Register SPA-9000 to an ITSP

Is it possible using just 1 SIP line to register all numbers that are registered to the SPA to an ITSP... IE that in the register it lists all of the contact URI's that the SPA is serving.

you just need to manually register the lines for the SPA9000. He wizard also will let you configure the 4 lines on the SPA9000.

SPA 9000 - Is it possible to use only the FXS lines (a la SPA2102) ?    At this moment I have not received the 9x2 series phones I ordered, but am trying to set up the SPA9000.

    yes, it would work.

  • SPA 9000 Config

Is it possible to config the SPA 9000 to work in this environment?
Depending on what line is being called in to go to a AA message. For example someone calls in using Line1 it gets AA message A and if someone else calls in on Line2 and they will get AA message B? I have a client who has 2 businesses located in the same building and is trying to use the same Voice system but keeping them seperate. They do have a total of 2 SPA 9000's and 2 SPA 400's. I currently have it setup only using 1 9000, and 2 400s (each has 1 analog line coming in and only 1 is configured for voicemail for all extensions).
    Any Ideas?
    Thanks,
    Matt

No for what it is my understanding. AA settings are system wide so just one settings for any SPA9000. But, anyway, if you can have the PSTN line on different SPA400 and each line belongs to the different company, you can route them to the different SPA9000 and  rustle up the game.

  • SPA 9000 CONFIGURATION IN FRANCE / UE

    Hello,
I am trying to configure a SPA9000 and 4 SPA 941 in France. I have four VoIP lines, by Phonesystems.net VoIP provider.
I am looking for someone who did it in France or in European Union, and could send me a copy of his web configuration (by the save as option of Internet Explorer).
    My email : [email protected]
    Thanks.
    FPC.

Uhmmmmmm.... good set-up but I guess there isn't answer at your question.
You just can't do it because your dial plan point to SPA400#3 and if that line is
    busy you can do nothing.
You need some "last effort" routing that, i believe, isn't developped.

  • Spa 400 vs spa3102

Is there the same bug with the spa 400 and the 3102? The 3102. If you make a call to the pstn, its answer before the phone line start ringning, does someone has the spa400, when you call the pstn, does it wait until the reverse polarity? thanks

SPA-400 works differently with SPA-3102. SPA-400 can’t work with out SPA-9000. This device has 4 PSTN ports where you can connect 4 POTS line and has a voicemail server capability. You need register SPA-400 to the SPA-9000 to be able to forward the calls to PSTN or vice versa.
When calling out to PSTN from IP phone registered on the SPA-9000, dial 9 first and then it will hear the PSTN tone then dial the number of the PSTN number.

  • SPA9000 - transferring calls to my home

    Hello.
    Background:
My accountancy practice is about to install spa9000 and spa400 and linksys phones.
I would like to be able to make a call from home to the office and vice versa.
At home I have an ASDL (broadband) service in New Zealand.  I use a wireless router(  a netgear dg834gt) at home.
I am happy to change the router if needed.
    Question:
Will this type of router work, or, do I need one with special protocals.  Does linksys have a suitable one?
Is it as simple as this or is there some other equipment I need.
    Thankyou
    Mark

The router is fine as long as you have internet. All you have to do is plug the WAN port of the SPA-9000 to the LAN port of the router. Connect the SPA-400 and IP phones to any available LAN ports on the router. If you are using the Linksys Voice System IP phones then it will automatically register to the SPA-9000. All you need to think is the VOIP provider to be registered on any Lines of the SPA-9000.

  • Configure 2 SPA9000...???

    Hi everyone,
I'd like to know if it's possible to configure two SPA9000 to work together (I'd like to enable a bridge).
    Can you help me?
Is it possible to allow the two SPA9000 to use a single SPA400 to make outside calls?

You can use 2 SPA-9000 but it is not recommended. You will have to change the port number for the < Multicast Address > and < Group Page Address >, so the clients will register to only one of the SPA-9000's.  On the SPA-941, you will have to change the port number for < Multicast Address > to match the SPA9000 that you want it to register with

  • Problem with spa400 and pap2t

    Hello,
I have a problem with spa400 and pap2t. If from analogue telephone behind pap2t call outside, work, cal call go out go into spa400 e on the rtg system.
If I call from external, the calll arrive to spa400 but the spa400 don't forward the call to papa2t.
    Suggestions?
    Thanks

No the experiment is just with spa400 and pap2t. spa 9000 there isn't.
There is a method for using the call incoming and outcoming only with this spa400 and pap2t.
    Thanks!

  • New features for uc320

    Dear Cisco-Team,
There are already some threads open regarding the implementation of new features. Some of them are maybe not more actual, so I open a new discussion to have hopefully answers on the following feature requests:
PPTP-Implementation: It's still not possible to get PPTP running with the UC320. (Teleworker)
Remote-Phones: It's still not possible to connect SPA phones remotely to UC320
Dial-Plan: With the new firmware 2.3.2 (6) there was one great improvement: "Return Call without Edit Dial". But it doesn't work for Austria.
"Enhanced Caller ID Directory Mapping" - also new in version 2.3.2 - but doesn't work.
soft-phone: annouced many times and since years. promised by Cisco. Still not implemented.
I hope that someone from Cisco can give me a qualified answer incl. a timeline!!!
    Greeting from Austria.
    Matthias

This is not very reassuring as to the future, and Cisco's commitment, to this platform, as these features (teleworker, softphone, wireless portable phone, etc.) have previously been touted as "on the roadmap". Being "on the roadmap" and being "re-evaluated" are different objectives.
It appears that the UC320 is just a repackaging of the SPA-9000 + the SPA-400 without the ability to use the SPA9xx phones. What a disapointment and missed opportunity for Cisco.
"The teleworker and softphone features mentioned in the posting above are  been re-evaluated by the team. There is no commitment yet on these  features."

  • WRVS4400N needs to be rebooted every 24 hours

I have the latest firmware and I have reset to factory defaults but I still need to reboot the router every 24 hours. Can anyone help?

Useful info.. Is it possible to change the MTU size on the WRVS4400N?  I rolled back from 1.01.03 to firmware 1.00.16 to see if it makes a difference, however I don't see any MTU settings.  It's possible there are MTU settings in 1.01.03.  There is major difference in the web admin screen between the two.  1.01.03 introduces a more detailed way of seeing what's connected to the WRVS4400N as well as handling Diffserv instead of just ToS/CoS.  There are a few other things to..
Anyway, if 1.00.16 doesn't resolve my issue then I'll jump back to 1.01.03 and see if there are MTU settings.  BTW, I just disabled UPnP after reading your message.  Hopefully that helps too.
The odd ting is, I have a Buffalo Wiress N router and never had a single issue.  I got the Linksys for my "lab" environment where I'm doing a lot of VoIP testing.  The other Linksys products (PoE switches, WET200 wireless bridge, SPA-9000 and SPA phones) all work great. The router is the only one giving me odd behaviour.
    Thanks,
    -d
EDIT: It looks like I found the MTU.  It's not labeled MTU though.  On the "L2Switch" tab there is a selection for "Port Settings" and there is a default entry for "MaxFrame" of 1518.  If my hosts get locked up from the Internet again, I'll change the MaxFrame to your suggested size.  Since I just rolled back to 1.00.16 I want to see if the issue occurs before making the MaxFrame change.

  • SPA9000 for Newbie

Hi all, I am thinking of buying the SPA400 and SPA900 for my home business. I have never used a PBX before. There are a few questions I would like to ask:
    1) We have only one PSTN line. Do we need at least two lines/phone numbers in order to forward an extension to an outside number? That is if an incoming call is directed to an extension which is set to forward to my mobile phone, do we need two phone lines to do that? One for incoming calls and one for the forwarding?
     2) If my line has call waiting and a second caller calls in, can the SPA9000 pick up the second call at the same time the first call is still connecting?
     3) I am confused by the terms multi-line hunting and DID. Where can I get more information about these terms?
Any information will be appreciated! Thank you!

i believe that all the configuration that you need will work with the SPA-9000 and SPA-400.  i suggest that you visit the FAQ for SPA-9000 so you can verify if it suit your needs.

  • SPA9000 Date Format

How do I change the data format on a SPA9000 to dd/mm/yy?

You can't change it on the SPA 9000.
You must do it on the SPA9XX phone web interface (user tab).

  • SPA9000 Versions. What are the differences?

I've searched (Forums and Google) but can't seem to find a comparison of the SPA-9000 ver 1 and ver 2. I see that they use a different firmware, but other that that what's the difference?
Does one have different/more features than the other? Was there a speed/RAM/CPU change or was it just a design change to make things cheaper?
I don't have either of these but they come up in conversation from time to time.
    Any comments?

Here's some of the differences that I've noticed between the two:
                                                                            v1                        v2
    ethernet                                                       10 base t              10/100
default auto provisioning interface                 LAN                     WAN
    form factor                                                rectangular             square

  • Spa9000+ 3102

Hello, I have a video intercom connected to an IP spa 9000 with 3 pc (x-lite installed) the SIP while everything is working correctly, I would like added to a SPA3102 to dial a number if no one answers the intercom. To know that I have no account with a telephone provider (analogue line is a classic) how to setup (dial plan in line 1 - line ptsn dial plan) to get the spa 3102 registred on spa 9000 and by  xLite dial "400" (which corresponds to the SIP 3102) which directly call number this number only "999000"
    Thank you for your answers
