Reinstall from 6.1 to previous iOS

Hi,
I updated my iPhone 4 to 6.1. but since then my Home button doesn't work.
I tried all of these without any success: soft reset; reset all settings, erase all content and settings, restore from backup.
I'm so fed up now that I can't figure out how to reinstall back to the older iOS as it looks like this one has a major bug.
Please help!

I don't think this is a hardware problem as the Home button stopped working right after the update.
I read posts by other users with similar issues but one thing or another apparently has resolved the problem.
Unfortunately with me this is not happening. I followed the advise suggested below: to press simultaneously the Home button and the area opposite to it on the back of the phone, but still no result.
I remember I had a similar problem with one of the previous updates, but the soft-reset worked. After that everything was fine till that update.

You can't run PSE from a USB drive, nor can you transfer PSE to a different computer via a USB drive. PSE must be installed on a computer using the installer program provided by Adobe.

Upgraded my iphone 4 to IOS 6.1 3 days ago, I am loosing 15% battery each hour. Will going back to previous version help, and how can restore my IOS from 6.1 to previous version without loosing contents on my iphone? I have taken all normal precautions such as closing apps, turning off blutooth, manually fetching email, not using browser.....nothing seems to work.

Those are not running apps.
This is pulling up the recently used apps bar. Most, if not all, of those apps are not running at all. This is just a list of the apps that you have used recently.
The very few apps that run in the backgound are managed by ios.

Sign in with the Apple ID that was used to set up this iPod. The man who sold it to me said he bought it from another guy and sold it to me..So, I don't know what to do! I searched it up and it said you could go to iCloud and iTunes, but It's not working for me. Please help!!

you have a thin brick. I suspect your iPod was stolen or lost. I would turn it into the police since it is worthless to you if you can't get the previous owner to remove from their account

I'm having this issue as well only with a little different twist I guess. I'm transferring the iWorks applications from my Macbook Pro 3,1 with Lion to a new MBP 10,1 running Mountain Lion. I transferred the apps over using DropCopy since the older MBP doesn't have AirPlay. Applications show up but crash upon opening. This is the first install so there are no previous plist, versions or such to delete. All three crashed upon opening every time until I just had to have Keynote and purchased again - although Apple agreed to refund that purchase since my previous version quit working. Any ideas since I don't have any previous plist/versions to delete? Thanks in adavnce for any help you can offer.

Apple guys are deleting posts. I have found my posts have been deleted. Apple should MUST let us downgrade at least to previous release from current which was working fine.

Reinstall from creative cloud

how do i reinstall from creative cloud?
photoshop says that i have missing components aand need to reintall. There is no install file under apps. So I uninstalled and creative cloud does not recognise that so it will not let me install.

I experienced similar issues. Ran CC Cleaner after uninstall and still had to reinstall twice in order to get all the required files installed without corruption. I also think my perpetual license PS CS6 installation was confused by a previous PS CS6 CC installation from before PS CC was installed.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Are you using the YouTube widget in iWeb? If so it doesn't work any more. Not since MobileMe was discontinued.

From what I gather, iMessages are taking longer than expected to send on your iPhone 4s. If you aren’t seeing issues with other apps, try restarting your iPhone as shown here:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If the issue persists, try restoring your iPhone as shown in the article below.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

Cannot reinstall from CD-ROM on Linux/MacOSX laptop

I've inherited this old 17" Powerbook G4 from where I work. The previous owner was a sysadmin who has some kind of dual install on the laptop. So, when you turn the power on it gives you a choice to boot up in Linux or OSX. I want to completely start-over from scratch on this machine. I have the CD-ROMs that came with the laptop, but I'm having problems.
1) I can put the CD-ROM in and get an additional option when I turn the power on to boot from the CD-ROM. This results in the fatal crash screen, but it's overlayed with a bunch of Linux code.
2) I can boot in OSX and then choose to reinstall from the CD-ROM menu. The laptop powers down and restarts, but the results are the same as in #1.
What are my options? Can I physically remove the hard drive from the laptop, reformat it using my personal laptop, put the hard drive back in the laptop and then launch from the CD-ROM?

The disks I tried to reinstall with ARE NOT for the laptop in question. It didn't occur to me that that would be required. I just figured as long as it was a version of OSX that the hardware could handle, that it would work. Now that I think about it, it makes sense that you'd need the correct disks.
Now my problem is the fact that I have about a 5% chance of locating those disks. The guys in my office aren't as disciplined as I am when it comes to keeping in mind where these things are.
Is there a web site maybe that keeps disk images alive? Are there any alternatives to using the original disks that came with the laptop?
