Bonjour,
J'ai beau chercher sur le site d'Adobe (et dans ce forum), je ne trouve pas la réponse à cette question qui doit pourtant être un cas courant : comment transférer Elements 13 sur un nouvel ordinateur ?
Mes questions :
1. j'ai lu (quelque part ?) qu'une licence Elements permettait l'installation sur 2 ordinateurs personnels. Est-ce exact ou bien faut-il le désactiver sur l'ancien ordi ?
2. j'ai gardé une copie du fichier d'installation lors de l'achat en ligne (qui était en fait un changement de version). Seulement Elements était alors utilisé dans un environnement Windows 7 (32 ou 64 bits ?) alors que le nouvel ordi est sous Windows 8.1 (64 bits) : est-ce le même fichier d'installation ?
3. sinon, comment télécharger la bonne version sans repasser par la case "acheter" ? J'ai lu qu'il existait des versions d'évaluation, mais où les trouver, si c'est la solution?
Merci pour toute aide dans ce domaine car je suis complètement bloqué à l'heure actuelle.

On a pourtant déjà répondu et sans doute plusieurs fois à cette question (2 installations) dans le forum. D'abord, on ne transfère pas un Programme sur un nouvel ordinateur (sauf lorsque c'est prévu comme lors d'un changement d'OS et à condition que les programmes soient compatibles. On l'installe.
1. C'est en tout cas vrai pour la suite CC et les CS. il est fort probable que ce soit le cas pour les Elements. On peut les installer mais pas les utiliser simultanément.
Pour le reste, je t'assure que j'ai trouvé les infos rapidement et je ne suis pas un foudre de guerre
2. Voir Centre de compatibilité Windows : photoshop elements
3. Voir 2 mais si tu n'as plus la possibilité d'installer le logiciel complet d'avant l’installation du logiciel d'upgrade, cela me semble bien compromis. Pour pouvoir installer un upgrade, il faut généralement mais pas toujours que la version précédente soit déjà installée.

elements 12 downloaded, but will not install on my mac pro desktop computer. the message i get is "installer failed to initialize." anyone have ideas why?

Firewall, Popupblocker and Essentials ist off.

Oracle installation on SAN

I have Oracle 10.2 database installed on Windows 2003 server with system, application and data partitions. It is also SAN drive attached to this server, with lot of free space. I would like to build standby database for testing purposes. Is it possible to install this second Oracle database to SAN ? Please share your experience.

SAN cannot have Oracle softwares, it can only have Oracle data. You can install the Oracle software to a filesystem mounted off SAN disks.
For Standby configuration, you need separate server with same
server setup as primary like OS hardware, software, Oracle software etc.Again, you can configure the standby database on the same server as the primary database.
I can't think it's a great idea for a production environment (putting both on the same server kind of defeats the purpose) but the OP has said this is for testing. Whether they should/could consider having both databases on the same server depends on what they mean by 'testing'.

Installation.Elements 13 from disc. Windows 8.1

I get a pop up saying no disc in Drive E which then crashes the program. Putting a disc in makes no difference. Norton finds no problem after scans of the programs.
Premiere 11 works on this system as does Photoshop 13 so I am now having to use Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop Elements 13.
I know some programs have had bugs with Windows 8.1 which they didn't with Windows 8.

Thanks for the reply and glad the suggested fix got rid of the Premiere Elements 13 No Disc error for you.
This is not Adobe, rather user to user. So, we have no insider information on how Adobe will move to correct this issue
beyond Adobe PRE_help posting the suggested fix in a recent thread here. But, I get the impression that Adobe PRE_help
is still evaluating the possibilities of more than one cause for the No Disc error in Premiere Elements 13. To date, all the
reports in this forum point just to the OldFilm.AEX. Interesting, I have Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 7 and 8.1 64 bit
and have not been hit with the No Disc message (from September 24, 2014 to today January 15, 2015.

Photoshop Elements 10 installs Elements 7

Hi, my problem is I used disc 1 to install Elements 10 into Windows 7 and it installed Elements 7??? Any answers here, any help appreciated. John

Rolling Back Installation: Elements 10

Does anyone have any fresh ideas how to fix this issue? I've tried every trick in these forums and none of those solutions work. Specifically, I'm trying to install Photoshop Elements 10. I think the problem started when I installed Acrobat and then had Revo uninstall it. It took a lot of my other Adobe products with it. Elements 10 will not install anylonger. Any help would be appreciated.

As you said that Photoshop Elements rolls back after 90% then could you please try these steps first and afterwards try installing Photoshop.
Please rename the OOBE Folder from this location
Windows:-
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
After renaming the OOBE Folder try installing Photoshop Elements first and once finished then download and install the latest version of AAM mentioned in the other forum.

Unable to continue/restart installation Elements/Premiere 11

I purchased the Photoshop Elements/ Premiere Elements 11 last evening. I started the download using the Akamai program. All seemed to be going well when I went to bed. This morning I discovered that less than a third had downloaded (not much more than when I went to bed) and I cannot resume the download.
I am running a Macbook Pro OS 10.8.3 fully updated with a 2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor.
I have tried re logging on and clicking my download link but nothing happens. I have also tried accessing the Akamai program thru the preferences panel (clicking on it had no results) but nothing appears to happen.
Do I need to delete all and restart? I cannot believe that that would be necessary but I am running out of options.

Normally, this is the recommended action. But if the patch
that fails to install is 114877-xx or 114878-xx, then a
rollback may not be necessary.
Both 114877-xx (Solaris 8) and 114878-xx (Solaris 9) patches the following
