Registering multiple devices for testing app

i am trying to register multiple devices for testing my app. I have downloaded the sample file and pasted my devices names and ids there but it refuses o upload them saying it is not the right format! Any hints?

PUSH notification were delivered to some of the other iOS devices: (iPhone5 / iOS 6.1.4 and iPhone5 / iOS 7.0.3)

Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call? You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

What physical iOS devices for testing?

Considering the current offering of iPhones and iPads today (sept 30th 2012), what devices should I purchase to do a "reasonable" testing for iOS apps? I mean, should I purchase all iPhones and iPads and test them all, like some Android developers do having dozens of Android devices for testing?
If possible, I'd like to use the iOS simulator for testing, and then test the app on no more than 1 or 2 real physical devices, because I tend to believe iOS doesn't have the same fragmentation of Android, but I ask because I want to know if my plan is reasonable, and how many physical devices would you test at least.

Ok, I didn't know that (because I'm not used to test all machines/OSX combinations for OSX applications, my experience with OSX says a few combinations are enough usually).
It wouldn't seem reasonable for me to buy 3 iPhones and 3 iPads in this moment. I think I'll start with just one device. If I get income from my apps, I'll buy a second one. But all devices I buy should be payed from the apps income, otherwise I wouldn't consider it reasonable.

I am using my Apple ID on multiple devices for other people in my family and now I am getting a new iphone and want to take only the information on my old iphone to the new one without the information on the other devices using the same account. Is there a way to do that?
Also, for the future can I use multiple addresses and apple IDs for the same credit card information?

Ok, so you want to remove data (contacts, bookmarks, calendar etc) from other users from your iCloud/Apple ID?
If you want to use your ID for your family because it is the account everybody uses to buy stuff then you only need to ensure that your apple ID is set up in the store (settings-store) and then the users of each device and put their own apple ID in icloud/message/facetime/etc.
To set up your device, in my opinion, it is best to back up to itunes, and then plug your new device into itunes and "set up as ..." and select the backup from your device. This will import all your data/settings and your new device will be set up just like your old one.
I am not certain about using the same payment method for more than one account.

How do I register multiple devices in order to read pdf books?

My library has many downloadable books in PDF format (e.g.: epublications ). If I download a book to my tablet, I cannot currently also download it to my phone. I understand that I would be able to read PDFs on multiple devices if I were to register them with Adobe. How do I go about doing this?

Can I use multiple device for reading ebook ?

My company have own shop that will be integrated with ACS4 and one important feature of my shop is
that "customer pay for single ebook then they can read that ebook on multiple devices that is registered with my shop".

Yes and no. Yes, if you sell a book through ACS4 (without adding a device restring), the user can read the on any computer or device that they have activated with their Adobe DRM account. No you can not manage these devices on your site or specify a subset other than have a single device restriction.

Limited Number of Devices for Testing?

I am working on a project along with a third party vendor to develop and publication for Newsstand. We have the app created and the content live for testing but I am being told by the outside company that there is a limited amount of devices that I can test on via UDID. In other words, we have hit our limit and can no longer share our development .ipa with other testers.
Is that correct? It's been about a year since I have tested an app and don't seem to remember that being an issue before. Is it something new Apple changed?

Multiple entries for same apps showing next to 'Open With' in contextual menu since last backup

I did a back up of my MBPs internal drive recently, using Carbon Copy Cloner - since then there are multiples of the same icons for all apps under 'Open With' in the contextual menu. I seem to remember there being a command line that could be entered in Terminal to fix this, but I can't find it anywhere.
Can anyone help?

Yes, LaunchServices. These are only cache files but can get corrupted. Launch /Utilities/Terminal and copy & paste this at the command line to rebuild LaunchServices: (be sure to copy the entire line it's a scroll)

Do not use multiple devices for BT email

I have been advised by the Yahoo email support team that my account is being locked every few hours because I use multiple devices and the server sees multiple requests to 'sync' email from one account onto several devices as malicious activity. I use outlook on three PCs (a desktop and a couple of laptops) and the default email client on a stock Android.
The advice I've been asked to follow is to ensure I close outlook (on which I view several email accounts) every time I walk away from my desk and then enable email sync on my phone. On return to my desk I should reverse the process. I'll do this in the short term as it will take a few days to switch from BT email to another provider but this is not sustainable.
I find it hard to believe that the btinternet system isn't robust enough to accept single user/multiple device scenarios. The problem has only manifested this week so I suspect it will be due to a change in system protocol/software as I have had a few years of trouble free multiple device access until this point.
I'm interested in other peoples' experience of this as it's the only email service I use which has exhibited this issue in recent years.

TS1424 Multiple charges for one app download.

I've been charged multiple times for a $1.99 add-on download for the "Dragonvale" app. Additionally, there were other add-ons that were mistakenly charged to my account. I noticed at the time of the download that the system seemed to lose the transaction but then recovered. How do I get the Apple store to apply credits for all the erroneous charges?

Can't use iPad for testing app

When I tried to run an app under development on my iPad 1, I get a message "a valid provisioning profile for this exectable was not found."
Under General > Profiles > the Develop App Games and Developer Provisioning are both green ticked as Verified.
So I can't use my iPad for testing the app, which was no problem when I was running OS Lion with XCode 4.2.
I'm now using Xcode 4.6 on Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
What could be the problem? Thank you.

Currently only a few Apps support casting to Chromecast. There is no mirroring support if that is what you are after.

How to set default audio device for java apps on Linux?

I would like to find a way to choose a particular (ALSA) audio device for java applications. How can this be done without reprogramming the application or changing the default ALSA device? I came across "sound.properties", but could not find any information how to use this file on an ALSA system.

Well, if you try my suggestion above, no. You can restart esd yourself. And that's what all the other distros do, except with some fancy GUI.

How do I integrate multiple devices for multiple users?

I have a Mac that my wife and I share. We own and iShuffle, iPod, iTouch and two iPhones. My wife's iPhone is her own and my iPhone is through work. We only have one Apple ID and we share our iTunes. What do I need to do to make all devices work together on iTunes with relative ease? Do I need to create multiple Apple IDs? Can we link them together so we don't have to log in and out of iTunes, yet keep it so that what she does with apps / music on her phone doesn't effect what apps / music I move on my phone?
