Reinstall Window 8.1 / reset to factory setting

Greetings,
i'm trying to reinstalled back my laptop to factory setting. i'm using window 8.1. i've just bought the laptop recently at Thunder Match at Mines. All the setup has been done by their sales person.
the problem start when i want to make recovery refresh to the laptop... the recovery partition seems empty and not working. How can i settle this problem, can i get back the preinstalled window 8.1 in this machine?
please advise.

If Recovery Partition of the Notebook is not working then please contact HP Technical Support to get the Windows 8.1 Recovery Disc, and they should be able to assist you with that.

I resize my pages often but I don't want to always keep them at random sizes. I want to know the proper method to reset the webpage size back to it default size. Right now it's too wide, and I click the green plus button in the upper left corner and it goes down to a very small size, I click the green plus again and it returns to the Too Wide size. You could try this. Set the safatri page to your convenience by dragging the bottom right hand corner of the page. Quit safari, then immediately relaunch. It should start up the same size as it was before you quit. Then ...
Go to Safari > preferences and set the page as your home page.

The previous owner left a Recovery HD partition on the drive. You cannot use it because it will only install a version of OS X that is tied to that persons Apple ID. You cannot use his/her Apple ID nor reinstall his/her copy of OS X. You must start, literally, from scratch.
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mavericks if your computer meets the requirements.
     Snow Leopard General Requirements
       1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
       2. 1GB of memory
       3. 5GB of available disk space
       4. DVD drive for installation
       5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
           fees may apply.
       6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
           terms apply.
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
         with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
         After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
         a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
     2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
         button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
         After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
         size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
         partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
         and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
         (Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
     3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
         with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
     4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
         Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
         username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
         Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
         install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
         Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

Resetting an iPhone to factory settigns isn't an issue, you can easily do that by connecting it to iTunes and hitting the "Restore" button. If the iPhone is currently locked to the UK carrier Three, you won't be able to use it with a SIM card from any other carrier without getting the UK carrier to authorize an unlock. I believe that the UK carriers all offer this to their customers but it might cost you a fee. If you are not a customer of Three, you might have more problems getting an unlock form them though.

No, restoring the phone will install the latest iOS version.
If you go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, the phone will revert to its fresh out of the box state, but iOS will not be reloaded - you'll still have iOS 6. See if the problem is fixed, and if it is, load your data back manually.

I have a Mac Mini late 2012 version and i am trying to reset to factory setting.

Hello, I had a bought a Mac Mini late 2012 version a couple months ago, and after i tried to install "pro tool" on my Mac, and FAILED. my Garage band wouldn't open anymore. it only tells me "garage band quit unexpectedly" when i open it. I tried uninstalled it and reinstall it again, but it still won't work.
So now, I want to jus5 restore the whole Mac mini to factory setting and erase everything in it.
I had read some of the threads in the community, and the Mac mini late 2012 doesn't come with an OS disk.
Therefore, is there anyone can tell me how i would be able to rest the Mac Mini later 2012 version back to factory setting and erase everything in it?

since you are running mt lion on the mac you can boot to the recovery partition (restart holding down command+R keys)
once booted there open the disk utility window and then on left side select the mac HD select the erase tab and make sure that next to format it says "mac OS extended journaled"
click on the erase button
once done close the disk utility window then click on the option to "install mac OS" and follow the prompts
once the install is completed and the mac is restarted it will be like new and the setup assistant will open on startup
