Reinstalar Imac 2012

Me he comprado un imac hace unos dias y me gustaria saber como se prodria dejarlo como venia de fabrica (viene con FusionDrive), igual que se hace en los moviles y si al comprar nostros un imac con el sistema operativo ya instalado, si se puede conseguir este en soporte cd/dvd o el archivo por parte de apple de forma gratuita ya que la licencia la tendremos pagada no?

Con el ordenador, OS X, iPhoto, iMovie y GarageBand vienen gratis, así que no tiene que pagar por ellos si quiere reinstalar estos.
Para restaurar el ordenador a sus ajustes de fábrica, debe usar OS X Recovery > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718?viewlocale=es_ES Siga estos pasos:
1. Pulse las teclas Command y R durante el arranque para iniciar Recovery, y en la ventana de Utilidades de OS X, abra Utilidad de Discos.
2. Seleccione Macintosh HD en la barra lateral de Utilidad de Discos, vaya a la pestaña Borrar y borre la partición. Perderá todo lo que había guardado en el disco duro. Esto no modificará Fusion Drive.
3. Cierre Utilidad de Discos y reinstale OS X. Tiene que ser descargado desde Apple, así que podrá tardar horas

A notable peculiarity of Thunderbolt is that it uses exactly the same connector as Mini Display Port, and that's not all. The Thunderbolt connector also carries Mini Display Port video signals. That means you can plug a Mini Display Port video cable/adapter in to a Thunderbolt connector and your monitor will work.
If you plan to do other things with your Thunderbolt connector and don't want it wasted on a monitor, you can also choose an HDMI --> DVI adapter, which for your purposes will be functionally equivalent.
You can even use both at the same time.

I have an older iMac 5,1 and the disc drive no longer works. I was hoping that I could the Apple USB super drive as a replacement, but the info on the super drive page says compatible with iMac 2012 or later. Does anyone know why it would not work for me?

A reply to similar question (Q & As , in product page Apple Store) says:
"...dissable the internal reader hardware from devices setup. Then plug the external usb superdrive and that's it." Answered by Enrique T from Lima Oct 25 2013.
If you can locate an external Apple USB 'Air" superdrive for earlier model MacBook Air, that should work. The newer one for the Air is the same as for iMac, now.
You may be able to use other brands of external USB optical drive with your older intel-based iMac, as some of them function capably. A few should also be able to see system discs or other bootable utilities on DVD.

If you have a Late 2012 iMac (without a built-in SuperDrive), you can use a USB drive to install Windows with Boot Camp and you shouldn't have any problem

Connecting a Wacom Cintiq 13HD to iMac (2012)?

I have been having issues connecting my 27" thunderbolt iMac (2012) to my Cintiq 13HD so far i have bought several adapters and have done several diffent methouds along side it. I am now at a point where the iMac screen goes blue for maybe 2-3 seconds but doesn't mirror across to the cintiq. can you help?

Have you updated the latest Wacom cintiq's driver?
Do you have another (third monitor) attached to your imac? Are you using your Cintiq as "second" display?
Some people connect the cintiq through adaptor, which would make the cintiq the third display.
Normally, as I know, imac can get hooked up to only one monitor (as second display). The imac wouldn't recognize the third display unless you have an adaptor.
In any case, if your cintiq is a second monitor, you shouldn't have the problem you mentioned. May be the cintiq is defective or it's your driver isn't up to date. I also have a cintiq13hd connected to an imac as second display and it works just fine.

Missing noise reduction feature in iMac 2012, Do you all know if that feature was available in previous iMacs??

I have been having some issues in my iMac 2012, with the noise reduction feature. I have a MBP retina display that in system preferences has the noise reduction feature. However, in the new iMac 2012, I don't see that feature. Plus, I have been having issues with facetime, people that I call are telling me that they hear feedback whenever I talk to them. Does any of you know if the new iMac is supposed to have the noise reduction feature?

I was trying to find the "use ambient noise reduction" option in my new iMac, but in the new iMac I don't have that option. I was wondering if in previous iMacs versions had the "use ambient noise reduction" option available because I have an issue with facetime, people that I am calling are telling me that they hear feedback or static sound and they can't hear me well. I believe that with the "noise reduction" option, that problem will be solved. However, in my iMac, I don't have that option only in my MacBook pro. The reason that I am asking if in previous iMacs versions had that option is because I believe that there might be a bug that Apple needs to fix in order to have that option available in iMac.

I'm thinking of buying the new Imac 2012 and was wondering whether it is possible to use the "Remote Disk" ap (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5287) to share the drive of my Macbook Pro 13 (late 2011) with the new Imac. Has anyone tried this? Many thanks!

Boot from external raid hard drive in new iMac 2012

Just owned iMac 2012 21.5", but seemed internal drive is pretty slower than my previous iMac 2008. Planning to buy external raid hard drive like Lacie 2big Raid or G-Tech 4tb G-Raid (Thunderbolt) to be my main boot drive instead of internal one. Would this would solve the problem?

If your new Late 2012 21.5" iMac was Not ordered with the Fusion Drive option, then it came with a much slower standard 5400 rpm hard drive. Your 2008 iMac had a 7200 rpm hard drive. That's why this one is slower.
