Reinstalled PS CS5 on new Win7 x64 computer.
Reinstalled PS CS5 on new Win7 x64 computer. Bridge not interfacing with it (batch). Former installation was x32, but when installing x64 version there was no Bridge included. Unloaded and re-loaded PS CS5. I've downloaded Bridge "update" but no instructions on how to install or activate it.
Not sure what exactly you are trying to say. Which program is used can be configured in teh Bridge Prefs. for anything else you need to explain better.

I recently updated my photo editing computer to a new MacBook Pro running OS X 10.10.1. Reinstalled photoshop CS5 and submitted product code. Photoshop will open and run, but certain commands, specifically print commands or print parameter changes causes the program to quit. I have looked on several forums and followed advice re: reloading photoshop among others, but cannot get anything to change.
Question 1: is there anything in the que for updates to CS5 to make it compatible with the latest OS X update?
Question 2: why isnt there an option on adobes site to submit a question to tech support? Every other software manufacturer I deal with leaves you with the ability to submit a question to their support staff.
Any help would be appreciated in getting my software to run correctly again.

JustinIt is not likely that older versions of software will be updated as technology advances. That is part of the reason why they develop new versions of software.
Adobe tech support is focused on their new products and generally do not support issues with older software versions - it's unfortunate, but that is how they manage their support. These forums are their second line of support, where they send people with older version issues, and a number of Adobe employees do support this and other forums. If you have a question and ask it here you might get a helpful reply... or you might get a useless one like this might seem to be. -
ITunes doesn't syc with Outlook 2010 on a Win7 x64 computer anymore
ITunes shoes the information that contacts and caledar is going to be sychronized but on iPhone and Outlook nothing is changed. I reinstalled iTunes completely as described, same behaviour. IPhone is not jailbreaked and will never be.
What can I do?
..or is there any tool doing this job? I don't need the possibility to play music or something else. This senseless functionalities blow up the programs size. I only need to sychronize with Outlook. If possible automatically with adjustable interval.

PS: I had never such problems with Nokia. I am so sad that my company has replaced all phones with Apple devices.I found the problem. I went to lurvely Microsoft looking for updates to Outlook 2003. I found two security updates from 2012 for the product:

Seems one or both block access by Itunes AND Motorola Tools mobile (probably any other software for accessing/backing up files on a cell phone, ipod, or other syncable device) for that matter to Outlook 2003 so you can add, sync or back-up your contacts and calendar. Thank You Microsoft for a whole two days of frustration...

Photos taken by and saved to the iPod are included in the backup that iTunes makes evetime you sync or if do a manual or iCloud backup.
Per the following the backup includes:
iTunes: About iOS backups
Camera Roll (Photos, screenshots, images saved, and videos taken. Videos greater than 2 GB are backed up with iOS 4.0 and later.)
Note: For devices without a camera, Camera Roll is called Saved Photos.
Thus if you backed up after the photos were taken yuo can restore an iDevice from that backup -
Premiere CS5 (win7 x64) won't recognize my Mini-DV camcorder.
I have Premiere Pro CS5 installed on a Windows 7 64-bit system.
When I try to Capture, I keep getting the error message: "Can't Activate Recorder. Try Resetting Camera."
the whole set-up worked fine on my XP system with Premiere Pro 1.5.
Extra info:
The Mini-DV camcorder is a Panasonic NV-DS33 (but personally I think it has nothing to do with my camera because I have seen so many threads online regarding this issue and no-one has any decent answer!)
the firewire cable is fine because it works on my old XP computer.
in premiere, if I change the camera to an HDV, then suddenly I can CONTROL the camera, but I can't capture)
Windows 7 (x64 bit) recognizes the Camcorder in the Device Manager (and says it is working properly).
I have tried several other DV capturing softwares (Stoik, Scenalyzer, WinDv). I have even tried my old Premiere Pro 1.5 on my 64-bit system.. and NONE OF IT WILL CAPTURE MY CAMCORDER!
This is very frustrating. I need my new win7 (x64) Premiere CS5 to capture successfully. I have spent a LOT of money on this new system. What on earth is the problem?
(i saw one thread on a similar issue regarding a 32-bit installation of Win 7, and it is marked as ANSWERED! but in my opinion, (from the amount of forums on many other sites) this issue is definitely not fixed.
is there any update to Premiere CS5? or a workaround? or anything else I should know?
PS: it is not an option for me to keep using my old computer to Capture video and then transfer it to my new system. i am passing my old system on to another person.

[email protected]I agree that the "Legacy" FW driver solution should be a stickie, or FAQ. Since Win7-64 was released, it has caused no end to the grief. Maybe Jeff, or Todd will have a better solution to getting the word out.
It was Harm Millaard, who brought that to MY attention, and he's posted it to many, many threads. In nearly every case, it's solved the issue.

I disabled my licence for CS5 on my old computer and reinstalled it on my new MacBook Pro. The software shows up and I can see the icons in my Applications Folder, but when I click in the Adobe Illustrator icon, for instance, up pops a box with "Creative Suite5.5 Design Standard Trial" and asks me for a serial number?
Why is it a trial? I own a license for the full Suite?Perfect! It worked! Thank you!

Can't install LR 3.3 on new Win7 Pro x64
Have a new Win7 Pro x64 computer (clean OS install) and trying to install LR 3.3. No problem downloading from Adobe and installer tries, but hangs on error 1935 before complete installation. Tried redownloading application with same install result and error code. Also, disabled virus protection and no other apps were running except explorer which was connected to Adobe site. Any thoughts? Anybody else have this problem?
An update: I contacted Adobe techical support about this problem (on line chat) and they were able to resolve the issue. All that I can see that was done by tech support (who was controlling my screen remotely) was to download .NET 4 from Microsoft and install it on my OS. After that, LR installed OK. Problem fixed, even though I don't really know exactly how. Thanks TECH SUPPORT !!I am pretty sure Lightroom is not included in the Creative Suite. That would explain why the serial number doesn't work. You won't be able to purchase LR 3 from Adobe. That would have to be LR 5.2. You may be able to find LR3 available on ebay or somewhere but I'd recommend getting the latest. Of course you may then encounter compatiblity issues going between LR and CS5 as there will be a camera raw inconsisency. You either need to render your LR changes before going to Photoshop or you will need to upgrade your CS5 which means going to the Cloud version. To complicate things the Could version of the suite DOES include LR. So if you are going that route don't buy LR separately.

Cannot Install Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection in Win7 x64

I've purchased many adobe products in the past, and i have been generally pleased with them.
However, I downloaded a trial of the CS5.5 Master Collection, and it won't install.
I've followed all of the solutions in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/628980?start=100&tstart=0 , but to no avail.
I've diagnosed the root of the problem, and it's C:\Users\Yunyu\Desktop\MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1\Adobe CS5_5\payloads\Microsoft_VC90_MFCLOC_x86\Microsoft_VC90_MFCLOC_x86.msi won't install.
I get when i try to install, and the registry key trick does not work for me, as there is no registry key.

No antivirus
What should i do? I've contacted adobe but they don't answer.
I really want to try and buy this product.Tried downloading and installing. Still failed.
No programs at startup. no antivirus, no firewall, this is a fresh install with all updates.
The individual CS5 (not 5.5) programs I purchased earlier installed perfectly (photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, flash, fireworks), however, the newer ones fail.
I've tried reinstalling .NET, Windows Installer, sfc /scannow, registry fixes, disable services and startup items, etc... to no avail.
The Adobe LOG analyzer doesn't even say I have a problem!

Reinstalling CS5 on new computers.. what do I need to do?

I've got the Production Premium 64bit CS5 Student version, everything installed, registered, and up to date.
I'm looking to build a new computer (well, new motherboard, processor, and memory), this means I'll have to reinstall Windows 7 which will also take everything off my hard drive I assume (A good excuse for housekeeping I guess.)
Anyway, what steps do I have to take to make sure I can reinstall my CS5 programs on my new computer? I think it involves deactivating the account on my old computer, and then re-activating on my new one once it's built and all up and running, but what's the whole process? Want to make sure I do it right! (And Legal!)
Is there any point in backing up certain CS5 files, or is it best to just redownload the programs again (I'm on an uncapped BB account so it would just be the time it takes to download the new programs..) I know that for example with Valve's STEAM system, you can copy a certain folder which contains all your game data, put it in the right folder on your new computer, and it means it won't have to re-download all your games again. Is there something similar for Adobe CS5, or is it better to redownload the whole thing again to ensure there are no conflicts with the software being on a new computer?
Basically, what's the whole process I should follow for reinstalling CS5 on a new computer I'm building?

DanHey there Dan, what you described is pretty much the correct procedure for moving or reinstalling Adobe CS5 after a system rebuild or upgrade...
As far as backups, the most straightforward thing is just to use your disks to reinstall everything fresh. If you don't have disks (because you downloaded the software instead), you definitely should make them for offline backup! (which does mean you'd need to download the software again to burn a DVD or two) -
I bought the photoshop install online and I put it on my laptop. But now I have a new and better computer for photo and video but I can not figure out how to reinstall my photoshop on this new computer. When I bought it, they said I would be able to install it on 2 different computers. PS they are both PC computers.

Trying to install CS5.5 web premium on a new Windows 8 computer
I am trying to install CS5.5 web premium on a new Windows 8 computer. I had installed it before but Illustrator would not run. I tried reinstalling just Illustrator that did not work. So I uninstalled the whole suite, and planned to reinstall the whole thing. But I get "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." So I download ASA, and try to run the .exe and nothing happens.
Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then try again. Also check this:

I'm trying to reinstall photoshop CS5 in a new laptop (pc) but i have an "The serial number is not valid for this product" error.
I have deactivated photoshop in the old computer.
The old laptop have photoshop installed with the DVD but the new laptop don't have DVD so i downloaded cs5 from Download CS5 products. ¿Maybe doing this is an error?the installation files work the same whether from a disc or download, but there are other ways to mismatch a serial and installer.

I would like to uninstall my old CS5 Design Premium from my computer to reinstall it on another computer. What are the steps? Is there something special with the activation codes, etc?
You are allowed to have two activated installations, so if you prefer to you can keep ut on the current machine and just install it on the new one like you did originally. If you wish to eliminate it on the other machine, the first thing to do is to deactivate it by opening a program in the suite and selecting Help -> Deactivate in the top toolbar. That is all you need to do to disable the software. At this point if you prefer to you can uninstall it if you like.
As far as getting it on the new nmachine, as I just indicated, just install it like you did the first time. -
