Reimbursement type not displaying on India Claims Application

Dear Experts,
We are implementing SAP EHP5 for India and want to use Claims application on ESS.
After doing all the configurtation still we are not able to see Reimbursement Types on ESS.
Please let me know the possible reason for the same.

you could check with this in backend its coming or not?
The pernr's which you have specified probably does not have the eligibility
for any of the reimbursement types. This can be checked by running the
"HINCREMS" report for the pernr.

ESS Claims: Reimbursement types not appearing in portal

Hi ESS Experts,
I have done al the configuration required for Claims functionality and it was working fine also.
Now I am not able to see cliam list in ESS application. I using Java Application.
T7INT9 and A9 tables are cofigured and eligibility is showing in HINCREMS also
Kindly provide the solution.

Transacction types not displaying in the popup

After system upgrade from crm 7.0 to ehp3, transaction types are not displaying upon clicking New button and create follow up buttons. I have checked the spro settings and compared with 7.0 system. There are no changes.
In the debugging in the method GET_PROC_TYPE_CUST of class CL_CRM_UIU_BT_GET_PROC_TYPES, i found the entries in the internal table getting deleted as the navigation is not supported. Am having the entries in lt_proc_type_t.

Hi Chiru,
please check below configuration.
1. go to spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types
2. mark your Z transaction type
3. in navigation bar on the left side click on Channel
4. add channel GUI CRM WEBCLIENT UI
and one more thing check inactive check box should be empty.

Images do not display in Acmevideo sample application WebApp_8i.jws

The JDeveloper 3 Acmevideo web application for Oracle8i is a nice-looking web application.
There is a syntax fault in the Java source files WebAppReports.java, WebApp.java of the JDeveloper 3 workspace WebApp_8i.jws
In the file acmevideo_deploy.properties I used something like this:
...imageURL=http://oashost:80/acmeimages/...
All occurrences of "/topmovie.gif", "/onoracle.gif","/filmsquare.gif" in the java source files WebAppReports.java, WebApp.java should be replaced by "topmovie.gif","onoracle.gif","filmsquare.gif". Otherwise these images will not display correctly in the web application.
I would like to know when Oracle will provide a tutorial on servlet deployment of the acmevideo web application to Oracle Application Server.
I understand that by providng a Java Webserver servlet deployment example the JDeveloper customer is not dependent on Oracle Application Server as web server.
How to deploy the acmevideo servlet to Oracle Application Server 4.0.8.1?

For our next release, we are actually removing the Acme Video sample application. It will be replaced with the Web Auctions demo, which was used at the most recent Oracle Open World conference.
Instructions for deploying DBServlets to OAS 4.0.8.1 are included in the JDeveloper 3.0 release notes.

Condition type not displaying in po

I have defined a new condtion type copied frm FRC1 and in prociing sechme , i have not ticked that cond type in manul column.
when i do po, i not geting that new condition type in po condiition tab.

Firat check if the condition typw is present in the pricing procedure and check if this pricing procedure is been picked up in the PO by going into condition tab and then click on analysis button. check if ur condition type is displayed here.
Logic is that in case if you maintain the condition type as manual then the condition type will be automatically appears in the condition tab. In case if it is not manual then you have to maintain a condition record for this condition type, then only the condition type will appear. Or you can maintain this condition in the inforecord and it automaticlly gets picked up in the PO.

Image UI element is not displayed in Abap webdynpro application

Hi Experts,
I need your advice on below issue.
I have created new ABAP Webdynpro application just to
display employee photo.
When loading the application, I generated a dynamic URL for
a image in webdynpro application path in cache to map to Image UI Element. It
is working well in DEV and QA environment. But it is not displaying when loaded
in PRD system.
Please suggest where to check the cache properties in system
in order to resolve this issue.
The user can access the application path, is there any chance for security issue in the same path?
I suspect the URL is cleared before user access it, can it be controlled via any config?

Favicon.ico image does not display consistently for our application,

We have configured a favicon.ico for our application as below code snippet and referring to the favicon.ico image correctly. The icon file is available in our war file post deployment. The problem is some times it displays correctly and sometimes it does not display correctly.

Browser caching might be a problem, but we can't help as it is a browser issue. All I can say is to clear the browser cache and see if the problem can be reproduced. If yes it doesn't look like a browser problem. Then you have to check if you are connection via proxy which might cache images too. Ask your network admin for help then.
Do you see this problem only with one browser? Have you check other browsers?

I had a similar situation. There is a standard report that may help you, on its documentation you will see to see how to run it (through se38), report: RPR_UPDATE_TRAVEL_STATISTICS
In my case we detect that there was a difference for the "reimburse ammount" shown in the Travel Expense manager" and the ammount shown in "Simulation". My case the amount shown in the simulation is OK, What is wrong the u201Creimburse amountu201D showed in the Travel expense Manager.
Still i don't have it solved. If someone could help, it would be nice.

Type not displaying correctly when publishing

I have a Flash MX file which I created a couple of years ago.
I edited it (in MX) and when I published the .swf, the type only
displayed every other letter or so. Any one know what the problem
is and how to fix it. The type face was Avante Garde Italic, if
that matters.

Fiori Approve Timesheets - Activity Type not Displayed

According to the BPD document for the Approve Timesheets App, the Activity Type should be displayed in the details area of the timesheet.
However, when a user selects the details option, the following is displayed.

Thank you for supplying these notes. They look like exactly what I need. We have implemented Fiori App My Timesheet and Approve Timesheet, but during the approval process, the approving manager cannot see what kind of time (attendance type) is being approved. All of the days shown below were entered as 8hrs of sick time, but that doesn't show up anywhere.
I was able to install the first OSS note 1994214 on the ECC back-end, but when I try to install 1994889 on the gateway, it won't because it can't find the right place to insert the new code in many objects.
I could find no prerequisite notes that were not already installed. Incidentally, the code it was looking for in the first one was a copyright notice for 2013, but instead the code had a copyright notice going to 2014.
We just installed UIX01HCM SP03. Was this OSS note included in that support pack? If so, it doesn't look like was effective because we are still not seeing any attendance types in the approval app.

Sharepoint 2013 and SSRS 2012 Integration - Report Server Content Types not displayed

Hello, Everyone:
I installed SSRS 2012 on our Sharepoint 2013 application server following the step-by-step instruction from the posting below:

Everything goes well after STEP 3 is completed.
I did see the reporting services started and SSRS service application created.
However, when I created a new site and tried to enable the predefined Reporting Services content types, I do not see the Shared data source (.rsds) files, report models (.smdl), and Report Builder report definition (.rdl) 3 types of files listed at
all.
Further more, when I go to the Provision Subscriptions and Alerts page, I keep getting a "SQL Server Agent state cannot be determined" error, even though the username and password provided is the admin user
for the database.
Any experience of what is wrong with the SSRS - Sharepoint integration? Please help!

I guess I'm a little confused about what is being asked for the Provision Subscriptions and Alerts page.
The user I provided on the Provision Subscriptions and Alerts page is my user-defined sysadmin role. And the page takes that.
When I downloaded the SQL script, it was trying to give the automatically generated user "sa-SPDevContentAppPo" permission.
Which user are we using to detect the SQL Server Agent?

[Solved] Characters not displaying correctly in some applications

When I read things in applications like Firefox I've noticed that sometimes the " symbol is displayed wrong. Sometimes it is shown as what I can only describe as two forward-ticks stuck together (it won't let me paste it), and other times as two back-ticks ``. When I try to paste code over to the rxvt-unicode terminal the forward-tick symbol is displayed as a question mark, as are some other special symbols like maths characters. So I have two questions: are there any terminals that support such special characters? And is my character display problem related to setting up my locales correctly (which I think I already have)?
I followed the steps on the wiki for setting up locales. I uncommented "en_GB.UTF-8 UTF-8" and "en_GB ISO-8859-1" in /etc/locale.gen, ran locale-gen as root, and added LOCALE="en_GB.utf8" to /etc/rc.conf and "export LANG=en_GB.utf8" to my .zshrc. locale -a shows that the correct locales are installed.

Type 'locale' on the console to find out your locale. Mine is en_GB.utf8.
Now add the following to your shell profile or ~/.xinitrc.
I already had this in my .zshrc:
export LANG=en_GB.utf−8
But I think the LC variable was overriding it. I Changed my LC_ALL to:
export LC_ALL=en_GB.utf8
(It was set to LC_ALL=C before).
The above fixes copy/paste to most terminal apps, but some still misbehave. For example, I had to add this to ~/.emacs:

External Content Type not displaying List.

I am getting the following Error when i go to the External Content Type List i Created.
Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.
When i open it up in Sharepoint Designer and look at the page i get this error.
soap:ServerException of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown.An error has occurred.
I'm connecting to a SQL Server with sql server credentials. I'm able to see the tables and columns in the Data Source Explorer.
The permissions for the Content Type are all authenticated Users with everything checked.

How did you supply username and password to the external content type?
As i know, there are four options (user's identity, BDC's identity, impersonate windows identity, impersonate custom identity), you cannot directly input the SQL username and password.
I suggest you to use impersonate custom identity.
Before using it, you need to create a new target application ID in secure store service application. and select
user name and password for filed type at second step. after that, you need to set credentials for this target application ID to input your sql user name and password there.
Then you need to input this target application ID at connection properties (both default and client tabs) of the external content type.

Type not displaying on website

After I publish my muse project to the web, on either my server on in catalyst, when page initially comes up, the type is not being displayed. If I refresh the page, it does appear. ( but I can't very well tell my viewers to do this to view my website.) This needs to be fixed. (I'm using a font called Open SANS). It's happening in multiple projects. Anyone have a clue as to whats going on? one of the issue sites is at http://www.vicontest.com
