Registering trial with design premium suite

I needed to install Dreamweaver CS4 immediately, so I installed the trial then purchased CS4 design premium. Now that I have it, I can't get Dreamweaver registered. The key for design premium doesnt work and when I run the install, I cant select Dreamweaver to install, presumably because it's already installed. Is there an easy way to get this registered without having to resort to an uninstall/reinstall? We have a bunch of plugins and workflow from another application integrated in that would break and have to be reconfigured all over if I have to uninstall Dreamweaver.

Hi, did anybody had already problems with the CS5.5 Design Premium Suite on OSX Lion? I purchased the software as a Volume licenced product recently and everything was working fine, until since few days my Indesign and Illustrator keep crashing on launch. I de-installed and re-installed the entire CS5 Suite on my iMac, but Indesign and Illustrator still keep on crashing while launching. I already rang the Adobe tech support but they are not very helpful at all... Its quite frustrating.

No problems here with CS5. After I upgraded to Lion I did update to 5.5 and still did not experience any problems. There are some handy articlles on Adobe's web site relating to compatability with Lion, but I have experienced none. Have you checked the third party plug-ins in Illustrator and InDesign for compatability if you have any installed?

Will Photoshop CS5 work with Adobe CS 4 Design Premium Suite?

I have been debating to upgrade just the Photoshop to CS5 from my CS4 Design Premium Suite. I still need training and skill development time with the other software in the suite, but feel pretty good with photoshop CS4 to upgrade to CS5. Will everything still work together or do I need to upgrade the whole suite? Thanks

The two applications will work together fine, but…
You CANNOT upgrade to a single, stand-alone application from a suite license under the terms of the EULA, which was clear when you bought the suite. When you bought the suite, you commited to upgrading the whole suite forever.
So, unless you have a license for a full version of stand-alone Photoshop that has never been used to upgrade to anything, you are stuck with the suite.
I've never bought the suite and use very different versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign with no problem.

I may have totally screwed myself but...after installing Yosemite without checking first, my CS4 Design Premium suite wouldn't open. So I deinstalled it, but I only have disks for my old CS3. When I got the CS4 upgrade I downloaded it. What can I do??

I cannot upgrade two Design Premium Suites from 5.5 to 6.0!
I have a Volume Licensing for several Adobe Products and now I want to upgrade two of the Design Premiums to 6.0. I have bought two Retail upgrades (with a little discount) but this not going to work.
The Support help Chat says that I cannot use a Retail Upgrade for a Volume Licensed Design premium.
Why? I haven't found any info about this. So after two hours a chatting with several persons at the Helpdesk I was provided with a phone number.
When I called this Phone Number they said my serial was not connected to my Account. Unbelievable because in my Account there are all the right Numbers.
This man said I had to call another number 08004438158 to solve my Problem. Connect to this Number is Impossible (not reachable)!
What to do? I cannot solve this problem with the Support Chatbox,
I cannot solve this with a support employee on the Phone and another Phone Number is not reachable.
I have paid a lot of Money throughout the years with Adobe Products. We are running 7 Design Premiums, Several Photoshops, several Adobe Servers Applications and two prescriptions of the CC.
And now nobody can help me with this problem????

Today I have done another attempt by Phone. From the Netherlands Customer Service I received a different telephone number for Support. It took a while this Morning and a little patience but at last I received two unlocking Codes. So I didn't need to start an Online Support Case.

Upgrade indesign from design premium suite to CS5.5 then to CS6

Hi, I have indesign cs5 as part of the design premium suite. The other in my office have cs3 and purchasing new copies of cs6. can i upgrade to cs6 without paying the £700 price tag? can I upgrade to cs5.5 for free and then pay for upgrade to cs6?

DHAArchitecture the complimentary period for upgrades from CS5 to CS5.5 expired some time ago. I am sorry but you will either want to look at upgrading to CS6 or consider a Creative Cloud membership. Creative Cloud Membership does also include CS6.

I just bought CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection on Tigerdirect.com. I noticed there wasn't any details about what version of software you can upgrade from (such as Master Collection or Design Premium etc) I currently have CS3 Design Premium Software (an upgraded version from CS1 or whatever). Will I be able to upgrade to the CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection by using my CS3 Design Premium serial number?

Install Acrobat only with Design Premium cs3 installer

I work at a school district that has a school that purchased a bunch of licences for Design Premium CS3. Howerver, many of the labs have decided that they only want Adobe Acrobat installed, and none of the other CS3 applications.
I have successfully created a install.xml file for adobe acrobat, however, there are still some cs3 apps that get deployed with it, such as Adobe Bridge, Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit, adobe device central, adobe stock photos, & Adobe Extend Manager.
If I try running the acroPro.msi directly from the payloads folder, the install wizard runs, but doesn't accept my Design Suite CS3 serial key.
Does anyone know how to get Acrobat 8 to be installed without the other CS3 apps? Thanks

There are certain components that get installed with the suite. I don't believe there's anything you can do about that without hacking the installer....something I wouldn't recommend given how poor the CS3 installers were to begin with.

Acrobat Pro with design premium will not start

Yesterday I downloaded CS4 Design Premium. All of the programs work except for Acrobat Pro. It displays the following: An internal server error occurred.
I have tried all of the usual things like restarting. Removing preferences, no luck. Uninstalling and restarting then reinstalling, no luck.
What am I missing? I am using a MacBook Pro 2.33ghz intel core duo, 2g ram, with OSX 10.5.8.

Well I solved my own problem.
Delete this file.
You can find it on this path.
After I removed the file everything worked fine.
I am not sure where this file came from but I know removing it fixed the problem.

I need to download the CS4 Design Premium Suite

ok... so I've been on the phone and in chat with Apple Tech support most of my day. I simply need to uninstall and re-install my CS4 suite. I have not opened the box with the DVD's since the original install and of course - the DVD's don't want to run/open/work.
I am a licensed user and simply need to install the suite. The prodesigntools.com download is dead.
PLEASE tell me there is another way to get this???
I understand Adobe doesn't provide support for this prodcut anymore - even though you can still download updates from adobe.com for various programs that are a part of this suite???
I just need a link - someone please help me.

Problems Installing Web and Design Premium Suite

Hi:
I need help. I purchased a student and teacher's verision of Web and Design Suite and was given a download link with 4 files- 3 exe files and 1 file (7z)- which is listed under file listing as a ZIP file. I have successfully downloaded all files. 2 of the 4 files open okay. These are the Illustrator and In Design font files. My default saving location is my desktop so both these folders appear there.
The problem is the Web and Design. exe file and the 4.5gb Web and Design 7z file. when clicked the exe file says- A problem occured while extracting some files, check available space on your computer and write privilleges on the destination folders. I tried changing the destination folders - not using my desktop as the final destination but this does not work. The file space on my computer is more than sufficient. For the 7s file when I click on it, it activiates Winzip but says it cannot open, does not seem to be a vaild archive.
I really need help urgent and need this programme to begin a course

CS4 Design Premium Suite Uninstall Error

I work in an enterprise network environment and am responsible for making 1 click installs of software programs. I have created an install package for Photoshop CS4 Extended using Uberinstaller. I needed to include uninstall functions for previous versions for Photoshop, (CS2, CS3, CS4 (individual and as part of the suite)). I have scripted the uninstalls of CS2/3 and the individual install of Photoshop CS4. When I try and script the uninstall of just the Photoshop in the CS4 Suite, the adobe setup returns error code 7. Here is part of my script where I am having problems.
"C:\program files\common files\adobe\installers\"that long string of random looking characters"\setup.exe" --uninstall=1 --mode=silent --deploymentFile="C:\photoshop.cs4.removal.xml"
This line works for the individually installed photoshop cs4, but not the photoshop that is installed as a suite. I have changed the "that long string of random looking characters" to reflect the different path for the "setup.exe". I can see setup.exe file running in task manager, but after a minute it ends, and I get the error code. The deploymentFile is the same as the one I used for the individual install of photoshop, since the adobe payload code is the same. Any ideas on why it won't uninstall?
