Reinstall Mail on iPad mini? I renamed the folders to Swedish..

I recently bought an iPad mini. When installing my e-mail account information - I wanted to change the language to Swedish on some folder names so I tried to simply rename each folder etc, but the trash can could not be renamed.. So, I changed it back to the original names in english. But since then every time I'm trying to move a mail to trash, it says, "Not possible to send to Papperskorg" (swedish word for trash can).
Sometimes I have a problem as well on sending e-mailes, because I don't see them in "Sent mails". Probably because I renamed the name to Swedish as well.
Can I reinstall the mail again to solve this? This was all wrong from the start..

This might help ... and it might not, but it's probably the next thing to try at this point.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. It takes some time to re-enter all of the device settings like your wallpaper, brightness, Siri, Privacy, Location Services, WiFi password and so on - but this might clear up the mail app problem.

I have purchased a iPad mini online from the Apple store. Since day one I had 2 issues with it. First is that the battery life doesn't last more than 5-6h active usage, and the second one is with the wi-fi. After couple off days this becomed very annoying so I contacted the support via phone and they gave me instructions for return it and that I'll receive a new one without aditional fee. I get the second device in the predicted time but again I have the same issues with the wi-fi and battery life. I will be pleased if someone from the Apple expert team explaine to me what should I do, because I dont find it for normal what is happening. On the Apple official site under the specifications for iPad mini it says that the battery lasts for at least 10h and the wi-fi problem isn't mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance.

If you want someone from Apple to explain what you should do make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one near you and take your iPad there and talk to Apple. I am not familiar with Citrix Reciever but is it possible it is open or being used in another open app?
Try quitting all apps then try again.
Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up for each open app

I've been unable to locate an app that will do this. The Photos app that comes with the phone or iPad has extremely limited duration controls. PhotoStream seems to load everything from my phone or iPad not allowing me to just load up a set group of images.
iPhoto for iPad is getting some terrible recent reviews. I tried a couple other free apps but they don't use Airplay.
I can do something like this with iPhoto and my MB Air, but it's kind of ugly to have the computer open in order to connect by Airplay to my Apple TV. I've thought the iPad or iPhone would be a lower profile controller.
Am I out of luck?

Thanks for your help. Since I'm uninterested in loading all my photos (the only option) into photostream, I won't be able to use the settings in ATV. I guess I'm just stuck with using iPhoto on my MB Air. Thanks again.

You should configure the ipad to factory settings and set up as 'new'
settings/general/reset/erase all content and settings

I am wondering because I am thinking of buying a new ipad mini retina but the case I like the most is only the original ipad mini. So will the small thickness increase make it not useable.
I know about the microphone issue on the retina ( there is also one one the back where as there was not one on the back of the ipad mini original.

For sure? No. Seeing as how no one has seen a new mini in person. However checking the specs there is a .3 millimeter size difference, there shouldn't be a huge issue.

I'm a bit lost - you first say

In the first statement, aren't you using an SD card in the camera? And what do you mean by "unused SD card"? Cameras put their files in specific folders on a card, and your device only reads photos and video from those folders, not from anywhere else on the card.

Nobody but you sees that photo, it does not appear on outgoing emails.
To remove the picture rather than change it, open Address Book and select your personal card, then from the menubar select Card > Clear Custom Image. Now the system will use Apple’s generic user picture in the login window and System Preferences’ Accounts pane. Mail and Address Book will remain blank until you designate a new picture in Address Book or System Preferences > Accounts.

No. Damage caused by the user is not covered by warranty. A replacement iPad mini is $219 for the 1st generation, or $249 for the iPad mini with Retina display.

Check settings an make sure FaceTime is turned on and addresses are configured (Settings app > FaceTime)
Check all of your home screens and folders. It could have been inadvertantly moved (you can also use Spotlight search to check fior it: Swipe down form the home screen. This will also let you know it it is in a folder)

Try this:
1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.
