Registration Swatch 'Passermarken' in English US version

I'm using English US version of Illustrator CS6, and received files originally created in the German version. Now all of the files have '[Passermarken]' for the Registration color, but I need it to say 'Registration'. Everything else is in English. I've scoured the preferences for a way to change the language, but to no avail. Also, in the character palette, the dictionary language states German 2006. When I change it to English, and resave the file, it reverts back to German 2006. Is there any way to correct these issues?

That is really strange.
I would try and copy the art to a new file. Use the "remember layer" setting when pasting if necessary.

Yes.
The Middle Eastern version of InDesign is fully capable of producing "standard" English LTR layouts as well as ME RTL layouts.

Yes.
Since CS4, both the RTL and LTR layout of InDesign ME can be opened by the non-ME version (or the "standard Western English version" as you refer to it) since all the RTL functionallty set to the document by the ME version is supportted by the non-ME version.

Nothing special I can think of.

Registration swatch gone?

All of the sudden the Registration swatch in my palette is gone and everything that was colored registration like register marks are now 100,100,100,100. I thought you couldn't remove the registration swatch!?

Is it possible to update the english trial version of LR to a full version with the serial number of a boxed german version of LR?

just called adobe. it wont be possible. They told me to wait till the German Version is available... Then unistall the Trial and install the German Version.

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Cannot download English trial version

I get this same error message when I try to download it, but I have purchased the full version and have a license key. I get this error screen when I try to download it from both Safari and Chrome on a Mac running OSX. A screenshot is attached.

Using German key for US English iWork08 version

Hello,
I am new in the MAc world and have a question. I purchased a MacBook with US English OS X and used a US English iWork08 trail. Now I would like to purchase a key to use iWork. But if I log on to Apple I am forwarded to the German Apple Store. And here is my question: Can I use a German product key for the English iWork version?

There is no German iWork.
There is a single package able to run in:
Dutch
English
French
German
Italian
Japanese
Spanish
zh_CN
So the key bought in Germany will apply. Mine was bought in France.

Although I have downloaded the English-language version of Firefox, the bookmarks settings appear in Dutch. How do I change this?

I downloaded the Dutch version first, then realized I needed the English-language version. OK, uninstalled then installed the correct ones. All settings now appear in English except that the bookmarking/favorites settings are still in Dutch. Any way to change to English?

You can check the order of the installed Languages.
*Firefox > Preferences > Content > Languages
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

English language version of creative cloud

Hi I´ve just signed up for creative cloud in spain, with a discount version for having a previous product. It costs around 37 euros and I was offered an english only version of 34 euros which I accepted. Is there anyway I can see that in my product details?

Do I get English language versions when I purchase through the Latin America website?

Earlier in the year I upgraded to Photoshop CS6 and LR5. I've always used the English language versions and am considering moving to the Creative Cloud, but, as a resident of Puerto Rico, I must purchase from your Latin America website. My questions is: are all applications in English or am I forced to use the Spanish version?

For anyone in Puerto Rico who wants Creative Cloud I have a work around and have discovered the problem. First the problem: When I could not order CC online the reason was that the address in my profile had the country listed as Puerto Rico and you cannot change country as it is based on your address. After many calls to customer service and the help here online from Beverly, I noticed my country had been switched to United States (which is correct as Puerto Rico is not a country) and my State/Province was now PR. That allowed the logic on the ordering page to process that I was in USA and it provided me with the proper order form. Adobe really should run an Update Query on their database and move all the IDs that have Puerto Rico as their country to USA and their state equal to PR.
For the work around: Log on from a US recognized network. My friend had the same problem but instead of going through the hassle of all the calls and emails that I did we just used her iPhone on the AT&T 3G network. The website logic recognizes this as a United States network and the proper order form appears. Likewise if you have access to a Federal network and can surf the web on their system it will produce the order form. If you use Onelink or PRT/Claro and probably the local ISPs the website logic assumes you are logging on from outside the USA and the form doesn't appear and you are prompted to call Sales, who will NOT sell to PR over the phone.

English Safari version

Tried several different ways to download the English version without success. Apparently many other people living in non-English speaking countries are having the same problem.
Is there any way to pull it off? If not, then I'll have to ditch Safari and keep Firefox.

How do I download English-language version of Acrobat XI

When I first signed up with Creative Cloud, CS6 would only download in Chinese versions. After two days and a telephone conference call, the problem went away. Now, with the latest Acrobat, it is back again.
Why?

Unserialized versions wioll use the system language, serialized ones the one dictated by the serial number. Creative Cloud products use the language defined in teh application manager. Set it to English and reinstall.

Macromedia Flash Professional 8 trial, english windows version. Download not working?

Is anyone else having this issue? Everytime I try to click the download button on the windows english version of the flash 8 trial it does nothing. When clicked it tries to load something, but doesn't end up doing anything. I've tried using different browsers (I use firefox mainly) but it still does the same thing. Can anyone help?

Although it seem legitimate, I think it is mainly for historical purposes - maybe an orphan page :-). You should use the following link:

in order to download the software. The other links to flashbasic, a version of the software that isn't used anymore. If you are trying to get an old version in order to publish to an older version of the player, you shouldn't have any problems with the new version. You can set the target player under File > Publish Settings ... in the program.

Yes, you can change the App installation language through Creative Cloud Preferences.
Under "Apps" tab you get the option to change the App language. Please refer following screenshot.

I need english Firefox version 22

I've read every answer to every question about downgrading Firefox. This time I want to upgrade from 19.0.2 to Firefox 22. I know where the index of versions reside. What I don't know is how to identify the English version. I want to download the full version... no stubs please. I've found three different setup.exe... one is empty, and the other two are not in English.
Can someone please point me to the correct directory so I can upgrade to version 22. I use Kaspersky virus software and they seriously cannot keep up with Mozilla updates. So I stay several versions behind. I would change my virus protection BUT I won't ever use Norton again as they allowed trojans onto my machine. I'd rather have Kaspersky but they're not updating their password manager or tool bars as fast as Mozilla.
Any help here? I really am a Firefox fan and would like to stick with it.

Again... I cannot find the English version. I knew about this directory.
