Regd Attachment Download...

Hi All,
We are using SAP Integrated ITS 640, basis patch level 18 . We are able to download the attachment by clicking on export button in Display PO (ME23N)transaction.When we directly try to open the attachment by clicking on the file , we are prompted for application path for opening the file type...Is there any way in integrated ITS to save it in browser temporary path and open it with application associated with file type.
Thanks & Regards
Vasu

I am able to solve myself. I looked at the below thread for solution.
Execute Excel from ITS .
Also from SAP ITS 640 Basis patch level 21 we can directly open the document.Refer to SAP Note # 1058218 .
Thanks
Vasu

  • Solution for slow attachment downloads

    I see a fair number of forum posts regarding slow Mail attachment downloads for .Mac accounts after moving to OSX 10.4.x from 10.3.x
    I had the same problem and here’s what I did to address it. Your mileage may vary.
    In Mail, crate a new account to access your .Mac mail account, but instead of connecting with the IMAP or .Mac settings, use POP.
    This change, on my system, allows attachments to download at the speed of my internet connection.
    Branwell
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    It sure would be great it that were true.  I find however its not at least on my workstation.  My workstation Processors are only 2ghz. Mixer brushes seem to be multi-threaded for I see at least half the process are active when I use a mixer brush like the round fan stiff thin bristles.  I see quite a bit activity on 12 processors.. However if I have two layers. My Canon 1D4 16MP image in 16bit color and an empty layer on top. The document is 4886x3264px.  If I use a that brush as  large mixer brush zoomed out so I'm working on all the image pixels.  The lag is painfully slow.  If Photoshop Performance setting are set to 4 cache levels and a tile size of 128k  or 1028k.   If  I zoom in to Actual pixels so I'm only working on a screen size number of pixels the lag is still bad if I use a large tip size like 50 to 60px.  If I use a small tip like 10px there is some lag but not painfully slow. Lag is bad when working on a large number of pixels and become painfully slow as brush size increases. On my windows workstation...
    I think think the only way Photoshop performance could be improved would be to work on the small image being displayed and processing the image actual pixels in the background. Then syncing the the displayed image  with the actual image when the background process become idle. Photoshop was not designed to be a Paint program.  If your a painter an artiest I would think there are better paint programs in the market place then Photoshop.

  • Disabling attachment downloads OR limiting email download size

    I have set up many email accounts but I cannot disable downloads of attachment. It shoots up my phone bill as unwanted emails with attachments are also downloaded. Is there a way of disabling attachment downloading OR downloading ONLY HEADERS OR limiting the size of each email to be downloaded (like the option available in Windows mobile phones).

    The only settings that I am aware of for the mail that would limit anything are the "load remote images" and the preview. You could use the preview to decide if you wanted to open a particular email, and there is a paperclip icon for emails that contain attachments. Wait to open them. Generally, they only download a portion of the email if it is a large one, but I don't know if this is a guarantee. If you are having issues with the amount of data you are using because of the restrictions of your account, you might want to set the email accounts to only check manually, so you can check them when you are in a wifi area, or turn off the accounts that are not really necessary.

  • Controlling Attachment Downloads

    Happy New Year,
    On IOS attachment downloads in mail can really chew up a cellular data plans - so is there a way to tell mail not to download attachments largere than XXX size when on CELL signal but OK with wifi?
    If apple mail doesn't do it - is there another app that can?

    There is no such option/setting on an iPhone to determine this. Whether you can view the attachment has more to do with your connection, WiFi or cellular, and the size of the attachment than anything else. There will be a paperclip indicating the message includes an attachment regardless if downloaded with the message or not. When connected to the cellular network, if an attachment is below a designated size the attachment will be downloaded automatically. If over a certain size, you must select the attached file icon in the body of the message to download the attachment. The size limit varies by carrier/provider.

  • PO header attachment download and upload

    Hi All,
    I have requirement to download the attachments attached at Purchase Orders(PO) header level . And then from the downloaded file , I further want to upload it to another target system.
    I have already uploaded the PO at target system but header level attachments were missed out.
    My source and target system is in Ver 4.6C
    Please let me know -
    1. All tables that are involved in storing the attachments at header level for purchase orders.With this I can upload attachments directly to the target system tables.
    2.Any Function module for download and upload the attachments of PO at header level.
    I will appreciate any help to do this .
    Thanks
    Deepak

    Hi ,
    Thanks for suggestion.I Have used FM SO_ATTACHMENT_INSERT to insert Attachment. SOOD table is getting updated. But still PO header level attachment is missing. I think FM only update the table SOOD and do not ensure to put the attachment to the right Purchase order.
    Please let me know if you have an Idea how to put attachments to PO header level.Let me know tables that can be directly updated in order to attach the attachment to PO header level.
    Thanks

  • Attachment Downloading in Mail - How do you know the status of the download

    Hi,
    I'm trying to send a keynote presentation from my iMac to my MacBook and it doesn't seem to be working. The attachment shows up in my email, I click on it, and it doesn't really do anything. Is there a way to check the status of the download, or clear all the downloads for mail? I think it's just the size of the file, because pages files work, and even very small keynote files, but not a 3 slide keynote presentation.
    Any help with this would be much appreciated.
    Brandon

    Hi Brandon
    If you want to know quite a lot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LAN
    In short a Local Area Network is your network at home. Both your computers are somehow conncted to the internet. Most people don't want to afford seperate internet lines for each computer they own, so they build a LAN.
    Many internet providers will give you a modem with more than one network port so you can plug in more than one computers. If there's only one port, most people connect a router to get more ports. If you have wireless at home, you also have a LAN.
    Now to the better options: On both copmuters: Go to system preferences > Sharing. Enable File Sharing. To learn more about it, just click on the question mark button at the lower right.
    After you did this, open a Finder window. In the sidebar there will be a new item: Shared. If you open the triangle you'll see the computer name of your other computer. This can take a few seconds to show up.
    Now you just place the files you want to share in your Public folder so the other Mac can access it.

  • On Demand attachment download issue in SAP Work Manager 6.0

    We are using SAP Work Manager 6.0 app with SMP 2.3. System is configured to download attachments for external DMS using this document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/90087094-ddad-3110-cdab-e6dbc1a12e45?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true&59236188953046
    While we tried to download the attachment, the download request was sent to SAP
    We checked through Push Instance monitor in Syclo Admin panel, a push request was there for scenario ID SM60_DMS_DOCUMENT_PUSH with status PROCESS. Status was set to NEW under Subscriber view tab of this push request.
    We checked following things:
    1. Push was enabled for Agentry Server in JavaBE.ini
    2.  Port 8282 was maintained in outbound trigger settings & in Agentry.ini configurations. This port is only used by Agentry Server.
    3. SCC displays the error for the WorkManager application as XFailedToSendResponse: 9,1,16, smp_mobile

  • File attachment download problem with Chrome

    hi,
    I've been searching for a cure to this problem for days without success. Hopefully someone here will help me fix this annoying problem.
    The problem:
    1. First: When using Chrome (lastest as of today) to open an attachment in emails, Chrome
    always saves the file as download.xyz where xyz is the extension.
    2. Second: Sometimes it saves the file extension correctly, sometimes it just changes to something else like htm, ashx,... where the correct extension should be .doc or .xls.
    I find this only happen with MS Office attachment files. Other browsers like Firefox, IE work just fine.
    What is the problem and possible solution/work around for this?
    We are using MS Exchange 2010 btw.
    Thank you

    Hi Trung,
    Try disabling plug-ins in Chrome and see if it works, if works you can pin-point out the exact plug-in causing the issue.
    Type this in the chrome browser's address bar:
    about:plugins
    Reference:
    Chrome: Attachments save as attachment.ashx and a number

  • Mime-type tag in web.xml and attachment download

    i have set a mime-type in web.xml as below:
    <mime-mapping>
         <extension>xls</extension>
         <mime-type>application/vnd.ms-excel</mime-type>
    </mime-mapping>
    And i have a simple jsp that only shows a table and i am making this jsp to get downloaded as an excel attachment. To make it possible i have written the following line in the JSP:
    response.setHeader( "content-disposition", "attachment; filename=myexcel.xls" );
    But i am not setting the content type first by writing:
    response.setContentType( "application/vnd.ms-excel" );
    since i have already mentioned the appropriate mime-type for excel files in web.xml.
    I am using both mozilla and IE. Both are showing file download dialog. But IE is able to correctly identify the type of the attachment and opens it up with Microsoft Excel whereas mozilla fails to identify the type, assumes it to be an HTML document and opens it up in a new window of IE.
    mozilla works fine only when i set the content type in the JSP itself. But IE works in all conditions even without having the mime-type tag in web.xml.
    If i have already specified the mime-type for particular type of file in web.xml, is there any requirement to set the content type again in the JSP/servlet?
    Please help. I even changed the mime-type for .xls (excel) files in web.xml and made it text/plain, but still the same thing is happening. IE is always showing the correct file type where as mozilla is taking it as an HTML document.
    i am using weblogic server 8.1.

    the web xml mime type setting are for static files served by the server...
    if you print a file directly to the output of the servlet, you must set the mime type, so DO write :
    response.setContentType( "application/vnd.ms-excel" );
    IE "works fine" because it also uses the file extension to decide the mime type... but in the absolute, it's a wrong behaviour

  • Email attachment download shows "invalid menu handle"

    I click on an email attachment, the download box appears in top left corner and starts downloading then a rectangular box appears in middle of screen saying "invalid menu handle" and download won't open.

    Not the same thing. Google "Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility". The first hit will be what you need (on the Microsoft site).

  • Email Attachment Download

    Whenever I try to download an attachment to an email the download process freezes up.  This has also happened when I tried to download a video from a respected site.  It ran for 30 minutes and froze at time remaining 1 sec.  Any help in understanding this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Are you certain your PC is not infected with a virus or some malaware?  Have you run these programs to clean your system?  You may also want to clean out your temp files, cookies, history, etc.  See if that helps.  Also which browser are you using when these issues occur?

  • E66 .wav file attachment download

    On the E51 and E65 when an email attachment that is a .wav file was downloaded, the phone would allow playback immediately without saving or any other action. On the E66 as with the N95 the file comes up with the attachment but will not allow it to be immediately played. The only way that I have been able to figure out playing the attachemtn is to save it to the phone internally in "sound clips". I must then go to sound clips and play the file from there after downloading and saving. There must be a better wa to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Attachment download link

    What is the best way to have a download link on a page? I searched for this topic and found a few posts that used h:commandLink. A backing-bean method gets invoked with code something like as follows.
          FacesContext facesContext =  FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
          HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)facesContext.getExternalContext().getResponse();
          response.setHeader("Content-disposition", "attachment; filename=test.txt");
          byte[] bary = .. // get the byte contents
          response.setContentLength(bary.length);
          response.setContentType("application/x-download");
          ServletOutputStream sout = response.getOutputStream();
          sout.write(bary);
          facesContext.responseComplete(); This works except for the problem that after this action other unrelated command buttons on the form invoke the file download again. Some sort of confused state machine that has also been talked about in the couple of posts but without any solutions.
    Help! I'm using the latest 1.1_01..

    Do not use commandLinks, use commandButtons instead.
    You can easily make them appear like a normal link using css.
    Thats the easiest way to solve that problem!

    Thomas

  • Attachment Download Problem

    I use FIREFOX as my default browser for years. Yahoo is my main e-Mail, yet use Hotmail too. For 2 days now, I can not download any attachments (PDF, JPG, DOC, MPEG ect.) from any of my Yahoo accounts. If I forward the same mail to my Hotmail account, open it on FIREFOX, I can perfectly download the same attachment I couldn't from Yahoo.

  • E63 EMAIL ATTACHMENT DOWNLOAD

    Hi,
    How can I download the email attachments(nokia messaging mail) in my device directly to memory card?
    Nokia E63-1, RM-437, 510.21.010
    Nokia C5-00.2,RM-745,091.002
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    When you open the email, you see the attachment listed with the other headers, right?
    1) Highlight and select the attachment.  The screen should clear and list only the attachment(s).
    2) Select the attachment again, and it should download to the phone (or Options -> Download).
    3) Select Options -> Save, and choose the memory card.
    I used to carry an E71 (very similar phone), but had to do a few web searches to jog my memory.  Does that help, or where does your experience differ?  Weird attachment formats might still give you trouble...
