Registration didn't connect........
When I installed Leopard onto my MacBook Pro, when the registration window came up and I tapped the registration button, the little swirling icon just went around and around and didn't connect. I think I had the wireless connection off when the window came up, but turned it on when I saw it needed to be turned on. I cancelled out of it. Is this common, or is there something that I am missing? Also is there a way to register it again. I know that there is a place to register software and such, but not the actual Operating System. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You are trying to use an IP address already used by your "friend's" router and assigned to a different device.

i updated my itunes then i couldn't sync my iphone anymore, it shows me that i didn't connect my iphone to my computer, can i know why i can't sync my iphone??? should i reinstall the older version of itunes???

Only option is upgrading your Mac's OSX, since Apple will not allow iOS to go backwards.

When I started my ipad I didn't connect it to my iPhone, and now I want to. How do I do this without losing everything and so that my ipad messages will be sent to my iPhone!?!
Did you read the support article that I posted above? Your iPhone number is associated with your Apple ID, so this should be doable.... Unless your iPhone is associated with a different Apple ID. Then this will not work.
From the support article... You may have to sign out on the phone as well.
Phone number missing on iPad or iPod touch
If your phone number is not listed on an iPod touch or iPad, follow these steps:
Update to the latest version of iOS.
Verify that you're using the same Apple ID that you are using on your iPhone.
On your iPad or iPod touch, sign out of your Apple ID in the following locations:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Sign in to your Apple ID with FaceTime and iMessage.
If your phone number is still not listed, follow these steps:
Sign out of your Apple ID on all iOS devices, including your iPhone, in the following locations:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

I replaced my iphone4 with a new iphone4 because didn't connect to wifi or bluetooth. New phone connects to wifi, not bluetooth. How to fix?

Registration / inability to connect to register
I am using a legitimate Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0. The problem is when I go to register it, the registration fails with a small dialogue box saying it is unable to connect. I am actually connected with 3,000kbps broadband since the computer came, so I am at a loss to explain why it cannot connect so I can register the software. Does anybody have a clue what is happening? Thanks. :-)
My Adobe Photo shop Album Starter Edition 3.0 has this problem also. When I try to open it from the desktop it shows the registration form which I fill out then it says it can not connect to the web. I am on the web at the same time to the adobe web. then the thing freezes on my computer and will not click off. I have Windows XP and Dell computer. It works perfectly to open jpgs sent to me as attachments. Help anyone!?

Registration - No internet connection, but online
after installation of Photoshop elements 12 with generated code (http://www.adobe.com/go/getserial) and starting Photoshop elements, the program ask me to registrate me with my adobe-ID.
I see after a few minutes only the message: no internet connection.
My firewall an so on is inactive!

How to fix ur Ipod touch if it didn't connect to ur itunes
Here's one of the ways I fix mine after one month of frustration.I realized that if anyone just got Windows vista and has not formatted their computer then it will not load up because vista doesn't know what to update.So the best way is to format it but make sure u save your personal stuff on a USB drive or disc before fomatting ur computer so u still have all ur stuff and as for ur programs just reinstall it all again.
2.Or the other way is to go to another computer from ur friends or family who has windows xp and plug in ur ipod and it updates ur ipod touch on there computer to the new firmware 1.1.3 or u can add or edit ur music, movies and others from their computer.It will work on vista if u bought the computer with it but if u upgraded to vista then u need to format ur computer but make sure u save ur things first on USB or disc like music or documents.
This is just one of the ways if u need to listen to ur music or have ur things on ur ipod uploaded.I don't know if this will help but it work for me finally.Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I loaded Win 7 on my laptop and hadn't loaded I tunes yet when I updated my phone to IOS 6. It needed to sync and had to factory reset. I have loaded I tunes, logged on yet still can't get my apps or music to load on my phone again? I have added the I tunes back-up to the folder on my newly loaded PC? Any suggestions before I go to the apple store and use the F word.
The same thing happened to my poor sister, and she is panicking because of all of her photos of her "daughter growing up" that will be lost. It seems that this has happened to several people already, and I REALLY hope that Apple figures this out so that it doesn't force all of these people to completely reset their devices. I tried connecting to my phones hotspot and the first time it didn't connect. I tried again and it worked fine but the message saying it didn't work was still there. After a day it is still there and my computer even died and when it charged again the message was still there. My computer won't allow me to shut down or restart because i can't close the system preferences. What do I do?

Is there any problem I should be aware of before I try to connect a second Ipod to my Itunes library? I know my first Ipod had to be registered or, whatever, but have recently purchased another Ipod for work and didn't want to screw anything up trying to download my Itunes library.
Thanks for the help!Wow, someone with a sense of humor! Yes, I figured it would at sometime end up there, with me hooking up the ipod to the computer, but........... I wasn't sure if the ipod registration when you connect to Itunes would do something other than just download the music.
Hopefully you can also agree that the documentation that comes with these devices leave a lot of questions to be answered, but with folks like you out there, we are all safe...

No longer connects to Windows 7 after update
I selected update a couple of days ago (March 26) and my phone updated. Now, it won't connect via USB to any of my Windows 7 computers. In my Device Manager, my portable devices shows a warning symbol on the MTP Device. Removing the driver and allowing the MTP driver to reinstall doesn't work. This happens on the two Windows 7 computers (one is ultimate) I have. MediaSync on my phone says it didn't connect and shows a red exclamation mark in notifications and asks if I want to try again. I try again, and the Media Sync symbol disappears but my phone still isn't connected.
Any suggestions on how to solve? (Is there some where in the phone that I make sure MediaSync acts as a drive when plugged into USB?)
Any apps that will allow me to bypass the problem?
Thanks,I also can't get the media sync to connect after the update. I can get the mass storage to work with no issue, but media sync is having issues.
Every time I connect with media sync, Windows 7 pops up a message stating that the driver failed to load and to contact Samsung. So I contacted Samsung support, which was completely useless.
I need the media sync to work because that's the only way I've found to get DRM-protected media files to transfer properly to my Charge. If I copy them to my phone while in mass storage mode, I can't play them because there is a licensing error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! -
Ok, I'll try to flesh this out as much as I can.
I can't connect to the iTunes store. It says "connection timed out." I can't connect to the CDDB either.
I downloaded another program, FreeRIP, so that I could rip a CD using a CDDB, but that didn't connect to any CDDB either.
Then I noticed that Symantec Antivirus was not connecting to the internet either (via Live Update), saying "LU1814: LiveUpdate could not retrieve the catalog file of available Symantec product and component updates. Please verify that you are able to connect to the Internet and run LiveUpdate again."
I AM, however, connected to the internet. I'm using my computer right now. Firefox and IE work fine.
I think this may have started after I uninstalled Norton Antivirus 2008. But honestly I don't know.
I have a PC, using windows Vista (I know, I know, it was cheap.)
Any help at all would be so much appreciated.

GI keep getting this same message and so has hundreds of other people in other countries. I am in the US Air Force located in the UK right now, but i have also noticed that this problem is happening in the US as well. I was using the store and purchasing songs and it just cut out on me with the message below. I cannot even conduct a diagnostic test. It just shuts down iTunes.
iTunes could not connect to the ITunes Store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again.
Remedies that I have tried with no success:

uninstalled
reparied
checked hundreds of forums
checked firewalls
removed pop up blockers
checked anti-virus software
flushed DNS
renamed host files
