Registering my ipod thru i Tunes

Everytime I connect my ipod it wants me to register it. I have tried for 3 days to register. Everytime I get to the end (where you enter your credit card). I get the message "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." I have tried again and again. I have tried at all difffrent times of the day and night 3 am, 5 am, 8 am etc. Does anyone know what the problem is? or is it my computer? I have no problem at all with anything else but this.

i don't even get that far. i get to the free videos page and then i get an error message saying "resource not available". no idea what it means because there is no connection issue to the internet. i've been able to purchase things, but this one page doesn't work. i want the free things, but i don't want to have to say no just to get it registered.
this is using a new 80GB iPod classic.

I loaded up my 80GB IPod with songs, audiobooks, TV, etc. All was fine. Now, everything is gone off the IPod except the one photo I placed on it via IPhoto and one game. Is it possible that when I later registered the IPod (I had forgotten to do that), that it wiped out all the content? All items still appear in I-Tunes, just gone from IPod.

if you performed an ipod restore to get to the ipod registration bit then yeah it will wipe of all the stuff youve got on your ipod. but atleast youve still got all your music and video files in itunes

I currently have a 4G 2nd generation iPod that is registered to our computer. My husband just received a 4th generation iPod. Can you register multiple iPods onto the same computer?
My other question is if you purchase a used iPod, how do you register that and is there anything else we should consider when looking at purchasing a used iPod?

Change the Apple ID used with a device - Settings > Store > tap on your AppleID
When he connects it to his iTunes library it will detect a different library is being used and wipe your content to be replaced with the content of his iTunes library.

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.
However, if your iPod is Mac formatted, you'll only be able to copy content off of it using a program such as XPlay as Windows PCs cannot read or write to Mac OS X formatted hard drives/storage disks.

How can I register an iPod to my account that is currently registered to another one?

I bought an iPod Classic, 1.3 version, from a friend and it is registered under another account. I can't get in touch with this person to get the account password so I can sync my iPod to my account. I want to re-register the iPod under my account. It doesn't matter if all the music is lost in the proccess. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Simply connect the iPod to your PC and restore it via iTunes. This will associate the iPod with your iTunes library and content.

I just purchased a new nano for my wife. I was about to register her ipod using my apple id and itunes account so we could just use the same account to order music. Am I able to do this? I did not continue just incase registering her nano would "de-register" me video ipod.

Registering an ipod touch that went 1 month without backup?

Daughter got brand new ipod for 13th bday. I set it up for her on her brand new email and brand new apple ID. and opted out of icloud and registering at first. She went to town on wifi, lots of apps, took pictures, created artwork, loves her ipod for 1 month. Never used itunes for anything, she was able to do everything she wanted without itunes. But then... I bought her some songs for an upcoming road trip. They went into the iTunes library, great. When I plugged in her ipod to synch them, no device appeared in itunes. Windows sees it, but gives it the same name as her older sister's ipod which is weird because older sister still uses that ipod which is not connected. I realized I bought songs into my itunes acct (so that's 3 apple ids for 3 ipods, all running on 1 windows PC) so I'm bound to get beiber fever now. So I sign my apple id out of itunes and sign back in with her apple id to re-purchase the same songs again. Live and learn, us android guys are dumb like that. So now I'm signed into iTunes with her apple id, I still see the cool 80's songs ripped from my CD's, the new purchased beiber songs, and older sister's purchased songs too, but I'm signed in with the youngest's apple id, I don't get that, but will research how all the apple DRM works some other weekend when I have time. With her ipod connected there were still no devices listed in the left column of itunes,so I stopped/started the Apple Mobile service and restarted itunes and it popped up so I'm thinking now I can drag/drop songs to it. But no, it wants me to register the ipod now.
Here's my question:
Only options are "set up as new ipod" or "restore from backup". There is no backup for this newest ipod since purchasing and using it, but I see backups available for me and the older daughter. I figure those are bad choices. "Set up as new ipod" sounds bad to me as well, it sounds like all the photos, apps and saved files will be lost. So only option is to exit itunes. I have searched this forum and manuals but can't determine if "set up as new" is going to blow away all data on the device that was used prior to resigtering and make it a factory-fresh device with all the data wiped clean. I know I mentioned I'm an android guy, but don't hate, I do own an ipod touch. Actually it's my 2nd ipod, my classic went PVS. I'm just new to multiple users, DRM roadblocks, and this problem of using the ipod before registering it. Thanks for your time. No rush. Road trip is in a few days.

Changing Facetime settings on an iPod will have no affect on cellular settings on an iPhone. Something else is going on there. If she did not change any settings on the phone, then nothing she did could affect your celluar 3G.

So I bought an iPhone 5 last June and now that I have registered another Apple product (last week) I realize that now I can download free all the iWork free. But how can I do it?

You have to ACTIVATE an iDevice after September 1 ,2013. The Shuffle is not an iDevice. You activated your 5 in June, therefore you do not qualify.

Can I register an iPod(s) to more than one computer?

We're getting 3 iPods for the family (maybe 4) and we have 2 identical Dell Dimension8400 PC in our home. Can we register the iPods to ONE iPod account OR is the registration only allowed to ONE PC? I'd like to be able to use either computer on our network, especially since we may have 4 iPods in our home.
Any advice on how to set this up?
I think I want all children (and myself) to share an iTunes account so we can share songs. Each child has own account to access PC in family room.

You CAN use it with both your PCs, but it will replace the entire shuffle's contents each time.
So if laptop has Song A, and desktop has Song B - you will never be able to get both Song A&B on your shuffle at one time.
You'll have to choose either song A or song B
.....or put song A & B on both PCs.

Why I can't register my iPod touch 4G to my Apple Support Profile ?

I've purchased a new iPod touch 4G last week through a 3rd party reseller. He activated the product for me using my AppleID.
Then I went home to register the iPod in my ASP. However, after I put in the serial number, this came up :
I'm confused with this message since I don't even have any other AppleID. Yet, I've contacted my local Apple Authorized Service Provider but they haven't reply anything yet. My iPod touch was a MD527ZP but in my region, most of my products are ID (i.e. MC086ID). Hence, I've a few questions :
1. Why I can't register my iPod touch 4G to my Apple Support Profile ?
2. If I ignored the registration, will I be experiencing any inconvinience ?
3. Does getting a product from a different region would be hampering me later ? (or is it illegal ?)
4. Where did ZP devices came from ?
5. For my situation, what can I do to resolve this matter ?

Well, in my case, I'm in Indonesia where Apple Telephone Support won't do any good. However, I've came to the seller again. They said they didn't even knew that the product had been registered. They assured me that the product is completely legal.

I purchased and activated the unit on 5 August 2012. I thought it was wierd too. More unusual thing is that when I emailed a local Apple Authorized Service Provider, he said that something is wrong during the registration which is now made my warranty voided.
I found that ZP region was for Malaysia too (from an unofficial website) which is closer to Indonesia, but this is wierd either since Apple products I ever bought in Malaysia had MY. lllaass, could you do me a favor by looking into this ?
I thought I might be a step closer to find out why Australians who get ZP products sent those to Malaysia to be sold. But all I wanted, is to find a way to let me register the iPod touch into my ASP.
