I have been given below requirement in XI with initial mail.
EMEA BLANC/CERVINO APO to FUSION XI Interface for Sales Orders
Summary: CoPlanned and TopValue Customer Sales Orders are planned with APO and result in a Planned Order (SNP) or SO Information in a Planning Book (DP) APO that must be sent to EMEA Fusion to create Sales Orders.
Sources: EMEA rAPO SNP and rAPO BW
SNP: XI could call BAPI_POSRVAPS_GETLIST3 in SNP to retrieve information from the PREQ and format the standard ORDERS05 IDOC
DP: Planning Book and Key Figures
CoPlanned: ShipTo#, SKU, Qty, Date(Request Date)
SNP Product View. ATP Category EE for Planning Version SK01.

Target: EMEA Fusion
EMEA Fusion has created logic for receiving an IDOC and processing it.
The expected fields are:
- ship-to customer number - e1edka1
- product number - e1edp01
- quantity - e1edp01
- material available date or PGI date or Customer requested date - e1edk03
- delivery priority (?) -- e1edp01
They have given above requirement and they have asked for below questions from my side.
Provide a list of acceptable input formats and delivery options (directories) corresponding to the Adaptors XI can use?
What formats will XI accept and how does it need to be transmitted?
Can anybody give me inputs about above requirement so that i can answer above 2 questions.

So in ur requirement data will be picked from SAP system using a standard funtion module i.e BAPI and Redeiver side u have an standard IDOC ,so ur senario will be RFC-XI-IDOC where RFC will pick the data from BAPI convert into XML format and post the data in to IDOC_XML format.
U need two Adapters RFC as Sender and Receiver IDOC Adapter.

XI only under stand XML format and if u have a Flat file then u have to convert the data in XML format using Content convertion,in remaining adapters will conver the data into XML...........

Regarding Automatic requirement grouping

Hello all,
We have requirement of grouping the material requirement from different WBS elements in same project at the header WBS element. Now for doing that i have checked the checkbox in Project profile - project stock tab - Automatic requirement grouping.
Also we have maintained Project stock for the material. The Level 1 WBS in Grouping WBS element field entered 1 (For all the materials).
But still i could not generate combine PR for same material attached to different WBS element element. Please provide solution.

In network type parameters (Trx OPUV) , collective requisition to be ticked for generating single PR for all externally procured materials of the project.

If this is what you require to do then, you need to look for any Exits that will be used to feed your functionality into the Standard SAP Code. Your requirement is an enhancement to the standard SAP Code as you will navigate back to your own Module Pool Code.

Regarding system requirements for an old version - PhotoShop 4.0.

My old PS 4.0 has worked for almost 20-years on a Windows XP and NT. Both are dead now. So, when the PS 4.0 requirements say, "NT or later..." does that include modern Windows computers? I plan to keep PS 4.0 since it's all I need. I will upgrade the computer, but I'm not sure if the "or later" includes 2015 computers. As an example, 4.0 would not load on my 2008 MacBook (does not support PowerPC).

Trying to install Acrobat Pro X, error regarding IE7 requirement, client has IE10 installed

I am trying to install Acrobat Pro X on a Win7 client, and I keep getting an error after entering the serial # info about the software requiring IE7 or better to be installed. The only option is to cancel the installation. The client has IE10 installed. How do I move past this?

Thanks for the advice. I tried what you recommend - uninstall Reader (10, in this case), install and run the cleaner tool, restart, then restart the installation. Unfortunately, I get the same error.
Any other thoughts? I am logged into the client in the admin role.

The requirements depend on the operating system and the database used for the installation.
Go to http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Netweaver -> Release 04 -> Installation -> SAP Web AS -> SAP Web AS 6.40 SR1 and Related Documentation -> Choose your database (Ex: Oracle ) -> Planning and Preparation -> Select SAP Web AS ABAP for Windows.
Look at Page 37, minimum RAM is 1 GB (because XI is Unicode), ABAP system 25GB.
You should check the same for Web AS Java also.

You also need to find the how the end user will access your system. In case an end user access outside of the LAN (say via WAN or dial-up) using https, it will have additional requirements for your hardware as you will need compression enabled for improved response time for WAN. Adding compression or SSL may add additional hardware if you based your sizing based on LAN.
And also One easy approach is after you define your test case, run some load test on your QA/Staging system. Use the load test data and find out the hardware requirements based on load test. If your requirement is larger than the staging system, you may have to take a staged approach. In that case you roll-out the system to a certain number of users and monitor the system and plan for additional users based on the monitored results.

Output Requirement not Fulfilled (But output generated anyway?)

I am facing a very strange situation.
I have added a custom field to the field catalog for output determination.
The setup looks all good, the communication structure is populating the field just fine and the output gets triggered as expected.
However, when I go to the determination analysis (VF02 > Header > Output > Goto > Det. Analysis), it shows the infamous message: Output ignored (requirement 901 not fulfilled). I know you will all say that the requirements in 901 are custom and I should check with my developer, but let's skip that part:
From VOFM, my requirement 901 is a 'copy' of 062 and is as simple as below. In debug I could confirm that all checks pass.

So the issue is more around: Why is the determination analysis showing me that the output was ignored due to requirement not fulfilled if the actual output was successfully determined and processed in the document?

Regarding the Requirement checks, when I say all checks passed, I mean that every single value in the code is equal to the value it is checking against, for example:

Output requirement not being hit

We have an output requirement on an output type ZSOL but it is not hitting the requirement. I know this because I even specify that sy-subrc = 4 in the requirement (no other code) and it still creates the output type. This is on the delivery header. What else could I check? Yes the requirement is active.

Requirements not fullfilled for Condition type - Pricing Procedure

When I am doing the pricing procedure, the error thrown is "Requirements not fullfilled for Condition type". Can any one suggest how to fix this problem ?

Please first of all check the condition type in Pricing Procedure. In condition type column check the requirement. Here conditon is, once requirement is fulfilled which you have mentioned in the condition type then only it will be executed. Take a help of ABAP'er regarding this requirement if it is customized requirement.
We should know the purpose of requirement in condition type.

Requirement strategy

I have this question regarding the requirement strategy 10 and 20. Please validate if my understanding is right for these strategies.
10: make to stock. There is no consumption of the forecast with the in coming sales orders.
Is this primarily used in the retail department stores as there individual orders coming in can not impact the production?
when there is no consumption of the forecast with the sales orders then when running the snp run the receipt planned should be double as it would be considering the sales and the forecast as demands?
Is the consumption mode of any relevance here?
20: planning with the final assembly: There is consumption of the forecast with the incoming sales orders,
In this the consumption mode and the related information is pertinent?
SNP heuristics does not support the make to order strategy?

Strategy 10 --> Consumption of Forecast through a Sales Order happens on doing a Post Goods Issue. SNP run only considers Forecast for planning in this strategy and hence there is no double counting.
Strategy 20 --> Consumption mode defines the direction of consumption of Forecast from Sales Order. Planning is done by calculation of Demand which is a sum of Sales Order and Forecast. These forms of demand could be differently planned by SNP.

SRM scenario XI / PI requirements

i have a question regarding XI requirements in SRM scenarios. What are the requirements for CLASSIC, EXTENDED CLASSIC, STAND ALONE and DECOUPLED scenarios? Are there standard contents for all of them? I understand that in CLASSIC, the connection of ERP and SRM-EBP is via RFC. Can we use XI instead for the integration to be clear?

one of these would have the mappings and the other would contain service intrefaces. If you want to make any changes, copy this to a custom and make releavnt changes.

Business units info requirements

Dear FI Experts,
I am a novice. I hope you could share some information regarding information requirements of the different business units in terms of finance reports.
For example, for Marketing, what sort of finance information would ,say line managers, require operationally?
Likewise for Sales unit and manufacturing or production unit.
Would appreciate if you could let me know the broad picture.

For catering the different needs of the business units like marketing, sales units area wise geographical wise, SAP has come with COPA (Profitability Analysis), in this module u can see the required info based on your marketing segment and geographical segment or product wise.
Coming to specific report as you are saying for marketing, a line manager can generally look how much cost has been incurred in their area and how much sale has been happened and compare the Profit margin.
coming to requirement it might changing as per business therefore there wont be any specific report kind of a stuff.
Thats why using COPA u can customize your requirement as you can?

Can't Send Mail: Authentication Required.

Mail Version 2.1 (752/752.2)
I can receive e-mail, no Problem.
I can't send e-mail... I keep getting this message: Cannot send message using the server outgoing. verizon.net
The server response was: 5.7.1 Authentication Required.
I've set all my mail accounts as they should be. I've used the Connection Doctor in the Window menu and all connections incoming and outgoing are ok.

Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and under the Account information tab for your .Mac account preferences at the SMTP server selection, select the Server Settings button below.
Enter 587 in place of 25 in the Server Port field and when finished, select OK to save the changed setting.
All other settings for .Mac's SMTP server should be as follows:
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.mac.com
Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): I have this selected but isn't required.
Authentication: Password
User Name: The portion of your .Mac email address in front of the @ sign only.
Password: Your .Mac account password. The same password used to check for new messages or to login to your .Mac account via webmail access using a browser.
If changing the Server Port from 25 to 587 for .Mac's SMTP server does not work, are you accessing any other email accounts and SMTP servers with Mail and if so, are you able to send messages with any other accounts with Mail while connected to the internet at this hotel?
You should also check with the hotel's front desk or the hotel's internet service provider regarding their required settings for using an SMTP server that is outside of their network.
If you are unable to use the Mail application for sending messages, you will be forced to use webmail access to do so which is sometimes required and the benefit and primary reason for webmail access with an email account.

Good day.
May I seek your help and opinion regarding IFRS requirement please.
How do we setup create billing based on actual Good Receive by Customer?
Background :
Current setting in SAP, Billing date is EQUAL to PGI Date. It means that our sales recognition is based on Good Issue from our warehouse.
But base on local requirement and IFRS, we have to record our sales (sales recognition) based on actual good receive by customer.
So with that can you help advise how are we going to set this up in SAP? Please help.
