No, sorry, there is no way you can get that information. The police perhaps could, but it would probably require a court order and it's unlikely the police will go to those lengths unless they have reason to believe that this theft was not an isolated instance and hence worth more of their time than the single theft of an iPod.
Even if they got the ID, it may well just be yours. Apple's registration database often contains such errors; I get the same message for some of my devices when I know I registered them to my Apple ID and the devices are all still right here.

My iphone and Ipad got stollen yesterday...
I registered my Ipad onto "my profile" but when I tried to register my Iphone 4 onto "My Profile" it says that the product has been registered under ANOTHER apple ID. What does this mean?! Does this mean that the thief is using my phone under a new apple ID?!
I am getitng abit paranoid because when I tried to download a new app onto my macbook pro, it says that someone had accessed my account from a new computer. I am so scared.. as I know that if they are able to access my apple ID account they can see my billing/card details. I tried to delete my billing address and card details on my apple ID account to prevent this from occuring but I can't. Please help

You should change your AppleID password NOW. And if it says it was registered under another AppleID, the thief has probably done it.

As I said you need to:
You need to wipe the hard disk and reinstall the OS by booting into the recovery partition and reinstall the original OS via the internet. It will ask you to enter your ID

Registering iPod Nano 4th with AppleId - registered to another Apple ID.

Hello, today i was trying to register my iPod Nano to the new Apple Id service. I'm the owner of the iPhone, MBPro and iPod Nano 4th. I registered iPhone and MBP but for the iPod Nano i'm getting the error:

The fact is that i have only one appleid and it's the one i'm using on itunes store and i'm sure i registered it with iPod Nano 2 yrs ago, when i bought it. But how do i un-register it with the other apple id if i don't remember it at all?

Registration of your iPhone is not actually necessary since the service and support is actually linked to the serial number of the iPhone, not to you. See this article -

2 of my devices registered to another Apple ID

I was registering my apple products to my Apple ID and my iMac and iPod touch could not be registered, it says "According to our records, this serial number is associated to another Apple ID. If you have more than one Apple ID, log in to My Support Profile with that Apple ID to see your other added products. Not sure if you have another Apple ID". I don't understand why cause I have already registered some other devices as iPhone and Apple TV.
Would appreciate if someone could help me!!

I have a mid-2009 MacBook Pro, or rather, I used to have a mid-2009 MacBook Pro because it was stolen at the end of 2010.
I had this MacBook registered to my Apple ID which is the same as it is now. Yet, somehow, I don't see this MacBook being registered to my Apple ID anymore, and when I try to add it to my account (I still have it's serial number) it says: ID registered to another Apple ID while I never used another.
Does this mean it is now registered to someone else's account? Which means someone else is using my MacBook? I tried to see if I ever had an Apple ID with my other address but that seems to not be the case...
Is there something I could do?

Because that is such a rampant problem. I wish I would have thought of that.
What is more likely is that we are GOOD and HONEST people who are victims of theft with a way to recover OUR personal property and Apple does nothing to assist us. My iPad mini was a 64gb version so it was almost $600. I can pretty much guess anyone reading this including the original poster, who I am sure spent much more than me on a laptop, would agree it is total B.S. that Apple has a way to get us reunited with our property but they choose not to. I guess if they did then there would be no reason for us to go out and spend more money on their products.

Have the person you purchased from login to their Apple support profile & remove the phone. If they didn't setup a support profile, have them call AppleCare.

This doesn't make any sense because I know that I am logged into my one and only Apple Account on my phone. How would I fix this? Or figure out what is wrong?

You do have two Apple ID's...if you setup a 4S, you would have had to use an Apple ID that is a verified email address. rooroo17x2 is also an Apple ID.

So how does one register/re-register a device that someone else no longer owns?

I don't have any other Apple ID for sure. I've bought my macbook in used condition through some not official organization, that sells used computers. And there is no way to find out former owner.
