Registering my copy of E-Learning Suite vs 6.0 after install

Can anyone tell me how to register my serial number on E-Learning Suite 6.0?
I installed e-learning suite 6.0 on the 7 day trial, and now I want to go back and register it with the serial number. The instructions say that I can register anytime by going to the help menu. However, I can't see anything under the Help Menu for registration.
I am running this on Windows 8.1.
The reason I am registering this old copy is that I have been using E-Learning suite on my MAC for the last two years, and now my MAC has died and my IT department insists I use windows. The license came with both MAC and Windows serial numbers.

There's no need to make this complicated. Adobe only sells current versions. Ever. If you need an older version, you might try your luck with a reseller. The otehr option might be volume licensing, since those users also get access to the previous version of the product. Otherwise spending a few bucks on an OSX system upgrade might be a less painful way of doing this and using the current version - if it's technically possible.

I have e-Learning Suite for Windows 2.5 running happily on my machine (well, apart from sometimes forgetting I've activated it already, and thus asking me to activate it again), but I was given a while back an activation code (purchased by my uni, too) for e-Learning Suite 6 for Windows as part of purchasing the upgrade plan.
Now I am having a clean-up of my machine and as the only version I see on the Adobe website is e-Learning suite 6.1 and the install file to download is quite big, can someone from Adobe confirm that my e-Learning Suite for Windows v6 license key will activate the currently-available e-Learning Suite for Windows v6.1, please?
If not, can I have a link to download the install file for v6, please?

Great, many thanks, Mayank. I noticed that Adobe Acrobat XI will be installed in trial mode, though, so I'll keep that in mind when I uninstall eLearning Suite 2.5... it would have been nice to have the full version, though...

You contacted us as you were unable to install e-learning suite. We suggest you to create a new Admin account on your computer and try installing creative cloud desktop from there. Thank you for your reply. However, YOUR solution did not work.
I created a completely new admin account. Everything was fresh -- totally virgin. And, exactly the same occurred. The installer program completed about 50% of its run,and then froze up. It failed to initialize, and I was referred to an onsite help page that has been discontinued ... that is no longer supported.
What can I do?
I have purchased AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE DVD from Adobe, had it sent to me in Thailand, and it will not install in my computer.
Please provide me with the technical support that I need.

Think of this as your automobile.
Do you want just anyone running down to the local license registrar and saying "oh I bought this new car and I want the title now in my name".
You have to understand, with as many stolen devices as there must be floating around, the carrier needs some confirmation that previous owner intends for it to be moved. After all, it is their account.

Can E-learning Suite 2.5 be installed on Windows 8?

I installed E-learning Suite on my Windows 8 machine. I received 4 fatal error and 50 warnings. The Dreamweaver errors said something about my OS. But Dreamweaver launches and the program seem to be on my machine. Am I going to have trouble down the road?

Is Captivate / E-learning suite right for my needs?
Having been on hold for over 90 minutes to Adobe yesterday, and searching Adobe.com and You tube for info I am throwing my request for information at your collective feet.
The organisation I work for needs to deliver some e-learning modules, these are informing on non-software based actions and information.
We have had modules professionally designed for us in the past (almost certainly in DW or flash) – the number that we need for the next 12 months has grown, although each individual module is smaller – so professional design is less attractive due to minimum costs per module.
Content at the moment is delivered as a page or frame of text, with still pictures, video, and audio content. Roll over information, and links through to supporting documents and web sites. The user then clicks on through the pages as they demand. Finishing with a quiz and a certificate of pass mark.
The core of any information I have found about Captivate 4 represents it primarily as screen recorder. I need to build a module outside of screen recordings.
Is captivate the product to do what I need?
I can’t find any in-depth information beyond “it’s a great screen recorder and software demo tool”.
There doesn’t seem to be any supporting documents, books, videos that could be used as a platform for training users how to work with Captivate 4 – and I can find no face to face trainers in Australia.
If anyone to shed some light on what captivate is capable of doing beyond screen recording, and if there is any training available online / from books / or face to face in Australia I would be very happy to hear from them.
The available delivery formats that Captivate can output would be very helpful too – as a government organisation we have a limited amount of software / updates we must work with.

Iconlogic is one of many companies providing Adobe Certified Captivate instruction. Many companies are using the curriculum they wrote. Note that their curriculum is designed for two uses. Learn it on your own with no instructor present and as a companion for an Instructor Led class.

I cant'copy pictures from Nokia suite to my phone n8,
any ADVICE , i need help because i need those photos.

Simplest way is to connect in madd storage mode instead of pc suite mode via usb and drag and drop, the phone will show as an external hd in 'My Computer' simply open the drive and drag photos from computer to N8, drag and drop is by far the easiest and quickest way to transfer all media to a Symbian phone !

Hello, I'm wondering if Adobe are planning to release a new e-learning suite with Captivate 7?

I think the original poster would be happy to know that their ASA licence means they'll get an upgrade to Cp7 and Presenter 9, but they might also want to know whether they will be getting a similar upgrade for all the other apps they purchased as part of the E-Learning Suite.
E.g. Do they get similar upgrades to the latest version of Acrobat Pro, Flash, Photoshop, Audition, Dreamweaver??
If not, does Adobe plan to compensate them in any way for the fact they paid for ASA based on the belief this included all apps in the E-learning Suite would be updated?

Use the CC Cleaner Tools to uninstall. Then re-install CS6.

As the title states this is my problem. this is a real version of creative suite we never bothered to install untill about 1 hour ago even though this copy is old. Never been opened till now and we do not want to downgrade to snow leapord. Please any help is appreciated!!!

Your MF4380dn is supported by the latest UFR2 v10.4.0 driver that supports 10.9. Here is a link from the Canon Australia web site,

Before installing this driver, please remove the MF4380 from Printers & Scanners (unless you have already performed the reset that Carolyn mentions which will remove it for you). Then run the v10.4.0 installer and when it has completed, open Printers & Scanners and add the MF4380.
