or No to finish.
Once Scan to Email has been set up, you can change your Scan to email account settings should you need to:
1. On the printer control panel, touch the Scan icon (), and then touch Email
2. On the control panel display, touch the account that you want to change, and then touch Modify.

The front panel can be removed. You need a special Torx T8 and a philpps screwdriver.
1. There are two torx screws on the left and the right on the front panel.
2. Look at the plastic with the sleep light which is located between the handle. There are two more torx screws. Remove them too. On the inner side you will see 4 smaller philipps screws in a row. Remove them.
3. Now you can grip the plastic of the front panel and remove it carefully.
Now you can wipe away the dark spots with alcohol - or replace it with a spare spart you've bought on ebay.
