  • Using Acrobat Pro (Creative Cloud)

I have Creative Cloud and each time I want to edit a few words in a PDF I have to install Acrobat Pro again - which is very time consuming. Is this how it works? Is there a better, faster way to do this?

    Hey Lexi Lane,
In order to edit PDFs or perform other functions, a faster and better way is to download Acrobat Pro as a subscription (monthly/annual) or as a one-time purchase on your system.
Download a free trial or buy Adobe products | Adobe downloads
After that, you can easily excess the features of Acrobat without any need to install it time and again.

  • Acrobat Pro Creative Cloud quits upon launch

Acrobat X Pro in Creative Cloud (Mac OS X 10.6.8) opens, then quits in a matter of seconds. I cannot uninstall it as the uninstaller prompt says, 'not a valid Acrobat Application'. Cannot delete the folder. I am stuck. Please help so I can reinstall this app. Thank you.

Sounds like you downloaded the Trial of Adobe Acrobat X which has Adobe LiveCycle Designer and then when you Upgraded to the Creative Cloud you got Acrobat XI which does not include Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

  • Acrobat Pro--creative cloud subscription?

My trial download of Acrobat Pro shows as "up to date" in CC, but when I launch it it says it has run out. Can I subscribe to Acrobat Pro for a monthly payment as I do with inDesign?
    Thanks,
    Harry

  • Acrobat X Pro Creative Cloud Subscription Asking for Serial Number

I have a monthly paid acrobat x pro creative cloud subscription, but it keeps asking me to license my software and input a serial number. The trial period is done, so I cannot use this software that I am paying for.

    Hi Laura ,
Please refer to the following link to find your serial number .
    https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html
You can log in to Adobe.com with your credentials and you will be able to see the serial number of that particular products under My Products section.

We have installed Acrobat DC (Creative Cloud) but now our extensions, Quite Imposing and Pitstop Pro must now be reinstalled or are now hidden in a different place.

Neither Quite Software nor Enfocus have released their Acrobat DC-compatible versions of their plug-ins yet.
The MacOS version of Acrobat is now 64-bit and as such, the older versions of the plug-ins will not work at all. Don't even try installing them!!!! I believe Enfocus is planning a product release very soon that will be compatible with Acrobat DC. Quite Software is also working to complete their Acrobat DC-compatible plug-ins.

    Restart
    Run the CC Cleaner tool
    Restart
Run sudo find . /Users/*/Library -name Adobe
    Delete anything found
Runsudo find . /Library -name Adobe
    Delete anything found
    Restart
    Reinstall
    Errors as below
Can you suggest anything to allow me to install this, please?
I'm also seeing the error "The Add-on Creative Cloud Libraries installation failed because it is incompatible with installed…", then a link to https://creative.adobe.com/addons/patches/13042?feature_set=ikyosatrqd#.VOtgbrOsU80

  • Premiere Pro, Creative Cloud & Adobe Application Manager all wont open.

One day it was fine, the next it's not. My Premiere Pro, Creative Cloud & Adobe Application Manager all wont open.
No error messages, it just doesn't open. I can't get through to talk to staff (because why should you be able to right? You only pay for the service..)
Could someone please shed some light on my situation?
My Lightroom and Photoshop are running fine as normal. I wish I could provide more information but it's really that simple - none of it will open.
    Thank you!

At this point, I think I'd just download & run the Adobe CC Cleaner app, and use it to uninstall & clean up your PrPro & the Creative Cloud desktop app itself ... then download a fresh copy of the CC desktop app, install & sign into your account, then download & reinstall PrPro ...

It works fine on my machine, which is similar. The only difference is that my Mac is running OS X 10.8.5. Can you try trashing preferences or reinstalling?

  • Installed then removed Acrobat but Creative Cloud says its still installed so I can't install it again.

I've seen issues with precloud subs in CC but not with an app that was a CC download.
Just like the subject says, "Installed then removed Acrobat but Creative Cloud says its still installed so I can't install it again."
How do I get CC to recognize that acrobat isn't on my computer so I can download it again?
    thanks,
    Jason

Both of my computers crashed nearly simultanesously due to mal-ware, had to erase hard drives to start over, did not have chance to de-activate either Acrobat or Creative Cloud before they crashed.  I need you to retroactively deactivate these two previous computers (one Dell desktop, another a Dell laptop from my university, the University Of Missouri_KC), so that I can re-install on my laptop (which has been repaired by UMKC), and the other on my new private desktop (which replaces my previous desktop, which cannot be salvaged).  I have the serial numbers of my two products, if Adobe could request them
Please respond as soon as possible.  - Marc Garcelon, [email protected], UMKC email address: [email protected]@

    Hi Marc,
Please refer to the help document below for deactivation:
    Activation & Deactivation Help
Also, the creative cloud membership can only work on 2 machines. You will receive an error automatically on the third machine.
