Regd Integrated ITS object services

Hi all,
I am using SAP Integrated ITS based on ECC 5.0 system. Everything is working fine except when i access object services in transaction me23n from portal.. In me23n transaction i have generic object service icon . If i click the object service icon in the portal, it is not displaying the object service toolbar and it is only refreshing the page . Could any one help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks Edgar i resolved the issue after applying the correction . Now i am facing another problem when i click on create attachment in menu..the page is hanging with the message "please wait...." but nothing is happening after that...

Regd Integrated ITS passing parameter

Hi ,
We are using Integrated ITS 6.40 . SAP Basis support pack is 18. We are facing difficulty in passing parameters from Portal IAC iView through application parameter property to ITS 6.40. I have given the screenfield name in the application parameter with the default value but when IAC iView is opened, it is showing the transaction without the value i have passed for that screen field. Can anyone help me on this.

How to add buisness system in Integration directory -objects

Hi All,
I created the technical systems and buisness systems. then in the integration directory, i want to check whether my business system exixts are not.
so in the integration directory,
objects--->service without party >buisness system>
in the buisness system , whatever buisness system i created the is not found.
how to add buisness system into integration directory -- objects.

go to integration directory,
objects--->service without party >buisness system>
select the BS -> Right click the BS -> it show the number of BS select your business system and assign them next save.
If the your business system if it's not appear go to Environment menu -> Clear SLD Data cahce.
and do the same process again..

Logoff error with Integrated ITS

We are receiving the following error message (on a new web page) when trying to logoff of SRM using the Integrated ITS.
Service Unavailable
The proxy is currently unable to handle the request due to a (possibly) temporary error. Extended error information is:
Failed to forward the request to the web server at sap.corp:1000000. This may be due to a firewall configuration error or a DNS failure.
If this situation persists, please contact your firewall administrator.
Any idea on how to resolve this issue?

Check if You have an '~exiturl' parameter provided for this page.
~exiturl should be look like this:
"~exiturl http://<your_host>/scripts/wgate/bbpstart!"

Icon (mime objects) not getting displayed in Integrated ITS

Hi all,
We have activated integrated ITS. Created service in SICF but the ICONS of Buttons are not shown. Also we cannot click any button to start the action.

If you have the icon of theme 99 in the SE80 Internet Service and your icon name is square.gif, and your service name is ZSERVICE, the call are:

Hi,
I am looking for the complete list of service parameters for Integrated ITS, with explanation about each of them. Ex: ~command, ~sap-user etc. I have tried searching in help.sap.com and in this forum and SDN blogs. I could find only some of them. I am not looking for anything particular right now. If I have the complete list it would help me to refer the list if I need any one in particular.
I would really appreciate if anybody can help me in this search.

Difference: Integrated ITS service or BSP au00B4t runtime

Dear all,
can someone tell me what is the difference between a BSP application and an application that is running as a integrated ITS service.
For sure there are difference at design time (ITS service can be generated out of dynpros) but is there a difference between the two technologies at runtime (e.g. performance?)

MimeURL with images not functions properly on Integrated ITS

Hi all,
I'm new in ITS and I'm working on Integrated ITS (SAP ECC 6.0). I have to substitute some gif images on HTML template of a customer internet service (on SE80).
I have pointing on the folder:
YYWEB
-Topic 99
-IMAGE
A.GIF
and I create new MIME object B.GIF (under IMAGE folder) I save and publish it.
Into HTML template I have found this code (that's work fine):
<TD background="`mimeURL(~name="/image/a.gif")`" height=32 > </TD>
and I changed in:
<TD background="`mimeURL(~name="/image/b.gif")`" height=32 > </TD>
But nothing is appearing on the browser in place of the B.GIF image.
Any clues?

Perhaps try clearing the Browser Cache and the Integrated ITS Template and MIME Cache using transaction: SITSPMON -> "Template & MIME Cache"
If "B.GIF" is still not shown - use a HTTP sniffer like HTTPWatch to see if the template is ref the correct MIME in the View Source of the HTML page.

Integrated ITS 6.40 - Connect to SAP R/3 4.6 C

here first the tecnical details as required :
SAP-BW 3.5 SP 15
SAP R/3 46C
Web browser IE 6
Integrated ITS release 6.40 Kernel patch level 105
I am trying to establish the ITS connection in order to be able to jump from Web reports to a specific CO transaction in SAP R/3. Given my poor technical knowledge, it is not working but I have already made the following check and settings.
- in SICF, I have activated the service 'WEbgui' following the path SAP/BC/GUI/SAP/ITS.
- I have made sure in the profile of the instance that both parameters 'itsp/enable' & 'em/global_area_MB' were properly maintained.
But it is unclear to me how to maintain the entry in table TWPURLSVR. What I have done so far is the following :
- logical system corresponding to the target client in SAP R/3
- Web server of the BW instance /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
- Web protocol : HTTP
- GUI start server of the target client in SAP R/3
When trying to make the jump from a Web report, I get the following error message stating :"http://host:port/scripts/wgate/webgui/! call was terminated because corresponding service not available."
Any help would be appreciated (and rewarded)

you can call a transaction of BW system using the integrated ITS.
for ex. for Txn SE38 it will be
http://host.domain.com:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?~transaction=se38
but from BW system's integrated ITS you cannot call a transaction of your R/3 system (which is on 4.6C)
if you want to call a transaction of R/3 system from your BW query you have to have a standalone ITS installed. (yes separate server).

Log off problem in integrated ITS

Hi,
our cancel button for ending the application with an external ITS works fine and the exitURL which is deposit in the service file will be shown.
But with an integrated ITS it doesn't work. I know that this exitURL doesn't work in an integrated ITS.
So I left a redirect URL in the SICF > ErrorPages > Log Off Page > Redirected URL
but nothing happens after clicking the cancel button. The browser works and works but the old screen is still seen. What's wrong? Why the page will not be redirected to given Url?
Can anybody help me?
This works:
wgateURL(~command="logoff", ~exitURL="http://www.sap.com")
but we need a standard exit like described above and I think the way above should be right.

HTML Templates in integrated ITS

Hi,
I am using certain ITS services in integrated ITS. However, their look and feel is like WebGUI. For two of the services, there are HTML templates defined but still their look and feel is like WebGUI. If I do not definr ~GENERATEDYNPRO = 1, then I get an internal error. If I use this parameter, then the look and feel is SAP like.
Any pointers?

can you re-publish service again on your ITS and re-start ITS server and test this.

Integrated ITS on SRM:Login Page Problem

Hello All,
   I am working on SRM 4.0 with Internal ITS.I have done all the required settings for Internal ITS.I am able to get the login page but when I enter the user Id and password of my SRM system,It shows the erroe that "Incorrect SSO configuration on this server ".
   I have checked the transaction RZ11 on SRM Server for the parameter login/accept_sso2_ticket.It is set to value 0.
   Can anyone tell me what extra settings are to be done for the Integrated ITS?Please help.

Hi Raja,
   I have changed the default language in the system settings for the service BBPSTART as English.Also I have made the following changes for the same service :-
1>Changed the Logon procedure to "Alternative Logon procedure " and in that I have removed "SSO Authentication".
2>In system Logon Configuration,I have changed the default client and language.
3>In service data,I have changed the Basic authentication from Standard r/3 User to "Internet User".
After doing the above changes,I have republished the service.
Now i am getting the Login Page(in language English) but with the message "SSO cannot be used for logon To continue, choose "Logon". A dialog box appears, where you can enter your user and password. This server does not support HTTPS! It is therefore potentially unsafe to send your password ".
After that when I enter the ID and Pwd,I get the same Login screen(USER,PWD,CLIENT,LANGUAGE AND ACCESIBILITY Labels) but this time below there is the message "Inocrrect SSO configuration on this server".
Please tell me the exact changes so that I can login to the homepage.
Also to avoid the Login page,I have tried entering the Login Details in anynomous Logon data,but then I directly get the Homepage with the Menu on the Left hand Side and when I click on any of the items,I get the screen with the following text:-
SSO is not active in system
To continue, choose "Logon". A dialog box appears, where you can enter your user and password.
This server does not support HTTPS! It is therefore potentially unsafe to send your password

Object Services - How to loop at a table ' osreftab ' ?

I'm try to transform a table selected via object services (transaction service) to a table with type VRM_VALUES (the one necessary to fill selection screen listbox parameters).
So, i have a table with type 'osreftab' and i need to loop it accessing the attributes of its lines (which i just know at runtime). How can i proceed with this? Below is what i'm trying..
* (This is a method of a global class which pretends to transform a variable 'osreftab' into a variable 'vrm_values').
DATA: l_wa_value TYPE VRM_VALUE,
l_i_values TYPE VRM_VALUES.
DATA: l_o_tax_code TYPE OSREF.
* im_tax_codes type is osreftab
LOOP AT im_tax_codes INTO l_o_tax_code.
*l_wa_value-KEY = l_o_tax_code->?
*l_wa_value-text = l_o_tax_code->?
APPEND l_wa_value TO l_i_values.

You can't cast b/w data reference which l_tax is and object reference which l_o_tax_code is.
osref is a generic object type and you store a reference to some object in it, right? So the question is: what kind of object you store there? Please note - this must be an object reference , not data reference .
i.e

"now osref holds reference to object, you can deference it

OSREFTAB is just a table whose line is of type OSREF (so can hold multiple object references - one in each line).

How to change Webgui theme in integrated ITS 640

My system is ECC5,the Package level it SAPKGPRC05,SAPKB64015,SAPKA64015,SAPKH500010.
now, I configure integrated ITS with T-code SICF .
I create a external aliases "/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui" ,aAfter that I can connect to the
ITS with the following URLs:
http://<AppServer><domain>:<port>//sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
But now ,I have some problem cannot solve as follow:
1 When I logon ITS, the default language is English ,only English and Genman may be
selected,The requirement is that I want to use other language as the default logon language.
When I on the pop-up dialog box "Change External Alias" tab " Service data" ,"Anymous Logon
Data "select a Language "Chinese",the system pop-up a message box show "code page not
supported".how can i configure the default logon language ?
2 I hope use "https"-- Security Reqiurements ,as a security link ,so I selected "SSL",aAfter
that I can connect to the ITS with the following URLs:
https://<AppServer><domain>:<port>//sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
IE show cannot find the web system .
And use the following urls:

Hope this Information is useful.
The SAP Integrated ITS only supports the new "Tradeshow" design (unlike the "standalone" ITS which also supports the well-known EnjoySAP design). The new design is more easily incorporated into the Enterprise Portal and is better adapted to the design of other SAP Web UI technologies (BSP, WebDynpro).
There are also changes to the header area in SAP integrated ITS in Tradeshow: The menu bar and standard toolbar functions are collected on either side of the transaction code field in the buttons "Menu" (on the left) and "System" (on the right). The application toolbar elements are then displayed to the right. Instead of symbols, the system displays the text description. If there is insufficient space to display all buttons, you can display the other elements by choosing the "More" button to the right of the screen.
Exceptions:
In Release 6.40 (NetWeaver 2004) , the new design is only available for the Internet Explorer. As of Release 7.00 (NetWeaver 2004s), it is also available for Firefox and Mozilla Browser. For this reason, the Enjoy design continues to be supported for Mozilla and Firefox in Release 6.40 (but only for these browsers, and even then only for this design, and not Tradeshow).
Furthermore, in Release 6.40, there are some Internet Application Components (that is, Web applications that build on the ITS), which continue to be displayed with the "Enjoy" design. Of course, the "Enjoy" design continues to be supported for these applications.
You can use SITSPMON Transaction to monitor the integrated ITS.

Stack overflow error when connecting to SRM with integrated ITS

When I try to connect to SRM Server through Integrated ITS, it is giving me the error "Stack overview, giSAPWP is null or not an object. Kindly let me know how to resolve the error.

Are you running with Portal ?
If yes, could you confirm the following point :
- portal and ITS of the SRM system run under the same protocol (both under http or https, ELSE it is not possible),
- portal and ITS of the SRM system are in the same domain
