Reinstalled drivers Recording is distorted. Playback of existing files fine. SoundBlaster Live

I got a new motherboard an ABIT Socket A with an AMD 3000+ processor and gig of memory. After installing drivers 'Li'veDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe' and also after installing patch 'Li'veDrvPack_Patch.exe' recording is distorted. The input level is not clipping but the playback of the new recording is horribly distorted. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers over and over and it just won't work. The playback of existing files is fine. Have duplicated problem with both ACID 4 , ACID 5, and microsoft sound reocorder, so I would assume it can't be an issue with recording software. I have the problem with a guitar plugged into the Mic and Aux2 inputs of the li've dri've as well as when recording 'What you Hear' with Winamp playing, so that rules out the li've dri've inputs. Has anyone had this same issue? I am going insane with this one. I had installed the KX drivers previously but found the interface awkward so I uninstalled them. I dont think that is the issue, since I have uninstalled them, as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the Creative drivers a few times since. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Yes exactly as you mentioned. I have SoundBlaster Li've! 24-Bit Internal and facing the same problem. All is working very good, but only sound in WOW is terrible: it's muffled, degraded and seems to runs only in 22khz.
It is a big irony because i bought this card only for WoW to replace my onboard card and now the old one sounds much better in WoW as the new SB
Anyone with help?

Distorted playback sound garageband

hi new to garageband and can't figure out why I'm getting distorted playback. I'm using a small usb mic and recording a live instrument. It sounds like I've got a flange effect on the cello when playing back...hellish. Also when I first started mucking around with garageband it didn't do this...any ideas?

Hi and thanks for the message...just been putting a wee bit of reverb on the track. But I have always done that without any trouble.
So I guess you could say I'm recording a basic track with reverb...problem just seemed to kick i all of a sudden.

I have started a stream from Flash media encoder to flash media server. According to my encoder, it should be located at: "rtmp://localhost/live" and is called livestream.
In the Flash software I try and set the source of FLVPlayback component to "rtmp://localhost/live/livestream", and I get this error: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : Adobe Flash tried to play a live or recorded stream that does not exist. Source can't be found.". Both the server and encoder is runnind and I am encoding.
Too, when I try and open the html with the stream in a browser, nothing appears.
What should I check?

Server, encoder and player are all on the same computer.
Admin console confirms the existence of "livestream" of type "Live" and a "NetStream" called "ABAF". No idea what the latter is.
Also, thought I'd mention that I have to start the servers from the Control Panel -> administrative tools -> services. If I try and start the server from the start menu, they dont start.

I guess this is because of Activity Allocation and Cost Assignment. Plz check the Number range assignment:
PA05 for Number range assignment for additional time data
PT12 for HR document posting

Hi Gurus,
I was using the timesheet (CAT2) and while plugging in the data, i got this message: A Master Record for 412000/4400PM only exists in 2007. When I clicked the log, the diagnosis is: you want to use cost center 412000 together with activity type 4400PM. For this combination, however only one master data record was created in fiscal year 2007. the record is defined in CCA during activity type planning.

Is it possible to record into the middle of a .wav (or any format) file without audition recording right over the existing file? Is there an equivelent of using the Insert toggle in Word?

Okay, well let's try answering the question you actually asked...
The answer is yes - although there's a constraint (as you've discovered...). If you pick a section in the middle of a file, and insert silence into it, you have an extra chunk of file, the length of which you can determine when you create it. Now, if you leave this section highlighted, and hit 'record' then you will be able to record only over the highlighted section.
So the constraint is that you have to define the time you want in advance. Usually that's not a problem - just pick a bit more than you'll need and trim out what you don't use afterwards.

Photoshop CC eraser lag, reinstalling drivers doesn't fix it.

It keeps happening again; the only thing that lags is the eraser tool while I am using my Intuos5 with a grip pen in Photoshop CC. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers repeatedly, making sure they were all updated--it works for about a day before going back to the lagging problem.

Thanks for the reply Rave, but unfortunately that does not address my problem - my PC comfortably exceeds the minimum spec for the applications.
Of the three onward links from that page -

I had already worked through the 'solutions' on that page, culminating in the (bad) advice in 'Solution 4' which is what has got me into this current mess;
(3) "If you have already have Download Adobe Creative Cloud application you can use Download Center : Adobe Creative Cloud for your Product Download." isn't helpful as the download links send me back to the CC Desktop app, & it still won't allow me to download the 'CC' or 'CC (2014)' applications.

I want to configure the screen Material Master using
IMG->Logistics-General->Material Master->Configuring the Material Master->Define Structure of Data Screens of Each Screen Sequence and
Screen sequence : create Z1
Data screen Z1 : scrn 07 (Basic Data) and scrn 14(Purchasing)
subscreen for : scrn 07(basic data ) 1002, 2001, 2561,2005 and
scrn14(Purchasing) 1005,2301,2701,2302
When I create a Material it's ok, but if I switch from basic data to purchasing by clicking the tab sheet, I got an error : Record Z1 SP09 does not exists in table T133D ? When I saw at table T133D, SP09 did not there for sceen seq Z1
(I saw for 01 / standard SAP) it's there.
Anybody can help what wrong ?

I am pretty sure this is a bug with your IDES system. Basically, SP09 (note that it could be say SP02 etc depending on the number of screens defined in your Z screen sequence) is the function code that is associated with the pushbutton (or tab) for the purchasing screen (screen no. 14) in the material master.
So, there should be an entry corresponding to function code (say SP09) and successor screen (say purchasing screen no. 14) in table T133D. If there is none, then message M3748 will be issued in function module T133D_SINGLE_READ_FCODE.
I have tested this in my system and I don't get the error ME748. So, there must a bug or an OSS note missing in your IDES system which is causing an incorrect update of table T133D.
I would suggest you to post the question in the ABAP forum if you need a better technical explanation of PAI events and reading function codes.

I have started a stream from Flash media encoder to flash media server. According to my encoder, it should be located at: "rtmp://localhost/live" and is called livestream.
In the Flash software I try and set the source of FLVPlayback component to "rtmp://localhost/live/livestream", and I get this error: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound : Adobe Flash tried to play a live or recorded stream that does not exist. Source can't be found.". Both the server and encoder is runnind and I am encoding.
Too, when I try and open the html with the stream in a browser, nothing appears.
What should I check?

So just to clarify, the server is installed on the same machine that you are using to do the encoding, correct?
And you are using Flash Media Live Encoder to do the encoding?
I don't have Flash CS5 for I'm not sure what is in there to do the encoding.. but more on FMLE here:

There are two step used to get the encoding going with FMLE...
1. after setting all the config settings, click the "Connect" button. Then open the encoding log and you will be able to see if connection was made to the server or not. Can you successfully connect to the server? if not, what is the error message?
2. click the "Start" button and in the encoding log, you will see that the audio and video encoding has started. What does the encoding log say?

I am getting below error for master data (0MATERIAL_ATTR), while loading data from PSA to Info object through DTP (I have set the Handle duliocate record also). When I checked that error data in Error Stack, I am getting below error for all records(100)

Laserjet 2300n not printing reinstalled drivers says ready but won't print

laserjet 2300 will not print I have reinstalled drivers and it says ready to print, but when i print test page or word document it does not print? anyone have ideas??

I installed the 64 bit version of Photoshop CS 5.1 Extended successfully. It opens fully without issue. However, any time I create a new file or open an existing file, it crashes.
I figured this would have something to do with my graphics card, but it still does the same thing after updating the drivers & nVidia software. Seems like my whole trial will end up expiring before I ever even get to use it!! Please help!!

4 GB RAM
