Reinstalling DW... with no extensions from past...

I am trying to reinstall DW, but there remain the last
extensions.. some of them caused me troubles... I want only DW.. no
extensions for the moment.. where do I delete them? thanx

Application Data is a hidden folder. Can you find that?
To display hidden folders, you need to open My Computer from
the Start
button. Then use the Tools menu to open Folder Options. Click
the View
tab, and select Show hidden files and folders in Advanced
settings.
If you can see hidden folders, you need to go to
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia
Find all Dreamweaver folders, and remove the Configuration
folder inside
them. That's where extensions are installed.

Download and launch BatChmod. Put the videos into a subfolder and drag that folder containing the video files into the Batchmod window. Make sure you are the owner and have R,W, X access as well as the group. Everyone will have R only.
Check the Change ownership and privileges, Unlock and Apply to enclosed boxes and then click on the Apply button. When done try importing the files again.

I have installed JDeveloper9i with OA Extension from path#4045639 and it seems like it is designed to work with OA Framework 5.10. In our DEV instance environment it is currently set to 5.7 . What should I do to customize and test XML pages? should we upgrade this to OA 5.10 Framework

OAF only works 11.5.10 or 11.5.9 patched to to correct level of FND and FWK. Please search Metalink for the patches required or log a TAR with Oracle Support for this information.

Downloading unix archive file (.Z extension) from java program

Hi,
I am trying to download unix archive files with .Z extension from java program. When I use
BufferedReader zReader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(urlConn.getInputStream()));
and then read line by line and write it to file, downloaded file can't be decompressed. I tried to open it with winZip which supports .Z files but I get the message : Cannot open file, it does not appear to be a valid archive.
How can I download file correctly?
Any help would be appreciated.

and then read line by line and write it to file,How are you writing the file? Since it is binary data you need to be careful about using Reader/Writers, which are meant for character data. Look at using classes from the InputStream/OutputStream hierarchy.

Problem with KTV3 and PCI USB card extension from QTEC type 13068

Hello all,
I have been trying to make work a PCI USB card extension from QTEC type 13068. This card allows to give 4 USB ports more.
My problem is that oinly 2 ports are working and WINXP SP1 is saying that there are not enough ressources for all the PCI functions. However there is enough free IRQ. Even using this card alone on the mainboard give the same error.
I am using a KTV3 (MS-6712 VER:1.0A) and I have no idear why this is happening. Could it be a bad interaction between the BIOS and the card? wall Or WIN XP? angryfire
All comments and ideas to try are welcome especially from those who have this QTEC card.

What operating system are you using? The card requires SP1 for XP and SP4 for 2000. If you have these, try to uninstal the cardl and let Windows reinstall the card on start-up.

I don't think that extension is supported. I believe Firefox can only read .json and .html.

If your machine came with Snow Leopard or earlier and you have your install disks, yes, you can reinstall SL. However, you will need to erase the entire hard drive so you will lose all your files. Also note that there are some apps (such as Mail) which can't be downgraded "automatically" such as with a restore from Time Machine. Here is some info on TM:

Exporting from a 2D line graph with .jpeg extension

Is there any way to export from an ordinary 2D line graph with .jpeg extension so that with using this image i will improve my result of exporting excel.
e.g. i have found and example and added a button as you will see when you run this code.I will click this button and it will export this line graph with extension .jpeg so that i will see it as an ordinary image at my home directory.

We are facing issue with VO extension after upgrading from 11i to R12(12.1.3).
Most of the cases we are facing issue as given below,
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.AttributeLoadException: JBO-27022: Failed to load value at index 21 with java object of type java.lang.Boolean due to java.sql.SQLException.
Please help me out to resolve this issue.

Need to find test data with payments include earning from past periods

I am new to Oracle Payroll and need to find test cases which payments include earning from past periods.
I have an R12.1 Vision environment but cannot run Payroll due to issue with Vertex, but I do have front-end and database access.
Wonder any Reports/ Forms I can use to locate sample data with earning from past periods?

Hi,
You can use oracle standard form to query old processed payroll for your desired pay periods.
Navigation is Your HRMS responsibility >View >Payroll Process Results.
In this you need to choose payroll name,from date,to date and click find.
for e.g. in your vision instance you can query with payroll as "Vision Monthly" from "12 2008 Calendar Month" to will be "10 2013 Calendar Month" and find the result.
choose any of the record and view result by further click on Assignment Process button than next click on SOE Report.

If you are running Tiger, you don't have time machine.
You need to get something like SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner (sorry, I don't have a handy link for CCC but you can Google it to get their site) to make a clone of your drive on the external and then do incremental backups. The free versions do a lot and you can upgrade to the full-service versions for small change if you need more. The one time I used SuperDuper! for cloning a volume it worked just fine.
(My backup application is the last PPC capable version of Retrospect, which does a credible job, or has over the past ten-twelve years.)
