Registration invalid

I have downloaded my Photoshop Lightroom 5 using a software download card I purchased when I bought my new laptop, but when I try to use the program, I am instructed to register it and it then says my registration number is invalid. I see many people with the same problem, but have not seen an answer. I also cannot find a way to talk to an actual customer service rep. I just keep getting directed back to these forums. How can I speak to a live human being to fix this registration problem?

Bought Pro- can't install-says registration invalid

I purchased quicktime pro and when i enter my reg key and my name it tells me that my reg is invalid. i am signed in as the admin user when i do this. i type in everything exactly as it is in my registration confirmation email. i don't know what else to do and the apple support line has so far been useless because they never answer the phone. help and thanks.

Problems Rregistering NetBeans

I have just installed JAVA and NetBeans on my machine at work.
When I attempt to register I get:

I have reset my password and tried again - same password and account that gets me here (I know it works)
I have tried several times and cannot get it registered.

I have same problem. I do successful registration for Java, but unsuccessful for NetBeans.
I tried to request new password few times, no luck.
Few years ago I created separated accounts for Java and NetBeans. Today Oracle forwards me to one common registration page. Probably the problem relates to this difference.

"Software setup" asking for registration number, and saying it is invalid

I registered my CS4 with Adobe in August 09 and have been using it ever since. Until today when trying to open InDesign I get a window that says Software Setup wants my registration code. It says I have two options - Use this on a trial basis, or enter registration code, which I did and it says it's invalid.
It seems that InDesign is the only app that won't open and gives me this window. It doesn't say it's an error, just that I need to enter my reg code.
I didn't buy from Adobe, but if it was pirated wouldn't they have been able to tell when I registered it?
I started a case with Adobe support, but from what I'm reading I don't expect much!
Any Ideas?

I have tried this tool three times and no luck. Adobe says my software came with a pc/laptop that I purchased and I need to get help from the vendor I bought it from. Only I didn't buy a pc or laptop from the vendor. I have emailed the vendor, it's an online store, and they haven't responded, yet.
I have reopened the case with Adobe. Just hope I don't have to buy ID again!

I'm stuck here trying to figure this error out.
2003 domain, 2012 hyper v core 3 nodes. (I have two of these hyper V groups, hvclust2012 is the problem group, hvclust2008 is okay)
In Failover Cluster Manager I see these errors, "Cluster network name resource 'Cluster Name' failed registration of one or more associated DNS name(s) for the following reason: The handle is invalid."
I restarted the host node that was listed in having the error then another node starts showing the errors.

Then this error shows up when doing the repair: there was an error repairing the active directory object for 'Cluster Name'
I looked at our domain controller and noticed I don't have access to local users and groups. I can access our other hvclust2008 (both clusters are same version 2012).

I restarted 3 hosts after applying the hotfix. Then I did the steps below and got stuck on step 5. That is when I get the error (image above). There
was an error repairing the active directory object for 'Cluster Name'. For more data, see 'Information Details'.
To reset the password on the affected name resource, perform the following steps:
From Failover Cluster Manager, locate the name resource.
Right-click on the resource, and click Properties.
On the Policies tab, select If resource fails, do not restart, and then click OK.
Right-click on the resource, click More Actions, and then click Simulate Failure.
When the name resource shows "Failed," right-click on the resource, click More Actions, and then click Repair.
After the name resource is online, right-click on the resource, and then click Properties.
On the Policies tab, select If resource fails, attempt restart on current node, and then click OK.

Error "Registration information is invalid" when you start Premiere Elements 7 (Windows)

Issue
When you start Adobe Premiere Elements 7 for the first time, Premiere Elements returns the error message "Registration information is invalid. Please reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements."
Solution
Do one of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Install Premiere Elements 7 using the Premiere Elements 7 serial number.
If you purchased Premiere Elements bundled with Photoshop Elements, you may have used the Photoshop Elements serial number included in the pack to install Premiere Elements. Uninstall Premiere Elements and reinstall Premiere Elements using the Premiere Elements serial number.
Note: The Premiere Elements serial number starts with the number set 1143. The Photoshop Elements serial number starts with the number set 1057.
Solution 2: Use a Company Name with 40 single-byte characters or fewer, or 20 double-byte characters or fewer.
When installing Premiere Elements, you are asked to provide a user name, a company name, and a serial number. While the company name field is not a required field for installation, if you choose to enter data, do not enter a name that contains more than 40 single-byte characters or more than 20 double-byte characters.
Note: A single-byte character is any character in the standard ASCII character set. English language characters are all single-byte characters. Double-byte character code uses two bytes to represent one character. The double-byte character set was developed for the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean characters sets. Many extended ASCII characters are also double-byte.
Solution 3: Install Premiere Elements to a location that does not contain extended ASCII characters in the file path.
Do not install Premiere Elements to a location that uses extended ASCII characters in the file path. Extended ASCII characters include characters such as , –, ›, †, ‡, ‘, Ÿ.
Note: The default installation path for Adobe Premiere Elements does not contain extended ASCII characters.

Thanks. I thought of that. But won't I get whammied for registration again? I just registered this at adobe last month after rebuilding a crashed system. In other words, will Adobe know that I've uninstalled it, and therefore have an available license? Thanks for the welcome. Kicked out of CS6 - registration number suddenly invalid

Hi, after using my CS6 MS for over a year I suddenly got a pop up: register for trial version. Huh? Got a legitimate home version from reseller, full wax, registration number got accepted without problems. Have uninstalled cs after browsing this forum (using adobe instructions), but now upon reinstalling my serial number appears to be invalid. It's like I can't get into my own house.

Well, I ended up doing what I had previously mentioned. I went through my computer and uninstalled everything to do with CS6 and even a few CS4 programs I found. Then I even had the CS5 programs even though that is what I was planning on reinstalling onto my computer. After getting rid of all traces of those programs from my computer, I reinstalled my CS5 from a disc and entered the serial # as I normally would and it worked! It didn't tell me I had an invalid serial # anymore and it didn't tell me I had to get CC. The downside is that I am back to using CS5 even though I have paid for CS6, but at least I can still use the programs I need until I figure out what I want to do for a long term fix of this issue. Can't register upgraded Quicktime Pro (invalid registration) Now what?

Just upgraded to Quicktime pro. I'm running the current Quicktime 7 Player. Followed instructions, went to system preferences, opened Quicktime registration, filled out info, then entered number given to me by Apple for Quicktime Pro. Then I opened Quicktime, and then INVALID REGISTRATION came up in the registration icon. Tried it four times. Even copied the registration # from Apple receipt but still the same message: INVALID REGISTRATION.
Can anyone help???

HT3805 I have Aperture 3 installed and have used it for a while. Now when I try to open it, the licensing window appears asking for the registration #. Yet it says it's invalid. (I have the # from Aperture on another computer.) Any ideas?

Sometimes look-alike characters may be confused, also you may need to enter the previous registration numbers as well, if your Aperture version is an upgrade to Aperture 2 or 1.

Registration Key Invalid - Quicktime for MAC

I purchased Quicktime Pro for Windows sometime ago and I'm now trying to unlock the Pro features on a MacBook Pro within OS X and I'm getting an "invalid registration" message when using the Pro Key for Windows. Do I need a separate unique key for Quicktime Pro for MAC?

That way it's always been, different keys for different platforms.
I can't think of any software developer that provide you keys for both platforms. For example; photoshop.

how do i get by this problem of having the program reject what is suppose to be a valid generic registration number.

download 2.0 and had been using it until system crash and restore by dell,
causing current problem of new download that when installing and trying to

number I had use before and is the one on their site.
i am not a business, just a 67 year old trying to edit some video. you

My problem is the same as one previously posted but I'm not looking for a clean uninstall but a way forward to using software I already have i.e. Premiere Elements 1.0 and 2.0 - help please.

After motherboard upgrade, I can't start Premiere Elements 1.0. Gives error message "Registration information is invalid. Please reinstall Premiere Elements." Reinstallation goes fine but after computer restart, program returns same error message. When attempting to uninstall the program, the uninstallation stops at 3/4 way - gives error message "Error 14.02.Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Premiere Elements\1.0\Preset. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel." I am the only user and have full administrator rights. I would like to manually uninstall the pogram but need a list of all the keys in the registry and elsewhere.

Apple Gave Me Invalid Registration Code!

ok soo i bought quicktime pro and when i went to put my registration code and registered user name in it says invalid now i thought it could be a simple typing error..No it wasnt i retyped it 10+ times and then i copy and pasted the info from the email into the information bars. i called to get some support from the o so reliable people at apple and they say my 90 day courtesy support is up soo i either have to troubleshooot online or pay that ridiculous price of $50 to fix i problem. This has not been the first problem ive had with my iMacG5 and I doubt it will be my last. If any of you big hearted people out theyre would have any info on what i can do pleez tell me

Since you have already done what most often seems to solve this problem, there is not much else to say. Other things that are sometimes suggested are to repair permissions, delete the old QT Preferences file, and if all else fails, download and run a new QT installer.
This page has links to both a 7.04 standalone installer and a 7.01 reinstaller. Hopefully, one or the other will work for you.
