Regd Review Page Personalization

HI ,
We are using the Contingent Worker Placement Process. In this flow, we have added couple of new pages and new items in the flow.
We are able to succssfully see all those values i nthe respective pages, Now we wanna show thes values in the review page. We have made a new region in JDEV with these values. Also created a stack layout region through personalization in the ReviewPG under ReviewTableRN.
But we are not able to see this region in the REview PG. The rendered property for this region is true.
But i guess the review region displays the regions based on the activities it has in the flow or so where it marks review region yes.
Please help me on making this region available.

Instead of creating stacklayout region under ReviewTableRN, create it parallel to ReviewTableRN and try.

Personalization: Adding Items in the Review Page

Hi,
I have successfully added items in the previous page (Employment Type) before the review page. I was able to submit it and see the changes in APPS.
Right now, whenever I reach the review page and I did some changes with my newly added items, these items are, naturally, not displayed in the Review Page. I thought it will be as simple as creating items in the Review Page (thru Personalization, of course) but I couldn't add the current and proposed value. Couldn't even display the static texts properly in the Review Page.
So how can I add items in the Review Page?? I tried using the same view attribute and view instance but it didn't give me any value.
I'm still new with OAF personalization so any recommendations on books to read are welcome.

From your description, my understanding is that you want to show the number of unread mails on the home page of SharePoint.

ITunes will not open on my iPod touch - jumps to App Store review page

When I open iTunes on my 8gb iPod touch, it starts to load (you can see the 'music', 'video' 'search' etc options at the bottom) but before anything actually loads, the screen closes, and then re-opens always on an Angry Birds review page in the App Store. I can navigate away from this page to other areas in the Apps Store, but it is always the same when i try to launch iTunes.
I have double checked my iTunes on my computer (PC - running XP)and i am running 9.2.1.5 so i believe i am up to date. I can sync no problem on my computer and can see everything in iTunes when i'm connected to it. Oh, and iTunes tells me my iPod software is up to date.
I am hoping there is something i can try before having to revert back to factory settings. I have only had the iPod about 2 weeks. And i have tried shutting it off, turning it on, etc.

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Right Click,Context Menu problem in Page Personalize

Hi All,
I am using EP6.40 and SP 13. When I right click on portal content, showing context menu. I entered into Page Personalize page by clicking options icon(Right-top corner of the page)-> personalize, a pop up window opened. In there, When I right click on a folder in portal content, it opens browsers context menu.
And also I am getting a java script error like 'Object expected'. How can I solve this..?.Please help me.

Unable to display SSHR Review Page when I click on a URL in a Notification

Hi,
We have a requirement to display the Review Page of the Employee Self Service Manage Payroll Payments function in a notification. I have copied the original seeded workflow process and added the notification step. However, when the notification is generated and the link to view the Review page is clicked, we are receiving an error. Why is this? Is this a bug? We have defined the function and workflow attributes correctly.
The message has an attribute called 'Click here to view bank account details'. That attribute has a value of :

No, that was not the answer. Yes I had a space in the URL, but when I removed the space I still get the same error:

Page Personalize in Web Page Composer

Hi All,
In the Portal, when we goto Page personalize on a particular page, the end user can the able to arrange the iViews based on his interest. So it won't affect anyone in Portal. Will it be possible in Web Page Composer? or Is there any option to enable that for the particular web page in WPC?

Hi Venkatesh,
your requested scenario is not possible in the web page composer context. Once you publish a page, an output.xml file per page is generated that is rendered as HTML. It is not rendered as portal page where you can do some kind of personalization.

SPEL Review Page - not working at row level

I have searched the forum for "review page" and "SPEL" try to find solutions and tryed the techniques, but still not working.
This is what I am trying to do Display Employee details ( empno,sal,comm,deptno) I wanted to display edit icon only when deptno=10 otherwise not.as mentioned in one of the threads i have added a column decode(deptno,10,1,0) DispEdit and set the rendered property of that edit icon/item. Wrote the code necessary to return TRUE or FALSE,
I think its setting rendered property based on the first record, not changing based on each record.
currently based on the first record and how I put the logic its 1. Displays the column/edit icon 2. Does not display the column.so it this statement right?
Please help.

I have set the rendered property to ${oa.viewobjectname.columnname}
which is same as u mentioned I guess. It is working based on the first row fetched but not based on each rows value.
As per Ramkumar in the below thread , SPEL does not work at row level is it TRUE can anypne confirm?

Anyway, as My plan was to use the logic to build review page ( to show Blue dot if old value is not equals to new value) , I have planned to replace SPEL with oracle SQL logic I wrote a sql which returns something like this, I could not find any better alternates ( wrost one was to create 7 VO's (bcaz i have 7 columns to disp) and apply SPEL there)
Select 'Empno' column, AEmpno Current,Bempno Proposed,decode( a.empno,b.empno,'','*') from xxx_v
union

How to implement Review Page functionality

Hi,
I developed one custom Page, In that page user will enter data and click on Submit.
Requirement is before submitting, user needs review the data and click on submit.

So far I have noticed that the best idea will be to recreate and code by
myself. As You probably know each SSHR function ends with review page that shows the changes I just want the same.
So problem that I have is, I need to implement Dynamic Approvals so the
employee should be able to see who is going to approve and add approvers if
neccessary. And I cannot find any information on how to code that.
I jsut want the same functionality as in standard modules.

Disable Self-service Personal to No
FND%Diagon% to yes
Once you are going for personlization, you would be getting personlize Page link.
Click personlize page link
Select Scope
select complete Radio Button
select Create Item Icon for a region(table)

Advanced Table values in the review page.

Hi Everyone,
Can you please suggest how i can view all the values of the advanced table in the Review page? User can add any number of lines in the advanced table. So basically whats the procedure to show all those values in the review page? To show all the other items of the linen the review page, i created messageStyleText items in the review page and getting the values from the other page.

As my understanding , you are going with Advanced table for a review page. As this review page you need readonly for row of Adv table.
For this set readonly property true either by programatically or Declaretically for item of table. table will show all rows base on VO Object.

Error on review page - getRegionCodes Exception :null

Hi,
We are developing a custom transaction having multiple pages before the final review page. On navigating to review page – I get following error
"getRegionCodes Exception :null"
Details:
In the seeded review page, there’s one seeded review region (ReviewRN), and in this we have added our custom region - which shows the data entered by the user. This region should be displayed when the user navigates to the review page.
Since it is a single transaction, even though we have multiple pages (Workflow nodes), we have coded to make sure we use only one transaction step id. The activity_id for the first node gets saved in the temporary transaction tables
Could someone please help?

this seems a custom error exception, i would ask to put SOP's in ur Co and trace the flow to know where error is occuring.

Hiding FYI Category from Approval Region in Review Page of SSHR

Hi,
Has anyone tried to show only the Approvers list and not the FYI list in the Approvers region of the review page in Self Service HRMS. We want the FYI to be sent, so AME has been configured for that. However we don't want the FYI list to be displayed in the review page.
Will appreciate any inputs on how to achieve this.

App store review page:billing add-country : i choose SL (Selangor). Error message: pls enter at most 3 letter or number for country. But there all is 2 letter. Cannot type ourself, all is preset. so can't create a review

Please enter at most 3 letters or numbers. Two letters is fine with that instruction.

Review Page old and new values

Hello everyone,
In the review page of my custom page, along with the existing details, i also want to display the old values(default values when the page opened). I know we can do this by saving the existing values in the session variables but i was just wondering if there is any other way to do that as we have this wonderful feature of ViewObject in OAFramework.

Hi,
Try the following, it might help,
Create two ViewObject Instances(like VO1, VO2)
When you load the page, execute both the VOs and get the existing values,
But associate your page items to only VO2,
After updating the values, check the values in VO1,
This should be your existing values.

Quickest way to an installed app's review page?

On an ipad/iphone, I go to the app store, click on the "purchased" tab, and then search in the purchased apps, then I can click on the app and enter a review.
This is inefficient. Sometimes it doesn't work because the name of the app displayed on the ipad screen may be abbreviated, and unless I can figure out the full name, searching for the abbreviated name doesn't work.
There ought to be a way to go to the review page without having to do a search.

I'm glad Mrhelper was able to shed some light on this for you! In iPhones, the amount of data you're seeing under each app is for the "Current Period." Just above that list you'll see info about the Current Period and Current Period Roaming. This is just an overall snapshot of total data usage for that period of time. The Current Period does not reset on its own, so it will be counting everything from the last time you reset it through now. You can reset it by scrolling to the bottom and tapping on "Reset Statistics."
So, for example, if you reset your statistics 3 days ago and then there's 1GB used under App Store you'll know that over the last 3 days 1 GB of data has been used for the App Store.
