Registration Key - How to obtain?

How do I obtain the registration key for my software? I received Oracle 9i in a database I am currently enrolled in and was told to sign up for a new account and that the key would be sent to my email address, however, I have yet to recieve any registration key. Am I missing something?

I experienced the same problem. Does anyone know what email address I should use to report this problem? I believe I haven't received the product registration key via email even though the system said an email has been sent to my address... so I tried to register for the same ISBN many times, it has been more than 3 days but I haven't received any email

Problems with Registration Key, VB 2008 Express Edition

VB 2008 Express Edition. Installed on a pc using Windows 8. Problem with registration key.
I was given an executable program by a colleague that had already been used and I am currently making changes to the program to fit the specifics of my project. Thirty days after I started analyzing/manipulating the code, when I tried to open the program
a pop-up came up that stated that I needed a registration key. When I click on the link on the pop-up to try to obtain a registration key, the link takes me to a page that states "the page doesn't exist" (http://www.microsoft.com/404.htm).
That said, instead of trying to obtain a registration key I then downloaded a new version of VB 2008 Express Edition from Microsoft DreamSpark. I successfully downloaded the program. The website stated that if I ever needed a registration key, I could obtain
it from within the program. However, even still, when I try to open up VB, the pop-up still comes up that states that I need a registration key.
Does anyone have any suggestions or quick fixes? Thanks

I'm not sure that registration keys are available any more for the 2008 version. There have been three versions since then (2010, 2012 and 2013) and a fourth (2015) is currently being previewed.
Is there any reason why you can use the current version? Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition is free for individuals and small companies.

If you are running Windows 7:
1) Go to Windows Explorer. Click 'Tools' then 'Folder Options'
2) Click 'View' Tab
3) Click radio button, 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives
4) close Windows Explorer
5) Re-open Windows Explorer
6) Naviagate to folder 'C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\QuickTime\'
7) Delete the file, 'com.apple.QuickTime.plist'
Note: This file is readable in notepad and contains the registration name and serial key.
8) Reopen Quicktime Pro and the registration is now blank

Cs3 activation failed with original registration key. How to proceed?

Try to re-install CS3 (or a couple of its components) and the system rejects the original registration key. How to overcome this problem?

Tried the CHAT box support of Adobe and they came with the following:

Amazingprojectmanagement I have increased the activation count for your CS3 software.
It does look like you have never registered your Creative Suite 3 software. I would recommend you registered your software under your account at http://www.adobe.com/. You can find additional details at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.

How to obtain hardware key during first installation?

I'm installing SAP Netweaver 7.0 and got stucked when the installer requested Solution Manager Key. I went to SAP site to generate the key and there I was requested the hardware key. As far as I understand, the hardware key may be obtained using saplicense program but I don't have it installed yet.
How can I provide the hardwaer key during installation?

You need solution manager system to generate the installer key..
Login into Solution manager system - and enter T-code SMSY
You may need to do the following steps:
1. Create a system by right clicking on System entry and select Create new system.
Enter the System Name i.e., SID (3 chars)
Product = (select from the list you which to install)
Product Version= (select from the list you which to install)
Save the entries.
2. Select Menu Item "System--->Other Configuration" and enter the SID which you have created earlier.
Enter the Server Name(hostname)
Finally click on Generate "Installation/Upgrade Key Button "
The system generates a Key ,copy that Key and paste it in the SAPINST screen when it prompts for Solman Key.

How long will my registration key last this time?

I got the PRO registration key to QT6 and in less than a month apple upgrades to QT7, my key won't work now. I don't mind paying for a new key, I like the new features but, how long is the key going to last this time? A few full versions I hope.

A few misconceptions about the "Pro" upgrade.
First. Your "Pro" registration will continue to work as long as your hardware and OS allow it.
I still use QT 5 Pro on my OS 9 hard drive partition. In addition to version 6 Pro.
On my Tiger OS HD I use both 6.5.2 and 7.0.3 Pro versions. 6.5.2 runs "on top" of the version 7 "framework".
All it takes is a bit of understanding of how the OS and the software apps are installed to keep your older version of QuickTime and maintain the "Pro" features.
BTW, my iMac G3 has version 6.5.2 Pro (from my original install and upgrade) and a new install of the "free" version 7.
Basic answer? Your Pro status will remain until your install QuickTime 8.0. Apple has been very consistent in the whole number version change before charging again for Pro features.

when using transactions MIRO the currency is always taken from the purchase order.
You can consider of maintaining a MIRO screen variant, which includes a default currency (SAP note 363818).

How many registration keys come with the new Final Cut Studio

Hi I'm thinking of buying the new final cut studio and am trying to find out how many registration keys come with the box. I have 2 others in the family that would use it on their comps as well, and my friend had gotten the previous version of final cut studio 2 (final cut pro 6) and said it came with 3 keys inside, which would be great for me. So I'm just making sure that's true. Thanks.
Also you can bring final cut pro 6 files from another computer onto a computer with final cut pro 7 and still work on them right?

Your friend is a pathological lier (or delusional - sometimes it's hard to tell the difference).
FCP is licensed for one laptop and one desktop as long as:
1. Both machines are owned by YOU (your inlaws don't count as you)
and
2. They are not used at the same time.
If your family wants FCS, time for them to purchase their own copies. (Apple has dropped the price so low that even Junior High School students can afford their own copies now.)
Yes, FCP6 files will open without issue on FCP7. The reverse is not true.

How to enter QuickTime Pro registration key in Windows 7?

I purchased a registration key for QuickTime Pro, but I'm not sure where to enter it on my Windows 7 machine. I have found these directions:

But that's for another version of Windows (XP? Vista?). Windows 7 Control Panel doesn't look like that, and I'm not sure where I can access the QuickTime 7 Control Panel to enter the registration key. Any advice?

I've gotten 2 emails. One, confirming my apple store purchase, and the other email telling my my credit card has been charged.
BUT, no email yet with the Registration key.
I ordered it about 18 hours ago.
When I check my status in my apple account, it says it was electronically delivered. But, I can't pull it up anywhere.

In some cases, it has been discovered that updates (from AppWorld obtained apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please attempt this:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > Delete
AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if it shows at all, in any state) > > Delete
Use either your PC (via Mass Storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > > Explore) and find any references (folders, files) to the app. Delete whatever you find. Search both your Device Memory as well as your Media Card.
Use the above AppWorld user guide link to re-install the app -- a new registration/activation key should then be provided
On the other hand, if you did not purchase via AppWorld, then you need to contact whatever place it was that you did purchase from.

how can I use the "dblic.exe" command in the CMD?
dblic.exe -k xxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx dbsrv12.lic
could the above command be valid after obtaining the Registration Key?

Here's a rule of thumb for dblic: It never works first time. Ever.
Have a look at the examples here: dblic.exe
Chances are, the full path for the *.lic file is required, along with user name and company. Let the utility tell you what it wants by repeatedly running it and reading the error messages.
What's the worst that can happen? Probably that you're still stuck with the Developers Edition... hard to imagine making things worse.

Oracle 10g registration key

first at all, sorry by my poor english.
I wanted to install the 10g and self-study guide that Oracle sent me in the mail. The install requires a registration key, made available at oracle.com.
After filling in all the forms required to register, I wind up at a "Survey Error", and of course no key.
If Oracle 10g it is free, why asking for a registration key ??.
How I can solve this problem ?
Exist any trick to install it ?

I know that Oracle isn't free, sorry it was my error.
I received the Oracle 10g Database + Software + Self-Study guide from the Oracle Company via Postal.
When I try to install the database, a windows appear asking for the registration key...
I follow the instructions to receive by email the key, but when completing the steps give me an error (404 page not found).
Consequently I do not obtain the key and I cannot install
the database.
