Reinstall Adobe CS5.5 without CD

Hello,
My MacBook Pro is broken. After it's fixed I will lose my licenced Adobe CS5.5.
I am not able to get the original CD back to reinstall again, so what can I do to keep my licenced programs?
How can I reinstall it without the original CD? With a serial code?
Please help me with this. I need to work so I need Adobe again

Just one other question (or two): When I bought Adobe CS5.5, it said I could use it on max. 5 computers. With the same serial code as I used until today, I can still use the same licence?
Can I do this on another Mac of mine? Or only on the laptop I used before?
And: Where can I find the serial code? Is it one particular code or special code per program?

I Installed Mountain Lion on my Macbook Pro i7 and it ***! Every little task takes a second or 2 or even 3 longer. Basic stuff from previewing images, tracking acrcross menus, evening renaming files! Constantly getting the wheel of death for every little task - not worth upgrading, my mac was running a lot better on Snow leapord 10.7.8.

To reinstall Adode CS5 you will need the discs you purcased and your license code that came with it.

I had to reinstall my windows 7 64 bit, I had installed my CS5 adobe I back it up, but now I try to reinstall my adobe CS5 on my computer, it has an error 3, say try to reinstall the sofware but I try, and repeat the same error. Help please.

Reinstall Adobe CS5 Design Premium

I had Adobe CS5 Design Premium on my iMac running now system 10.8.4. Going on travel, I uninstaled InDesign and Photoshop on my iMac to be able to instal it on my MacBook Air running 10.7.5 which is the highest it can handle. Back home, I unistalled InDesign and Photoshop on my MacBook Air to be able to reinstall it on my iMac, but guess what? My iMac does not recognize my installation CD because "You can't open the application "Install.app" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
I am very sorry but I can't afford to switch to an upgrade. I would like very much to be able to continue to use what I bought: it was still working on my iMac under system 10.8.4 so it is only the installation program which causes trouble. Can Adobe help me out of this?

Sorry to say, this doesn't work. I found this page already before asking help. But I tried it again as you mentioned it in your reaction. Any link I try leads finaly to upgrade to CS6 or Creative Cloud and says CS5 is no more for sale. I just want to reinstall CS5, but the install program on my install CD seems to be PowerPC and refuses to work on my iMac with OS 10.8.4. But it works on my MacBook Air with OS 10.7.5. What I also tried:
1.     Installing from my MacBook Air on my iMac via my network: is not accepted.
2.     From my MacBook Air I made a start-up extern disk with OS 10.7.5, then started up my iMac with this disk. The internal DVD reader does not recognize the install-CD. The external optical drive, who accepts the install CD with my MacBook Air system 10.7.5 rejects the install CD with the same extern optical drive connected to my iMac that also is started up with 10.7.5.
3.     Went to my Adobe order hystory. Found back the order of my CS5 but found no button to download it again. Is this because it was shipped in a box to me?
4.     Reinstalled Photoshop on my iMac with Time Machine: works to my surprise and satisfaction, but I think this is by accident. Reinstalled InDesign with Time Machine: after starting up, InDesign tells me: "Configuration error. Please unistall and reinstall the product. If this problem occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 5"
5.     Thinking something in the system is missing, with Time Machine I also brought back in Library > Application Support > Adobe back to the same date as the InDesign reinstallation: same result: error 5.
When I want to unistall as asked, the uninstall program does not sees any InDesign. It sees only Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Illustrator. So also Photoshop is not found, although it is back on my iMac and works perfect, which let me think the reinstallation of Photoshop with Time Machine was by accident. I tried other dates with Time Machine for InDesign but all in vain.
I realy wonder why software developers make life so diffucult for honest users. Why do they hide from direct contact? I want to be able to call someone who helps me out of this. ADOBE !?!

Reinstalling Adobe Creative Suite without taking up one of it's uses

I'm having to reinstall my OS due to problems with my computer. Obviously, this will delete the Creative Suite from my computer and I'd like to know if I can reinstall my Adobe software without taking up the second usage of said software that I was saving for when I get a desktop.

Run Help --> deactivate. Otherwise call support to reset activations.

Reinstalling Adobe CS5.5 on same computer different drive!

I originally installed my CS5.5 on my external hard drive E: but now I want it on my C: drive so when the hard drive isn't attached it will still work. Now if my hard drive isn't attached I get error messages opening stuff like Xcel and Adobe reader doesn't work at all.
When I try to install the CD I get a message saying this is already installed on Drive E: and won't let me change destinations.

Hi Jim,
I would connect the external hard drive, uninstall it from there using
Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7)
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (XP)
Then try reinstalling it to the C: drive from the CD.

Adobe CS5 Configuration Error 16

I am having an issue on my Macs running Adobe CS5 installed via Adobe's default installer with a volume license key. I have local non-adminstrator mobile user accounts that authenticate to open directory. They are non syncing.
On some machines, when a mobile user logs in and tries to run any Adobe app, there is a pop up with CS5 Configuration Error 16. Please reinstall Adobe CS5. I've checked the permissions of the directories listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/configuration-error-cs5.html#main_AdobeP CD
and they are correct. I've determined that the root cause is a cache.db-journal file that belongs to a different user. If I delete this file (as admin), the problem goes away. What causes this file to exist? What causes it to persist between users? Should I add a login script to delete the cache.db-journal file if it exists?

I finally got everything working, despite the ineffectual help of the Adobe support team. Maybe my solution will be helpful.
I loaded a duplicate of my system saved BEFORE installing the Cloud Manager onto another drive. Then I loaded the Cloud Manager onto my current boot drive and sure enough, got the Error 16. Then I loaded the OLD version of the Adobe PCD file from my duplicate drive. No go. Then I loaded the OLD SLStore file. Still Error 16.
BUT then I replaced the SLCache folder and BINGO! problem gone. I noticed in the folder is another called SLConfigs. I am not sure it is a permissions issue or something that happens to this file when the Cloud Manager updates these files, but by reloading the pre-install version of this foldeer I have fixed the problem. I repeated the fix on another machine. I have now downloaded the CC apps with no issues.

My computer was recently stolen. On my TimeMachine I have my copy of Adobe CS5: Design Standard. When I open the application there, though, it returns Error 6, and directs me to uninstall and reinstall Adobe CS5. The disc, however, was also stolen. What can I do? I have the serial number. If you registered CS4 then you might be able to find the serial number for it in your Adobe account online. If not, you still might be able to get someone in chat to assist you with getting it.

Error reinstalling Adobe Illustrator CS5.

Hi. I have Adobe CS5 and lately Illustrator has been verrrrry slow opening and saving files and says Not Responding. I have the installation CD and the serial number, so I decided to uninstall Illustrator and then reinstall it. But every time I try to reinstall i keep getting an installation error, which is copied below. Please help! I really need to access my Illustrator files. Thank you.
