Registering trial version??

I downloaded a trial version of LR 5 but logging in to CC desktop doesn't register it. It is still asking for my serial number on startup. That application is on a different hard drive. Would that be the reason?

Correct GCone2020 you will need to install Lightroom from within the Creative Cloud application.  Please uninstall Lightroom and reinstall from within the Creative Cloud application.  This will allow Lightroom to be licensed utilizing your subscription.

    Hi Everyone,
    I've installed Xcelsius 2008 and I've entered a valid keycode in the trial version notification.  It accepts the keycode, but everytime I start Xcelsius again it has the same prompt.
    Here are the troubleshooting steps I've tried.
    Completely uninstalled all Business Objects software (removed orphan files/folders and cleaned registry of all Business Objects entries)
    Tried using the license manager within Xcelsius to register the license key
    As you can imagine it is pretty frustrating having to enter the keycode everytime i start Xcelsius.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Could you go to Registry under->Hkey-Local Machine->Software->suite12.0->Xcelsius and check if the keycode string is present there and has the same keycode which you enter?

  • Acrobat XI Pro loads as trial version, not registered version, after MB & CPU swap, it is registered

    I have been a registered user of Acrobat since version 3.01. Never had a problem until now!
    The CPU on my MB died last month so I had to replace the CPU, MB (and I upgraded the memory).
    When I rebooted the new system (with my existing hard drive) Acrobat XI Pro now shows up as a trial version. Not regsitered, which it does show up as on the the Adobe website.
    What should I do?

    I am not PC illiterate, been building them there thangs fer nigh on 25 years.
    I don’t know how you could have responded within 2 minutes, unless your last name is Adobe.
    I was just afraid to try in case it got me into deeper water.
    Suspecting that you might be a member of the Adobe team or a very loyal Adobe fan (to have responded so quickly) I went for it.
    As you knew, yes it worked but I don’t feel foolish, sometime the better part of valor…, etc.

    I have been using CS6 master collection for about a year as a registered version; all of a sudden, when I started Photoshop this morning, I seem to have a trial version of Photoshop extended. When I enter the registration code the programme does not accept it.
    How to solve this?

  • CS6 upgrade suddenly will not load, telling me it is a trial version of CS6 Ext and I must register.

    I upgraded from CS5 to CS6 for my IMac.  I downloaded CS6 put in my serial number and it worked fine for a number of weeks.  Suddenly, when I went to use it it said it was a trial version.  I had to register it to use my CS6   I registered it and it worked,  but only as a trial version of CS6 Extended. I do not want CS6 Extended.  I deleted it from my hard drive and once again downloaded my upgrade of CS6 again with my serial number and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. Today, once again, it tells me it is a trial version and will not load unless I register the trial version. What the heck is going on? This is crazy.  I simply want to use CS6, for which I paid. Help!

    Why the hell is CC AGAIN telling me I am on a trial version (I am not and have never been) and asking me to login and register?
    This happened last year and I thought Adobe had fixed it but it has again been occurring for the past couple of weeks and it is EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!
    ... The Adobe CONTACT page is not working.  I just get "Select Your Adobe Product" and the little spinning thing saying "Loading" (but it never does).  It is NOT my connection.  Other pages and other websites are working just fine.

    Ah... I feel your pain. 
    I had to phone Adobe and spend an hour on the phone while they 'fixed' this (yet again) for me.
    So far so good... ring or 'live chat' 'em! ... it's the only way

    I remember a thread not so long ago in which the user was having problems getting rid of the Adobe watermark in the purchased Premiere Elements project.prel files. By any chance did you post this previously under a different Adobe Forum registration for Adobe ID and password? I do not recall the outcome of that thread that I think that I am recalling.
    You say that you have registered your Adobe product. How did you do that?
    a. After the installation and restart of the computer, were you greeted by a Sign In dialog which demanded your Adobe ID and password before you could get into the program? That meets the Adobe requirement for access to the program and also registers the product.
    b. If you get into the opened project and go to Expert workspace, Help Menu, do you find Sign In or Sign Out there?
    Please confirm that you are trying to remove the Adobe watermark from Premiere Elements project files (project.prel) in the purchased Premiere Elements and not exports of the tryout version.
    Please review and then we can decide what next.

    With Lightroom, I can only select "Try" under "Apps" in Creative Cloud, which does not seem  to recognise the registered LR5 key, although I'm logged in with the same email address.

    You need to get rid of the creative cloud application manager, and you need to get rid of Lightroom. The creative cloud version does not use a serial number. It depends on your Adobe ID and your Adobe password. After you uninstall Lightroom you can download from the following location and install this trial version:
    Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
    After you install it the trial splash screen will display and there is an option to indicate that you have a serial number. Choose that option and you will be able to enter your number.
    There are no free subscriptions to the creative cloud. There is a trial subscription you can use for 30 days. But when it expires the programs no longer work and you no longer have access to the Adobe creative cloud.
