I want to re-activate Acrobat Pro version 7 which I have installed again on a new computer. I also wish to register the product again. I know it's old but it still works well!

Since you have a new machine, two parts will likely not be installed: the print driver and AcroTray.exe. These are two important files in the operation of Acrobat 7. A workaround is to install another PS print driver (maybe from Adobe or one of the HP color PS drivers). Set the port to File and change the name to Adobe PDF (or was it still Acrobat Distiller with AA7?). The process with be to print to a file that is a PS file. Once printed, open the file in Distiller to complete the PDF creation.
I forgot to mention that the activation server for AA7 has been taken down (I have no idea why). To install AA7 that requires activation, you have to use a new download version that Adobe has online, at the following site I think http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l. This latter is what TSN has suggested.

Since AA X is not longer being distributed, it is likely Adobe will tell you to contact the Amazon site where you got the product. Hopefully you did not get a scam purchase.
You will need the SN (hope that came with the purchase) and then you just install AA X. As part of the installation process you should be asked for the SN and also be asked to contact Adobe for activation. The activation is a menu item I think. On my AA XI, there is a deactivate option under the help menu -- I just don't remember back to the details of the activation process, but it was rather straight forward. Maybe you have an activation option under HELP if you can get that far.

You would get the redemption code, or perhaps even the serial number, from whomever you purchased the software from, apparently Amazon, so talk to them. This wouldn’t be the first time they’ve sold something that didn’t have all the numbers needed to license it.
A redemption code is something that is usually on the inner disc packaging if you purchase the media in a box, and there is a barcode on the outside of the packaging that must be scanned at the checkout register to activate the hidden inner code so you can redeem it at home on that website. This is what happens if you buy PSE from a brick-and-mortar store like Best Buy. I don’t’ know what happens if you purchase the downloaded version as I have never done that.
A redemption code is 24-digits of letters and numbers that you enter into a website to get a serial number, once and only once. The serial number of only 24-digits, no letters, is what you enter into the software during the install or when you run it and it asks if you want to register or run in a trial mode—whatever the exact phrasing is.
In any case it sounds like you don’t have either a redemption code or serial number—although perhaps something is listed on the purchase confirmation or your account online at Amazon or even in an e-mail from Amazon.

had adobe acrobat 8 installed on windows xp, then unistalled it and installed it on windows 7. did not deactivate on windows xp. then i installed on windows xp again but im not able to register now, let alone trying to deactivate.

The deactivation option can be accessed under the 'Help' menu of Acrobat.
If you are able to install and activate Acrobat 8 on Windows 7 then you need not try to deactivate on Windows Xp.
A retail license is good to be used on 2 computers.

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Computer with CS6 Died on one of two computers. I need to install and activate CS6 Web Premium on another computer. How can I activate it on new computer?

I have Adobe Creative Suite CS6 installed on two computers. One of the two computers experienced a catastrophic failure. The hard drive is damaged and the computer will not boot. So now I only have access to CS6 on one computer. I would like to install CS6 on a new computer so that I have two working computers each with an installation of CS6. How do I do this and activate both installations? I tried calling Adobe but the only number I have to troubleshoot problems is for Creative Cloud problems only. Any way to contact a live person at Adobe would be appreciated. Any other solutions would also be appreciated..

Get back the Data mart status in ODS and activate the delta update.

I got a problem when deleting the requests in ODS.
actually there is Cube(1st level. it gets loaded from an ODS(2nd level). this gets loaded from 3 ODS'S( 3rd level). we were willing to delete recents requests from all the data tardets and reload from PSA. but while delting in the request in ODS(2nd level), it has displayed a window, showing as follows.
- the request 132185 already retrived by the data target BP4CLT612.
-Delta update in BP4CLT612 must be deactivated before deleting the request.
- Do you want to deactivate the delta update in data target BP4CLT612.
I have clicked on execute changes in the window. it has removed the data mart status for all the request which i have not deleted.
in the same it happened inthe 3 ODS's(3rd level).
I got clear that if we load further data from source system. it will load all the records from starting.
so to avoid this can any body help me how to reset the Data mart status and activate the delta update.

U have to make the requests RED in cube and back them out from cube,before u can go for request deletions from the base targets(from which cube gets data).
Then u have to reset data mart status for the requests in your 'L2 ODS' before u can delete requests from ODS.
Here I think u tried to delete without resetting data mart status which has upset the delta sequence.
To correct this..
To L2 ODS,do an init without data transfer from below 3 ODS's after removing init request from scheduler menu in init infopackage.
Do similar from L2 ODS to Cube.
then reconstruct the deleted request in ODS.It will not show the tick mark in ODS.Do delta load from ODS to Cube.

You can log in to Adobe.com with your credentials and you can change your region or country from the option "Change Region" at the bottom left of the page .
From there you can change your region and select the preferred one and make the payments.

Nope, you can install it on your new computer with no issues. The disc contains both the 32 and 64 bit versions.
