Regarding X12 & Edifact messages

Hello Experts,
We want to send MATMAS and BOMMAT data via IDocs. For that we need the standard EDIFACT and ANSI X12 messages that correspond to MATMAS & BOMMAT IDocs to send it to non-SAP system via EDI.
Also if mappings to these IDocs with the EDI message is present, kindly let me know.
Please help asap!

although it's a long time ago concerning your question: MATMAS and BOMMAT-Idoc to an via standard EDIFACT, did you get an answer or an solution also for BOMMAT (and does the PRODAT work ?

1.When i drop the below file with segment ending 'CR, message is working fine.
for this am using this EDFACT delimeter in pipeline 0x3A, 0x2B, 0x2C, 0x3F, 0x2A, 0x27, 0x0D, 0x0A
Now I need to parse the same message with segment ending 'CRLF
So when i dropping the above message , am getting below issue.

4: Invalid Segment Terminator
i know the issues is with EDFACT delimeter value in the pipeline, can any one tell me the value to set in there?

Unable to Translate the EDIFACT messages in Oracle B2B 11g

Hello,
    I am trying to read a EDIFACT message using B2B and translate into XML. I have Created the .ecs file and also created .xsd file out of it . I imported both the definitions in B2B and created a inbound agreement. I placed an EDIFACT file and when B2B tries to read the file through listening channel it is failing to read it. I am getting below error.
B2B-51507
Error Description    Machine Info: Data parsed by flatparser cannot be validated using guideline from EDIFACT standard.
Error Level    ERROR_LEVEL_COLLABORATION
Error Severity    ERROR
Error Text    Incompatibe data and guideline.
Please guide me if i am missing any server level setting here?

Exclusive queue regarding very important message

Hi guru!!
I have one question regarding very important message in exclusive queue for async.
i wanted to find a way which is using exclusive queue for it and then let it use only this queue. anyone does know?
my scenario client java proxy to inbound abap proxy. should be used by exclusive queue for it during sending to receiving, any another message should not use this queue included xi and ecc queue.
can anyone explain me?

Hi Venjamin,
U may use one queue with ABAP Proxy or a BPM scenario.
This can be done using: Configure Filter for Queue Prioritization in transaction sxmb_adm.

For ANSI X12 standard message will I get .sda and .xsd

Hi Experts,
For standard message will I get any .xsd and .sda files for EDIFACT and ANSI X12 etc... from SAP. OR
If I get STANDARD MESSAGE only .xsd then it is required to create .sda and message type by using BIC MAPPING DESIGNER.
Please kindly help me in this regards

If you want to use the standared ones then when you buy the Seeburger adapters they will provide you. You may need to create your own sda files when you change their standard ones.

File name structure for picking up X12/EDIFACT documents from an FTP Server

According to some documents, and posts in this forum, the file name for a document retreived from an FTP server by B2B has to be in the following format: %TPName%_%X12 Doc Type%_%X12 Version_1_12345.dat
Why is this format required? Is it possible to obtain all this information for the Header Envelopes of each X12 or even EDIFACT EDI Document?

I did specify the propery oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP=Group, but I was still not getting the expected results. Now I played around for a while and now I identified the problem . When I specify the property oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP=Group, I should use the Group ID when I create the agreement so that the agreement would be identified by using group id. I think I got that working now.
I have one question on the trading partner end point URL in FILE/FTP. When I specify the endpoint URL for a trading partner would that be used to pull the document from the trading partner or push the documents to trading partner?
In my testing even though I specified the end point URL for the trading partner using FILE protocol, when I put the message in that URL ( folder), it did not pull the message from that URL ( this trading partner is the initiator for that EDI 204 message). But when I put the messages into the host partner's end point URL, it got pulled and processed successfully. I am little confused on the usage of trading partner end point URL for the FILE/FTP protocols . Could you explain me little bit or point me to a documnet where it is expalined in detail?

Manual creation of CONTRL message in BPEL for EDIFACT message

There is a requirement in which, a B2B EDI XML message is consumed by BPEL process and some business rules are applied on the EDI XML message to check if the destination and dispatcher countries are valid. At this point if there is any error, then i need to generate a CONTRL XML message, pass it back to B2B to generate CONTRL EDI message to be sent back to client.
How can I acheive this? I am facing problem during transformation of D96B to CONTRL message, like populating UCS segment and UCD segment in CONTRL message.
Can anyone pls help? Is there any easy way to implement this, like calling Business rules from B2B etc. ?

CONTROL xml is used for functional ACK, which is used for checking the syntactical correctness of the payload.
But in this case, it is a data validation
You may need to use APERAK message for the same.

Please check with acess sequence assigned to the output type, if the combination Purch. Organization and Vendor click F1 and find the table each access sequence assigned to the output type will define a new table
For example:
table -B025-Purchasing Output Determination: Doc.Type/Purch.Org/Vendor
          B026-Purchasing Output Determination: Document Type
          B987-Output Determination Training: EKO
           B027- Purchasing Output Determination: Purch. Org./Vendor for EDI

Yes instead of SIVA ..the standard delivered transaction type for VAR is SMIV in 7.1
please create a copy of SMIV to ZMIV or YMIV and then customize as per your requirement.
I would also recommend you to attend one EGI for this if possible. The EGI for this is really good and covers almost all the important queries w.r.t to this. Search SMP for EGI calendar.
In addtion, there is a new concept of business roles and sap delivered some out of box like SOLMANPRO and SOLMANREQU etc

1. what type output messages used for PO?
2. How to trigger neu type output message for particular PO?
3. How to delete neu type output message for particular PO?
4.which program or batch job will trigger message for PO and where to found that particular job or program?
5.whether it is automatically triggered or need trigger manually?
Here I have issue ,i have some PO's among them some of PO's issuing neu type message even they deleted manually earlier.
some of them are not issuing message.

Regarding Pop Up Message

Hai experts,
during sales order creation using va01 once the sales order is created and in user_exit_refresh_document user exit i am doing delivery , and then sumbitting a report for excise calculation J_1IJChk , this report is called but it throws a pop up saying that excise is completed for the delivery and when i press ok it comes out of the program, actually after i press ok then it should come back to my program for further process , how can this be acheived is there any configuration for the same or shoudl i change the standard code

the program is of standard J_1IJChk , which when success throws an information message that is creating a problem when i call in function module
so for that i coopied into a z report and changed the information message into success message and it is working fine
i could have changed the standard code but it will effect others instead i am callign a z report

Input is coming like a flat file.
can file adapter can read the above structure? may be it doesn't because, <l1> item is in 4th level of message. so adapter can't read more than 3rd levels.. is it right? Please give u r inputs.

Regarding table T006 "Message: Unit CDM is not created in language EN"

Hello Experts,
There is an issue in the T006 table.
With the SE16 transaction if I list all the unit existing in the table T006, I found the unit CDM.
If I list only the unit CDM, I have the error message : "unit CDM is not created in language EN".
If I list all the unit with EN language in the table T006A, I found the CDM unit.
How could you do to avoid this error message.

Check with tcode CUNI for definition of UOM. You need to chek the said UOM defined under Dimensions, ISO or UOM for language EN.
