Reinstaaling vista after format doesn't work !

Hello,
I've big troubles with my motherboard P7N diamond with reinstalling vista 64 bits.
I have 3 HD :
1) Western Digital Raptor 150 GB 10.000 TM 16 MB cache SATA
2) Seagate 300 GB 7.200 TM 8 MB cache SATA
3) Western Digital 160 GB IDE
I have installed the SATA drivers available on MSI website and the bios version is 1.1.
I've format the 2 WD HD with Vista DVD.
When I want to install vista on the IDE drive, it works ! But when I want to install it on the WD Raptor SATA drive, it is not working - > blue screen and error messages ...
How do I have to do ? Thank you for your help, it is important.

I recommend installing your vista disk on your raptor drive and using your seagate drive to use for vista page file for hard disk space reserved by Windows for use as additional memory and your IDE drive just for storage if needed.
Start by installing your copy of Windows Vista on your raptor drive and once that is done and all updates are done Click on the start menu and right click on computer and Choose properties.
Then choose advanced system settings.
Click advanced tab then under performance heading choose settings.
Check the advanced tab again then under the virtual memory heading click change.
Un-check the automatically manage paging file size for all drives box.
In the window that shows the list of partitions (C:, D:, etc.) choose a partition that resides on the physical hard drive that does not have Windows installed and highlight it. Select the system managed size option then click the set button. This will create a paging file on the hard disk in question.
You will notice that the paging file size for the drive now reads system managed.
Now highlight your C: partition (assuming that this is where Windows Vista is installed). Select the no paging file option and click set.
Your IDE drive can just be used for extra storage then for pictures or whatever.

I was wondering if you can remind Adobe dev team about this issue.
AIR 4 is released already and it doesn't have the issue fixed.
This issue becomes painful for us because we can't update to new AIR versions.
Currently we stuck with AIR 3.6. AIR 3.6 has bugs on new Android operational systems.
But we can't migrate to new AIR4 because bold formatting used heavily by our application doesn't work.

TP T60 with VISTA and dock doesn't work with DVI

Hi, at the first excuse my English.
I am beginner ]:->
I have Lenovo T60 with vista. I have advance dock from lenovo. DVI on dock doesn't work correctly. External display is distort, noisy.
After start of Vista is all right. But when I use blank white page monitor switch off and on in a circle. Monitor is in good order. Advence is in good order. (I change it 3 times).

ok, i think i understand you now. you have an advance dock with a third-party PCI graphics card and can't get it to work under vista. my best recommendation is to try different drivers. i am not 100% positive but your PCI card might have to have the same GPU as your T61 to be compatible. perhaps someone else with more experience on this can help.

Submitting a pdf in acrobat 9 (vista) send button doesn't work

I have created a form in livecycle designer with either "submit by email" (sends xml file) or a submit button with a pdf chosen as submit type. The form works fine in acrobat 9 but when I click on either button and it opens my email client (outlook in windows vista), the "send" button doesn't work. Any ideas?

RDP 6.0 Vista lefthand Mouse doesn't work

When i connect to a Terminal client with my Windows Vista my left hand lefthand Mouse doesn't work correctly (switch to right hand).
With Windows XP and RDP 6.0 i haven't these problem.
what goes wrong?

First off, I can state with 99.9% certainty that this has *nothing* to do with USB vs. PS/2 mice, and since you don't have custom mouse software on the client, the driver on the client is irrelevant to the equation. The version of Remote Desktop you are using is the most up to date available, so upgrading won't help you.
I suspect (this is just a theory as I lack a mouse to test it with presently), that the problem is not that Remote Desktop doesn't recognize the presenter mouse. Rather, the Presenter mouse software that does the custom button swapping is only designed to work with the Presenter mouse. It ignores the emulated mouse that Remote Desktop uses on the server to forward mouse clicks from the client, so Presenter settings don't get applied.
Does the server's mouse software completely remove the check box to swap mouse buttons, or does it just offer an additional means of swapping mouse buttons? If the check box still exists, you should be able to use it to fix the Remote Desktop problem. If it doesn't exist, I'm afraid I can't offer much in the way of solutions. The only possibility I can suggest is that while the client mouse software is not causing your problem, you might be able to solve the problem using the same weird mouse software that is causing the problem on the server. As a test, you might try turning off mouse button swapping on the client, installing the Presenter on the client, and using the mouse button assignment mechanism it provides. If it is bypassing the usually mechanism for swapping mouse buttons, it is possible that the Remote Desktop client won't detect the swap, and will pass the clicks on to the server inverted. It's not an ideal solution, since in order to make it work in the long term you'd need to get another Presenter mouse for the client, but try it out to see if it *can* solve your problem.
I will look into providing a mechanism to solve this more easily in the future (even if it is just a checkbox to allow you to force a swap), but any solution would not be available for quite a while I'm sorry to say.

Have a MP530 (Using Vista) and Scanner Doesn't Work

I downloaded all the software, etc. from the Canon site and everything works except the scanner.
It keeps giving me that it isn't connected. I have done all the necessary changing of USB ports and reloading the software from the site and it still doesn't work. Canon help was no help.
Can anyone figure this out for me.

I would like to have you create a new user account on your computer and then attempt to scan to see if you are able to scan under that account. To create new user account, please follow these steps:
1. Click Start and then Control Panel.
2. Click User Accounts and Family Safety.
3. Under User Accounts, click Add or remove user accounts.
4. Click Create a new account.
5. Type the name that you want to use for the account.
6. Select Administrator for the account type, and then click Create Account.
Once the new account has been created, please login under that account and then attempt to scan again. Are you able to scan successfully?

My problem is that since almost 2 hours the window is black, with the Apple logo, and the startup line filled at the very beginning. I own a Macbook Pro, I noticed that this product USB ports are made for the original iPod and iPhone USB's entrances, not for the new smaller iPhone 5 USB connector, so if I plug it in all, the computer doesn't detects it, so I need to take a little out. Well, I downloaded all my apps, because this iPhone is new, so I downloaded my apps bought and stored on my computer and then installed the software.
Well, it reseted as you said, and then the window went just like I described, but accidentaly the cable went out a bit, cutting the installation process. Then it froze and keeps like that. I did the buttons thing, but doesn't work. Is there something I can do? Happy Holidays and thank you!

CF 7.02 on vista and iis7 doesn't work ...

After installing IIS 7 in my new WIN Vista laptop. I have
been trying to migrate ColdfFusion to the new machine.
I can't get the local server to work with CF, however. The
latest error is a http 500.0 - internal server error.
I have tried the following:

Google ColdFusion and Vista.
There are a number of resources available out there now which
explain how to get CF7 working with Vista. I managed to get CF 7.02
running on Vista business last weekend.
You have to do a little bit of sqeaking but CF 7 will run
under Vista.

Mighty Mouse bluetooth: scroll wheel in Vista 64 bit doesn't work

I Installed Vista 64 bit on my Mac Pro.
My bluetooth mighty mouse has been recognized as an hid mouse. It works but the scroll wheel.
I tested on osx and it works, so it is not dirty or broken.
I tried to install the drivers from my leopard dvd but I receive an error message during the installation.
I downloaded the bootcamp update for 64bit systems but when I try to install it, it tells me the software to be updated is missing.
I tried to use a recent leopard dvd a friend gave but it tells me that my system doesn't support 64 bit softwares (is a late 2007 Mac Pro).
Is there anyone who knows the answer?

You have to have a pre-2008 Mac Pro I take it.

First you need to install 64-bit drivers from Apple off 10.5.4 or later DVD or from a 2008 Mac Pro.
Might even be drivers for generic BT mice available somewhere??

I think you'll need to uninstall your current Apple services and device drivers, restart and then go with BC 2.x for 64-bit.

Photo Pages: TIFF Format Doesn't Work?

I just published an iWeb site with 3 photo pages in it. All of the photos were in TIFF format. I found that when the site was viewed via Safari (or IE in Windows) the photos looked horrible...pixellated...slideshows didn't work, etc.).
I then tried re-publishing the site and got the same results.
My next step was to convert all of the TIFF photos into JPEG format and republish the site again. This seemed to do the trick, as now all of the photos look good, and the slideshows now work.
If, as I'm guessing, iWeb doesn't play well with TIFF images, why are we allowed to use them...shouldn't iWeb warn against this?
Has anyone else had this problem?

I think this byte order thing is probably the same for most (all?) multi-platform raw converters. I've checked this with Bibble and ACR. If I drag a converted tiff into iWeb the displays messed up. If I then load into PS and do a "save as" you get the dialogue which lets you choose pc/mac byte order and checking the mac option fixes things. Similarly doing a "save as" out of Preview saves in mac order.
Hopefully they'll fix it in an update.

Conditional formatting doesn't work with scatter chart

I am working on OBIEE 11g(11.1.1.7.0) and trying to create scatter chart with conditional formatting. But this is giving issue and conditions are not getting applied.
suppose I have take columns "product numer","product","office","product type","Revenue" & "Actual unit price"
I created the scatter chart using above columns and applied below conditions.
if revenue is equal to/ is in 1080 then color is yellow
if revenue is less than 1080 then color is blue
if revenue is greater than 1080 then color is red.
After applying all the condition, 1st condition is not getting applied. All the charts are showing blue and red color only.
Anyone have any idea about this issue?

looks like it is bug in 11.1.1.6.2 which is not fixed in 11.1.1.7.0

SQL Developer: Right-click format doesn't work right with DATE datatype

Currently I'm using version SQL Developer Version 3.1.05.
Got a question regarding the 'auto-format' of syntax whenever writing in the code editor.
If you take this snippet of code and drop it into a worksheet, then highlight it, right click the mouse, then select "format" it's like it fails to add the proper spacing when it runs into the DATE datatype. I looked all through the : preferences > database > sql formatter > oracle formatting > edit and couldn't find anything regarding the formatting with date types.
Am I looking in the wrong area?? Is this a known bug? Having trouble searching for this exact issue too. I LOVE the format feature, but I hate having to go to each date type and manually spacing it out to make everything look 'clean'. I'm picky I guess :P I can live with it but figured I'd ask.

I put 3.1.07 as you'd suggested. Seems the problem is still occuring for me... probably a user preference though ;)
Open a new worksheet and drop this in, highlight everything, right-click and choose "format". All the keywords (varchar2, number, etc) should align on themselves making it look nice. I have mine set up to line-break after a comma. (I can't get it to format properly as I type it here onto the forums, so added a bunch of spaces to try to mimic it in this view)

[ZEN X-Fi2] FLAC format doesn't work anymore.

When i bought this player, i was excited when i heard that it supports FLAC format. I added few songs, they were working. Now, about year later, when im trying to add any FLAC file, im copying it to player hard drive to Music folder, im disconnecting USB cable. Then it seems like player is rebuiliding something, after that im going to Music>All songs and i can't see that same file which was working year before. I tried to update firmware, but i still have same problem. Is it damaged? I still have guarantee, but i don't wanna wait few weeks until they fix that, so what can be wrong? Thank you in advance.

Just to be in the safe side I would follow these steps: (1) format the X-Fi2; (2) upgrade the firmware to 1.23.01; (3) format the device again, and (4) copy the FLAC files to the player. I have read your posts and know that you have both upgraded the firmware and formatted the player before. I just want to make sure you upgrade the firmware on a freshly formatted device.
Before continuing I would like to ask you if the FLAC files have changed in some way. Have these files been changed? Perhaps corrupted in some way?
Some time ago I did a mistake when relabeling a few FLAC files I made from my audio CDs. These files were working without problems for a year, but stopped being recognised by the player after relabeling them (even if xmms was able to play them). Why did it happen? Because I made the mistake of relabeling them with ID3 (MP3) tags instead of using the native tagging (Vorbis) format.

Continue the chain of filters after forward doesn't work

I'm dealing with a problem since two days ago and I guess it's time to ask for some help =).
I'm trying to do a forward and just after that let the filters continue, maybe I have a missunderstanding of the servlet/jsp life cicle, but don't really know.
Let's say I have two filters
A) URLTranslatorFilter. This filter take the URL requested and forward it to the correct URL, so, the user can enter the URL in another language (creepy requirement I know =( ) and being redirected to the actual resource.
http://localhost:8080/test01/entrar.faces
would be translated to
http://localhost:8080/test01/login.faces
B) SessionFilter, it's a simple filter that check for the user being on a session, security control, simple as that.
When a URL It's translated, just after that I have to check the username and all that kind of things, but i get the terrible error:

the filterChain.doFilter isn't working I think.
In fact, there's more than just a filter after the URLTranslatorFilter, but I can't get it to work even with two of them.
