hello vikram,
see following link:
Learning XI
in your integration builder -> integration repository there are several examples for learning and unterstand the basics, called "SAP Basics" (=SWC).
in that you will find namespaces like:
http://sap.com/xi/XI/Demo/Agency
http://sap.com/xi/XI/Demo/Agency2
http://sap.com/xi/XI/Demo/Airline
http://sap.com/xi/XI/System

  • Basic Scenarios :-)

    Hi XI Folks,
Can you please let me know basic scenarios and weblogs in SDN involving <b>BC ,CIDX ,HTTP ,JMS ,Mail , Marketplace , RNIf ,RNIF 11.</b>
and also what will be the prerequisites for running these scenarios ( i mean to say like for JDBC adapter we need a RDBMS on one side..)
    regards,

    Hi,
These are a list of blog s that can help you,

  • Regarding A2A & B2B Scenario development in SAP PI /XI?

    Hello Experts,
Kindly clarify my doubt regarding A2A & B2B Scenario's development in SAP PI / XI.
I mean when to use & which adapter user in which scenario & specifically what difference does it make when we use one adapter in one scenario meant for another one. Will it work?
The Question may be quite Naive to all of you but still want to clear some thing from my head.
    Best Regards
    Priyesh Shah

    Hi Inaki Vila,
Thanks for Reply, i did searched SDN before raising this question. i stumble upon this difference between A2A and B2B scenarios.but the question still remain in my head what adapters should i use for B2B scenario is it necessary that i should use EDIFACT for B2B & not for A2A. Here in my company we are handling a client which has several legacy system in landscape which are integrated to SAP ERP with SAP PI here they mostly used File Adapters, what happens if i use File Adapters for B2B scenario.

  • Suggest basic scenario to demonstarte B2B communication feature using BPEL

    Hi All,
I want to show Basic B2B communication feature using BPEL. I am new to B2B and trying to learn it.
Can anyone please suggest a simple scenario that a newbie like me can implement. Or can please send me a sample implementation with description.
It will help me a lot.
@Anuj : I am not able to download the 2nd part of the B2B document editor from the link you mentioned in you blog. Can the document editor be downloaded from edelivery....if so can you please send me the link.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jignesh.

    Hello Jignesh,
Oracle B2B samples are available here -
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/products/b2b/index.html
Are you not able to download document editor from here -
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/downloads/fmw-11-download-092893.html?ssSourceSiteId=otncn
You may download it from edelivery as well. On edelivery, select "Oracle Fusion Middleware" as product pack and windows as platform. From results select "Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Media Pack for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)" release 11.1.1.3.0 and click on next. Here search for "Document Editor" and download all four parts (edelivery has document editor in four parts)
Let us know in case you find any difficulty anywhere.

  • Doubt regarding testing Soap scenario (HTTPS)

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario where a Bapi functionality(server proxy) is exposed as a webservice .
So scenario will be SOAP -> XI -> Proxy (calls a BAPI).
I need to use https for this scenario. I have read most of the blogs and threads regarding this and will proceed accordingly.
    I have a simple doubt :
After configuring a scenario to *only* accept a Soap message with appropriate valid certificate -
If I have to test my scenario using XML spy, how can I  attach a certificate to Soap request in XML spy?
Or is their any feature available in XMl spy or in Xi itself to do these kind of test?
or please suggest me a work around to test the scenario configuration with certificates.
    Thanks in Advance!
    Regards,
    Xi Queries.

    Hi Swarup,
I would like to know :
What happens when a check for certificate validation fails in XI? It may be due to invalid certificate, expired certificate or a request from unauthorised user-
    - Will it be raised as a exception and we need to do some configuration to inform it back to Sender?
    - Will the message fail in Moni with red flag ?
    - Alerts will be created ?
Please share your experiences and expert sugestions.
    Thanks in Advance!!
    Regards,
    XI Queries.

  • Regarding Sub-contracting Scenario

    Hi Experts,
I had scenario in Sub-contracting, I’m purchasing the raw material from X vendor and send the same material to the sub-contracting vendor- Y for drilling the material. After receiving the Main Component (material) from the sub-contracting vendor- Y, we are doing the quality check. Now the material is in damaged, I want to send the damaged material to the X vendor (ie. To the purchasing vendor). How to do that?
    Regards,
    Sudhakar

    Hi Sudhakar,
    What's your opinion about this:
    1.
You received materialB from vendor 'Y'. It is damaged > you can send back the goods via MVT 122 (component materialA that is purchased from vendor 'X' will go back by MVT 544 to vendor 'Y').
    2.
Then you can book materialA in MB1B from vendor'Y' to your plant and then from your site you can make a return delivery (MVT 122 refering to the original PO / or MVT 161 w/o PO ref.) and send the goods to your vendor.
    3.
Then you can get materialA of good quality from vendor 'X' and send it to vendor 'Y' and get materialB of good quality from vendor 'Y'
This process is when the damage is due to vendor 'X'. If the damage was made by vendor 'Y' you can apply process 1 and scrap materialA from the special stock of vendor 'Y' and ask them to pay for the damaged goods (you have to negotiate how to handle this issue).
What is the real physical process? We should know it to be able to give a good hint.

  • Regarding MATMAS03 basic type

    Hi,
    I am using the segments E1MARAM,  E1MARCM, E1MAKTM and E1MARMM
of MATMAS03 basic type for creating material.
The inbound FM used is IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01.
But when I checked MM03 I can see only two views listed ( Basic data 1 and basic data 2)
What might be the problem.  Waiting for your valuable inputs.
    Regards
    Vinitha

    Hi Vinraj,
See the log, I think there would be some error messages also.
and aslo give E1MARA-VPSTA = KLVX in the idoc.
    (Basic data - K, Storage - L, Sales - V, Plant stocks - X )
Please enter the relevant letter for a view which u want to create. If we dont provide data for the view, it will give error.

  • Session corruption in very basic scenario!!!!!Please help me

    Dear All,
I am facing a problem regarding to Session expiry
I have two applications app1, app2 deployed on same server (WebLogic Server 8.1 SP3) on Windows 2000
    app1 url is http://localhost:7001/app1 (in domain domain1)
    app2 url is http://localhost:7001/app2 (in domain domain2)
well, there is facility in the form of Link to open app2 from app1 as both are the applications of the same company
I have just written complete path of second application in the target of link in app1
    String strTarget = http://localhost:7001/targetwebmodule/targetservlet;
    out.println("<a href='"+response.encodeRedirectURL(strTarget)+"' target='_blank'>Target Application</a><br><br>");
in the first page of app2, there is code to invalidate the session, as it is a login page, means if session already exist then invalidate it,
after the opening of app2, when I tried to navigate in app1, I got problem about session expiry,
Both applications are quite independent (deployed on same server at different domains), why they are mixing the session with each other
This is the problem with servlets, i tried it with simple jsps, it is still there.
    Looking for your positive response
    Best regards,
    Waseem Aslam
    [email protected]

Well, in first application there is a hyper link, on
its click a new window is opened, in its address bar
the address of the 2nd application is visible.
    String strTarget =
    http://localhost:7001/targetwebmodule/targetservlet;
    out.println("<a
    href='"+response.encodeRedirectURL(strTarget)+"'
target='_blank'>Target Application</a><br><br>");Well there goes the easy answer ;-( Sorry, don't know why.

    Hi
you can check the following things.
    1. check whether the parameters given are correct or not.
like file name , directory name etc.
2.check whether the channel is active or not in configuration..
3.second check adaters ststus in the runtimeworkbench you can check this,
go to the runtime workbench->component monitoring->display>adapter engine->communication channel monitoring check the adapter status , it will also describe about the error in the channel.
4.check whether the adapter is start or not if not start tye adapter by click on automatically.
if u still face the problem please reply me back.

  • Regarding REAL time scenarios

can any one give me real time scenario . or real need of the following scenarios...
    1. webservice to RFC
    2.HTTP to RFc
    3.file TO RFC
    4.file TO database
    looking forward for your help..

    Hi,
Real time scenario depends on requirement and client environment, some times same requirement will to with different ways, ie. source and target channels will be change.
    1. webservice to RFC
Here source is web service (SOAP) and target is R3 system, this scenario will be configure when sender can provider web service else it is not possible.  At receiver end generally will upload data through IDOC, if we want sync communication will go for RFC
    2.HTTP to RFc
This requirement is same as above but without webservice
    3.file TO RFC
This requirement will come when source data is flat file or xml file and receiver is R3 above we discussed
    4.file TO database
This requirement will come when source data is flat file or xml file and receiver is external data base like orcale, Msaccess etc databases
Find below links will help you for configuration

  • Regarding the basic function of  the *_LEXERs

We are using Oracle Text to index XML documents that contain an "abstracts" group element. Each document can contain one or more abstracts written in a different language (primarily English, French and German). Thus a single document can contain multiple languages.
We are wondering if we need to use any of the various LEXER types to deal with the different languages. My understanding of the documentation is that MULTI_LEXER or WORLD_LEXER would not be appropriate, since they work on the document level. AUTO_LEXER documentation seems vague, however... would AUTO_LEXER be able to sense language changes within a document?
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/text.111/b28304/cdatadic.htm#i1007538
Or, perhaps I needn't be concerned at all, since English, French and German are all "whitespace deliimited languages"-- If the sole function of the lexer is to parse tokens, then is there really any difference between the English lexer and the French/German lexers?
    Thanks.

    Dear Nathand,
Thanks for your answer, I tried the change and you are right. That shows that this not a standard PID, since that means (and actually I can see it now by checking inside the vi) that it is not using the derivative of the error but the derivative of the process variable. I know that this is used sometimes to prevent the effect of fast changing set-points, but it is a shame that they do not comment on it in the help, and that this is not a selectable feature. Do you know if there is a way to edit these pre-packaged vi's?
One more question, about the labview style. I included the sequences just to group terms and make the code more readable to separate the integrator from the derivator and not have a knot of entangled signals. Specially when I run the clean-up diagram, it gets very entangled. I have been looking for another way to do that (container boxes, groups). It would be nice if you could suggest me something I can do for it.
    Thanks again,
    Pablo

  • Regarding Notification(Basics)

    Hi
    consider this situation
I got a notification for some event from a Listener. So notification event was called, while notification event was still running I get a new notification for same type of event.(pressing a button)
Now will the JVM put this event in the queue and this event will be processed after the first event is finished or it will just give control to the new event aborting in the middle the processing of 1st event.
    or
    will this situation happens
I wont get a notification for event 2 until event 1 is finished.I mean will I loose
the 2nd notification because notification thread was still processing the first event.
    waiting for reply

    Hi
I am concerned about SerialPortEvents. I am listening to 2 Serial ports. My Doubt is while processing of first serial port event, if another serial port event notification happens then will win32 serial port thread would abort handling of this event and give control to handle second SerialPort event.

  • Basic BPM scenario examples

I have some doubts about configuration of BPM in Integration Directory, so I need some examples of basic scenarios. My doubts are related to which interfaces I have to assign to the bussiness component that represents the BPM (only the abstract ones or the normal ones too?), do I have to assign the channels to bussiness component or to the bussiness systems it exchange messages with?, how does that affect the route determined by receiver determination, sender/receiver agreement?...
If you could show me some links to examples where this is showed as clearly as possible (specially the part of the Integration Directory) I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.

I need some examples of basic scenarios.
Best example would be merging of two files to one. Basically a 2:1 mapping. Both files having a common node that would act as a correlation point.
My doubts are related to which interfaces I have to assign to the bussiness component that represents the BPM (only the abstract ones or the normal ones too?)
When you import the Integration process in ID all teh abstract interfaces reflect. No need to assign anything else. Only abstract when you are inside BPM. But you need to define relation between your Outbound/Inbound & respective abstract interfaces in ID.
+ do I have to assign the channels to bussiness component or to the bussiness systems it exchange messages with?, how does that affect the route determined by receiver determination, sender/receiver agreement? +
You need to have seperate channels for different business components.

  • Step by Step Guide Details for RFC to File and File to RFC scenario

    Hi Guru's
Good day to you. I am tyring to develop some scenarios based on RFC adaptor. so i want to start up with basic scenarios like RFC to File  scenario(Here i just want to pull some data from SAP using RFC and put it in destination folder as an text file) and FILE to RFC scenario (Here i just want to take some data from the file and update into SAP).
For doing these scenarios i would like to request you people to send me the step by step guide which explains me about the complete steps of configurations required to do the RFC to FILE scenario and FILE to RFC scenario.
I found some scenarios and i am in confused state. so i request you to please put your experience to help me out.
    thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi Aaron,
I don't know your scenario and your ECC and PI versions but I learned how to use ABAP Proxy more than 1 year ago with the following tutorial:
Edit--> The forum doesn't allow me to post external link, just search "ABAP Proxy Communication Scenario" in google and visit the 1st result
The way to develop ABAP Proxys has changed a little if your PI is 7.1. In the ECC side, the transaction SPROXY looks much better too if you have a recent version of the ECC.
Edited by: Marshal on Oct 8, 2009 5:08 PM
I've found that SDN Document. Maybe the scenario is not the most simple to start with ABAP Proxy but is very well documented and is for PI 7.1. The document also handles the inbound and outbound proxys
