You can also register or reregister the already
registered databases when you use LSNRCTL
RELOAD without stopping and starting the listenerWell ...
reload forces a re-read of the listener.ora file and de-registers the existing registered databases. The de-registered databases "will subsequently be registered again"
I am not quite sure that reload will ask the database to re-register, or will simply wait until PMON gets around to re-registering on it's own.
Either way, dynamic registration requires the listener to be up before the database attmepts to register.

There should definitely be no issue. You can register more than one Apple device with the same Apple ID and get the same apps on both devices without having to pay for the apps again.
Alternatively, if you want all your settings to say the same, do a backup of your old iPod Touch and then whe you receive the new iPod, restore the backup on it and it'll save you the trouble from having to redownload everything.

SharePoint 2013 unable to create new column with existing column name

I'm currently having a problem in creating my first custom list in my SharePoint site. When I tried to create a new columns with existing name, e. g "date reported" = Date/Time , "Due Date" =
Date/Time
It's prompt the error like this " The page at sharepoint.itechdomain.com says: The Column name that you entered is already in use or reserved. Choose another name." I've read some forum, someone say's they need javascript command
to fixs the problem. If these the solution for my problem, I'm not familiar on how to used javascript in my sharepoint.
Kindly help me how to fixs my problem as soon as possible.

New Nano with existing itunes account

I lost my Nano and just bought a new one. Is there anything special I need to do to make sure my ipod syncs with existing itunes? Can I just plug the usb connector into my desktop and it will download all my music on itunes onto my new Nano? Any help is appreciated.

How to create a new file with existing file's resource fork?

I would like to create a new file that has the resource fork of an existing file. I had though of making a copy of the existing file, seek to the beginning of the copy and write the new data, but for large files, that creates the whole file even when not needed. I currently create the new file with [NSFileManager createFileAtPath: contents: attributes:], but attributes do not include resource fork items, like custom icons, color label, etc.
[NSURL resourceValuesForKeys] gives a common subset of resource data, like icons and color label, but that's about it. Is there some way to get the resource fork or a copy of the file without getting the whole file?

What are you trying to do here? While resource forks might still be quasi-supported, you really shouldn't be thinking about them as such. Instead, think in terms of extended attributes. You can use the low-level xattr() functions to get some of that or you can use the new NSURL methods.

Best way to give a default value to a New Column with existing rows

Adding some columns to SQL tables with existing data rows. There are also views created from these tables. The views are used in some report/query software so NULL values are not good. Interested in learning about the best way to set a default value.
These are the ways that I can think of
1) ALTER TABLE using the DEFAULT to add the column and set the default value
++ Adds a constraint which is not terrible. Constraints are just not used much in this shop.
2) ALTER TABLE to add the column then do an UPDATE statement to update the values
++ might be an issue for tables with millions of rows
3) ALTER TABLE to add the column then use ISNULL in the CREATE VIEW

It is a large table with 444 columns and max row size of 2268. 907k records took 1 minute 38 seconds to UPDATE the column. I have about 12 fields to add to this table and about 44 tables (not all this large of course) so it will take some time to
UPDATE. Although ... i just tried updating 3 columns in a single UPDATE and it took 1 minute 36 seconds. So If I did all 12 fields in a single UPDATE it would be about the same time as a single Field. I will think about it.

This code correct for your requirement, only thing is you are not able to modify it as per your requirement.
What you have to do is:
1. Copy queried row into into new row, change primary key values(but don't commit your changes here).
2. Now you have two rows in your VO(OLD as well as New)
3. Make any changes if you want using User Interface.
4. At the save button first compare OLD and NEW row, if any value is differing then commit the chnages(it will insert new row in corresponding database table), if no changes are there I mean to say OLD value and NEW rows are same then rollback(it will remove copied row from VO and no row will be inserted in database.)
While comparing rows please note that Primary keys will not be same so don't compare Primary keys while comparing rows.

Setting up new computer with existing library

Just got a new computer with Vista. Have current iTunes library on an external HD. (old computer running XP) Can I just plug the HD in and have all my playlists and settings? Or could someone point me where to find info to set this up? We've got 3 iPods running on this library and am hoping this is easy.

How to create a new track with existing changes in the production

Hi
I need to create a new track for the ESS package with the existing changes that we already made to the ESS package. We already have a development track and the customisation to the ESS package has been already done in that track. Now my requirement is to create a new track ( DEV, CONS, TEST and PROD) with DEV having all the existing changes we made. In short how do I import the SCA's from development track PROD to the new track DEV. We are on NW2004 SPS20.

Have you done the import in DEV and CONS and then Assembled .. ?
If yes then go to /usr/sap/jtrans/CMS/archives/.......... -> check for the track name and then the last .SCA file in it . Copy that SCA file in the /usr/sap/jtrans/CMS/inbox and go to the new track and configure the checkin to inbox ... You should see the SCA in there ... check those in and you are ready to have those SCA in your Production track ..
If no then you need to know the NWDS functions .. I shall send you the details to bring the incomplete changes (not assembled) to new track .. let me know if the first one worked ..

Upgrade issues - new ipod with existing itunes

My previous 20GB ipod died and I have bought a 5th generation 30GB. When I try to install the new software using the disc provided in the box, I get the following dialogue box:
"Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel."
If I do this, will it erase all of my songs on the pc? I have Windows XP. If so, can anyone tell me how to update the software for the new ipod without losing my current personal library of songs?

You shouldn't have to download more software (iTunes)
since you already had an iPod. Did you upgrade your
iTunes to the latest version? You
should be able to just hook your iPod up to your
computer and have it work. I am a Mac user so I am
not positive how your PC works with the iPod.

Unable to set up sync on new computer with existing iPhone

I have replaced my laptop and install Firefox 16.0.2. I have been unable to sync it with my existing iPhone Firefox app. It was working fine on my old computer, both running Windows 7. For my last attempt I logged onto my sync account and deleted it. Now trying to set up a new sync account and it says my email address is already in use. When I launch the Firefox app on my iPhone it goes direct to a screen that Firefox Home requires a sync account. I have deleted and re-installed the app but that did not help. I'm stumped.

Addendum: I tried all of the suggestions on the Firefox web site, but they do not match the options available on 16. There is not "Manage Account" option that I can find on 16.

New Subscription with existing subscription

I would like to know if I can use my existing subscription with new one.

New-MailboxDatabase with Existing .edb file possible?

This is a little test recovery I am trying to do. I can restore a mailbox to another database in recovery mode.
RDB mailbox to MDB newmailbox
One Recovery mailbox is badly corrupted and restore-mailbox can't get to it.
Is there a way I can mount an existing mailbox.edb without putting it into Recovery mode (New-MailboxDatabase ... - Recovery)? My aim is to attempt to make a connection with a temporary user to that badly corrupted mailbox. See if it can be exported to PST
Mount as a non-Recovery Mailbox Database but as another Mailbox Database.

There are ways to do it. I'm sure someone is going to bring up third party products that can open the database and pull the data from it. However, using just Exchange (and assuming you have a separate backup of this database file), if you create
a new mailbox database, you can then move this database to that location (or change the location to where you have your EDB file), and make sure you set the database so it will allow an overwrite. You should then be able to mount this database (if it
is clean shut down - if not look here: ). Once you open it, you should be able to see the mailboxes on it in the
Disconnected Mailbox pane in the Recipient Configuration
- or you can find them with the Get-MailboxStatistics -Database <database name>
command.
Once you find the mailbox, you'll need to attach it to an account before you can export it. Once connected, an Export-Mailbox command should get you what you need.

New iMac with existing iPod Touch (64G) authorization problem

I got a new iMac and transferred everything over to it from my existing iMac using the migration assistant during the first boot-up. When I sync my existing iPod touch (64G 3rd gen) I get stuck in an authorization loop where the Mac says I need to authorize the computer, I do so and then it says the computer is already authorized. New CDs that I have imported into my iTunes library since I bought the new iMac will not load onto the Touch during sync and some (but not all) of the music that I have purchased from iTunes will not play on the iMac. I have already checked to make sure that I have all the recent software updates and I do.
Any idea what is going on and how to solve this frustrating problem?

Deauthorizing and reauthorizing my Mac solved the problem with not being able to sync newly imported CDs with my iPod Touch.
The problem with not being able to access some of my purchased iTunes music is a function of having 2 different iTunes accounts that I bought tunes with. I'll need to contact apple customer service to sort that one out.
