Register button not enabled in Kindle app on ipod Touch 3g
I downloaded the Kindle app, it synced OK to my new ipod Touch 3g (1st ipod ever, still figuring out how to use it). However, I am unable to "register" the app. Whether I am within range of a wifi network or not, if I open the Kindle app I get the "register now to get started" page, and there is a "register" button but it is greyed out and not available. Other links work, such as "don't have an amazon account? create one now" but following that isn't any help because I already HAVE an amazon account and want to use it. Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks much!
It might be incompatible with the current version of software on your ipod Touch.

When I try and use the Kindle app on my touch it keeps telling me to register the kindle. I register it using the account and password I used to get the app but it tells me there is no customer found for the email address and password. help
No, it is asking you to register with your Amazon user id and password. Your Apple ID won't work.

I am using IOS 4.1 in Ipod touch. I would like to take my data back using icloud. I am not able to enable icloud in to my ipod touch. please help me for the same. Basically I am trying to take back to upgrade my ios to 5 or 6 version.
You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

My iPod Touch power button is stuck and will not pop back up. My iPod Touch Repairs and Service Coverage is still active, Does that mean I can get a new iPod Touch?
Apple will most likely exchange it. The one you receive will be refurbished.

You can enable battery % on ipod touch 4g without jailbreaking it you can use backup bot for itunes. Thats how i enabled it on mine. Step 1: goto http://www.icopybot.com/ibackupbot_setup.exe download and install it if you have windows. Step 2: Next create a backup of your device in iTunes and then CLOSE iTunes (or else you may run into problems later on) do not lock the backup with a password. Step 3: Open iBackupBot. Click the backup you just made Next click "Path" to sort by Path. Step 4: Look for Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist and double click it. On the registration screen that comes up, hit cancel. Step 5: Find <dict> and create a new line after it. Then add this:
<key>SBShowBatteryLevel</key>
<true/>
Step 6: Hit CTRL + S or just the save button at the top left corner of that editor window. Now close the window.
Step 7: Right click that same backup you just edited
Step 8: click restore
Step 9: Done! If you don't see the changes, reboot your iPod.

Is it better to register iPhone on iTunes or restore backup from iPod Touch
I just got an iPhone 3gs. When I plug it into computer USB and iTunes is open, iTunes asks me if I want to register it as new iPhone or if I want to restore from my last iPod Touch backup. I'm not sure which one I should do, because I actually do want to transfer all the apps from my iPod Touch to my phone as well. So if I choose restore from backup, all the apps would be placed on the phone, correct? But I'm not sure if iTunes will or will not recognize my phone as a phone afterwards. Will it recognize it as the iPod Touch after that?
I basically need to know:
A) If I should register or restore from backup
B) How to transfer apps from iPod Touch to iPhone [I did already transfer all purchases to iTunes from iPod Touch]
C) How do I transfer contacts from Outlook to my iPhone?
Any help is MUCH appreciated!set it up as a new device.

When I search for the Pandora app in the App Store it comes up and shows that it is free, but it does not allow me to click on the button to download it. The Free button is not highlighted. Remote App on IPod Touch Connect to ITunes on Win7
Is anyone having a problem making the Remote APP on ipod touch connect to ITunes on Win7 over WiFi? Itunes sees it alright, asks for a Passcode which the ipod supplies, considers it and then says it is invalid. I'm open to suggestions.
Yes it is, I click on the "Remote" button, type the passcode into iTunes, it thinks for a while then comes back and says "invalid passcode". The two are communicating or iTunes wouldn't show the "Remote" button or display the passcode entry window.

Ive never used that but I think there is a find ipod app. But im not sure. The ipod might have had to have it on?

I have some music content in my itunes library that I do not want to sync with my ipod touch. The content has previously been synced and I want to remove it without deleting it from my itunes library. Is this possible?
Hi Pez,
iTunes in the Cloud is not iCloud. Any songs that you have purchased but have not downloaded (or have deleted), go to iTunes in the cloud. The setting I mentioned will show all of your purchases in the various views in the Music app, whether they are on your device or not. If you turn that setting off, you will only see items that are actually on your device.

My notes won't open on my iPod touch 5 g it lags and closes everything else is fine I need my notes all my passwords are written there in my notes.
If on a computer browser you go to icloud.com and sing in are you notes there? If so get them off.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
