trying to register my new macbook pro ... purchased 3/9/2013 ... registration web-app renders an error claiming the date I've entered is not correct for the serial number I've provided ...
bought it new ... paid large some o'cash ... want to register it ... what gives with the registration gadget?

Unless something has changed, the Apple does not provide a specific support warranty for their AirPort products. Instead, typically, you would get this type of warranty only if your purchased an Apple desktop or laptop at the same time and the AirPort would be covered under that one.
If you bought the AirPort directly from Apple, they should have a copy of the receipt. Otherwise, if you used a credit card, check with your card provider.

A friend gave me an ipod and i have no purchase date and i no longer have access to my friend

Ok so my brother was given this ipod as a present about 2 years ago by a friend of his as a gift. This friend was met at a farmers market in Los Angeles and my brother only got to be in contact with this friend on the weekends when he would sell fruit at the farmers market (my family runs Etheridge Farms Organic Produce and attends many different farmers markets in the Los Angeles area including Encino, Calabasis, and Santa Monica but the same people do not always do the same market). He then let me put all my music on it and since then my computer has crashed and this ipod is the only thing that has my music and videos on it. Now he has recieved a newer Ipod and has given me this ipod so i can redownlaod my music. Unfortunately the email address that was used for my old itunes account had been hacked a little over a year ago so I have recently gotten a new computer and a new email address, so I am trying to register this ipod onto my itunes account so i can get all 500+ songs and 3 movies but it is asking for a purchase date. I personally do not know the man who gave the ipod to my brother and my brother has lost contact with him. So I dont know what to do. I purchased all of the songs on my grandmothers credit card and the card has expired since then. I am just woundering if I am out of luck or if there is some way to get my purchases back by using what information I have from my old itunes account.
P.s. I know this ipod wasnt stolen because my mother knew about it and if my mom knows about it the first thing she will ask is where u got it from and go verify that it wasnt stolen from someone. My brother has gotten her into this habbit because he used to steal often and got caught either in the act or tracked down through security cameras on multiple occasions. Also the screen of the ipod is broken so I can not see what is going on with it but the music still plays and everything. It all depends on the version of AirPort Express that you have.
If you have the "new" AirPort Express with both a WAN and LAN port, you can connect the G5 to the LAN <-> port on the AirPort Express.
If you have an older AirPort Express that has only one Ethernet port, then that port is already occupied with the connection from your modem.
Does your modem have additional open Ethernet ports or does it have only one Ethernet port?

I bought it used from eBay and don't know when the owner bought it. It has warranty util July 21 and i want to extend it, so i want to buy AppleCare. One AppleCare it says it will extend the warranty for two year since the original purchase date. So how do i find out if i can buy AppleCare for my iPhone or not and how long would it cover my iPhone for?

You don't need to know the original purchase date (though it will be one year prior to the date of warranty expiration). You have until July 21st, the day when the warranty expires, to purchase and register an AppleCare plan, presuming you can still find the original plan. Apple no longer sells that plan; they sell only AppleCare+ which has to be purchased at or within 30 days of the original purchase. But some dealers still have the retail AppleCare for iPhone package available.
If you can find and register the original AppleCare, it will be in effect until July 20th, 2013.

We are transforming a OAG process_po_007 to EDI 850.xml in BPEL and enqueing the message to B2B out queue. We are receiving 'Invalid Data' error in B2B log. Following is the 850.xml file. Also I am attaching some portion of the B2B.log at the end. Any help will be appreciated.

Where should know this without a payment bills or sales checks.
What you can do is to find out when the notebook was registered on the Toshiba page.

Unable to register my data warehouse in Service Manager

I have been trying to register my data warehouse but keep getting the same error message each time - "Invalid URI: the hostname could
not be parsed." I know the issue is on the ServiceManager database side of things, but there is not a lot of information related to this error message and the info I do find is unrelated to ServiceManager. I have gone as far as building a
brand new data warehouse server and reinstalling all of the data warehouse databases from scratch. It doesn't matter if I tried to register with the original data warehouse environment or the new environment, I get the same error message. I also
received a powershell command from Microsoft Support to help clean up any residual entries in the ServiceManager database that might be left over. At this point I'm at a loss on how to proceed. Anyone ever run into this issue?

Also, I tried registering the data warehouse using powershell Add-SCDWMgmtGroup and get an error saying that Cannot associate Service Manager installation on scsm_server with Service Manager Data Warehouse installation on dw_server.

Just got additional information about this error. If you run the following query in SQL pointing to the ServiceManager database you should see the name of the Management Server. The query is:
select * from MT_Microsoft$SystemCenter$ResourceAccessLayer$SdkResourceStore
There is a column named Server_<some GUID> that should contain the Management Sever NetBIOS name. If it has some other name, run an update query to ensure the column has the NetBIOS name of the Management Server. Restart the SCSM Console
and retry the Database Registration again and it should succeed.
Microsoft has said that this is normally caused by either moving the database or database server to another server and the value is never updated.
Try registering the DW Server again and see if you have better luck.

How do I determine Purchase Date - want to sell within one-year warranty

Packing slip says my MacBook was shipped on 2/29/08. Is that considered the purchase date? Or would it be when I registered it online?
I want to sell my MacBook within the one-year warranty period, so that buyer can add AppleCare (I didn't purchase AppleCare because I planned to sell within the first year). Is there somebody at Apple that I can call? Thanks.

If you registered it then check at Your Support Profile for Registered Purchases. You might also try entering the computer's serial number in Decode Mac Serial Number. Or try the following:

Can't validate purchase date

I am a proud Macbook owner, but when I tried to register my product, I failed. The selfsolve page says "Please validate your purchase date" and when I click on it, I get back to the screen where I have to enter a serial number. This loop can be repeated infinitely.
What should I do? Is this a bug, or is something wrong with my browser? I use Google Chrome.

If you're registering an Apple product on an Apple website, it couldn't hurt to use an Apple browser (Safari) to do it.
Note that if you bought your rMBP from Apple, it's already registered.
