Reinstalling Master Suite

i am trying to reinstall my master suite Adobe program. I have the product key and serial number but where is the link or activation etc?

  • CS5.5 MASTER SUITE REINSTALL

    I have a MACbook. I had to replace the hard drive and I reloaded my CS5.5 Master Suite from my external hard drive back to the "new" computer.  This has happened before and when I went to use any program it worked fine.  Now this time, when I go to open a program in the suite, it will not open and I get Error:6. How do I correct this?

  • CS6 Master Suite applications open with "...damaged...reinstall.."

    This started happening recently. InDesign and Acrobat, my usual applications seem to work properly, despite the message. This is a long-time original OS X installation, updated to 10.6.8, with all patches, not an upgrade from an earlier OS. MacBook Pro, 6GB RAM, 37GB free on 500GB drive. No font manager, but some InDesign plug-ins installed.
    Ideas about what's causing this?
    Will running install repair the applications, or do I need to deactivate, uninstall, run cleaner, then reinstall the Master Suite?

    Peter S: Thanks for the idea of verifying hardware. I was disappointed to find no errors, IOW, hardware isn't in trouble, so I had to look further.
    Because the installer wants all applications to be exited, I thought to try opening several Master Suite apps that I'd not opened before, to see if the message appears for them, too. It did. However, one message - not sure which app raised it - was specific: the Adobe Application Manager, needed to validate the apps, was missing.
    Well, hmmm, maybe that's because it had become so annoying, I'd deleted it recently! So, I'm expecting no more messages after I download and install AAM.

    Are you aware that CS6 is superseded by the Cloud and there will be no further updates to CS6? i.e. You'll be buying outdated software

  • Reinstall of CS3 Master Suite and Photoshop CS5

    I recently had to reinstall my OS and now need to reinstall both CS3 Master Suite and Photoshop CS5.  Can I install Photoshop CS5 first since I use that every day?  And then later install CS3 Master Suite WITHOUT Photoshop?  Or do I have any reason to install them in order, i.e. CS3 Master Suite WITHOUT Photoshop and then CS5?

    I assume your Photoshop CS5 is the full retail standalone version?
    I see no reason why you cannot install Photoshop CS5 then Master Suite CS3 (and uncheck the Photoshop CS3 option when you tell the installer what to install).

    Hi Bob thanks for your time. I have creative suite 5.I bought it with my student discount. I have the discs and even the number needed to validate that number but cant find the serial number.
    The programme was working fine on my old pc but I need a human to contact to  prove that I actually own it. There use to be a call centre that would validate this for me but it appears to have gone by the wayside.
    Do you know of a phone number that can help?

  • Adobe updater mac version fails when opening Master Suite CS3 products after reinstall from drive crash

    When I open a CS3 Adobe Product I get a screen that says "Adobe Updater Failed". I reinstalled the suite after a hard disk failure and re-registered the product. I'm sure that there are many updates since this suite came out many years ago, and I want to update to the latest versions.

    I have since downloaded a new version of Adobe Updater 5, but now when i launch, the the error screen: "Check your internet connections, Updater cannot connect to the web [paraphrased]", shows up. Of course the internet connection is there for safari, firefox and chrome.

  • My computer crashed during install of Master Suite. Do I need to uninstall before reinstall?

    Master Suite now shows as a registered product under my Adobe account.  Part of suite was installed. Could I just start another install without unistalling what I now have, or is best practice to first uninstall?

    RayJayCarl you can start the installer again to install the remaining components.  You won't even have to enter your serial number again as your software is already licensed!

    Finally   I Was able to get CS3 Master suite installed . all of it.
    by just doing it one  to two programs at a time. ( or a complete suite) which worked perfectly.
    after months of playing around with this program which was poorly designed as a suite for total installation.
    the installer always would hang up, or if it did complete it would install a shell of the program but not the program.
    so one day i decided to go into the cs3 setup folder and unchecked all the boxes and just installed one at a time. if they were the same suite i would jus do the complete suite.  and this process worked perfectly.
    the licensing went off with out a hitch as each program asks for the license which is called for at the beginig of installation. so far each component works perfectly..
    I just wish Adobe would get its developers together and design an install program that will install with out problems. just like i hear the business one does.

    choose: browse DVD content
    choose: in the right panel choose: adobe cs3  (file folder)
    in right panel choose setup.exe.
    You will see initializing adobe cs3...
    next popup will be"Manage Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection Installer: System Check"
    from this point it will check any adobe products on your system and show you its status,
    *now a box will pop up : choose install \ reinstall.  or remove components.
    Choose install \ reinstall
    another window will popup with check boxes already checked  just uncheck all and chen check one or two at a time ( experiment a little here)
    and install in groups of two or three, or as a single app.
    upon each install ( groups or single) you will be asked to restart, and do so.
    again you wil have to navigate to the folder as before, but this time
    by the time i finished this over a three day period i had all suites installed. ( dreamweaver had already been installed with no problems) and registered most so far. still have a few more registrations to go..
    good luck and you can email me if any questions as i have spent a lot of hours as most have installing, uninstalling, cleaning up and over again.

  • No Photoshop extended in CS6 Master suite

    Hi,
    I've been scanning the internet for any help on this matter to no avail. I bought a copy of CS6 Design Standard a while ago and have now bought a copy of CS6 Master Suite, as I wanted the extended version of Photoshop as well as After Effects etc... I uninstalled my previous CS6 (standard) and reinstalled CS6 (master). The problem is, I'm not getting any 3D options in Photoshop, which should be included if it's the extended version. I've typed out some text that I wanted to be 3D & the 3D button at the top is missing. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I've looked at every tutorial that I can find, but none explain why I would be missing the 3D options in Photoshop (extended).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Uninstalling is not necessarily going to deactivate the software from using your old serial number.
    It might be as simple as going into the Help menu, chosing Deactivate..., then closing everything down, restarting Photoshop, and entering your new serial number.
    The Standard and Extended software is one and the same, it only runs differently depending on the serial number entered.

  • Problems Installing CS5 Master Suite

    I'm having trouble installing my master suite on my mac. I bought discs for the suite. The first installation disc works great and then it propmts me to insert the second disc. This second disc works well until around 25% completion when the installation just stops and I get either error code:

    Hi,
    If you get any exit code 6 or 7 in mac, it is very easy to resolve.
    Just change the location of installation. For eg. try to installation out side application folder or create a new folder in Application.
    It should be like Application\Adobenew.
    It should work.
    You can also try to create a new administrator account for installation. It is just for the installation.
    Once it installs, you can try to work with your normal user account.

  • Master suite won't open

    I cancelled my CC subscription last month and purchased the education edition of Master Suite. It worked fine until this morning. Now i'm getting prompts from CC to renew my subscription. Online chat help sent me a link for a CC cleaner, which I used to uninstall the CC apps. Then I reinstalled the Master Suite, but still can't access. Still getting the "renew subscription" prompt. Can anyone help with this?

    Also, the wait time for online chat is extensive now and won't let me back in the queue. I guess I'm not the only one with an adobe problem today. Glitch time?

  • Unable to uninstall CS4 Master Suite

    I began having problems exporting from Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Encore,  After receiving a number of error messages I attempted to reload CS4 Master Suite.  The system would not allow me to reinstall CS4 Master Suite so I attempted to uninstall the suite.  I received messages telling me that they were unable to uninstall each of the programs howver, now I cannot access any of the CS4 Master Suite programs on my computer - they will not open.  I cannot uninstall CS4 Master Suite, I cannot install CS4 Master Suite, and I cannot use any programs in CS4 Master Suite.

    I did - seems to have removed the CS4 - but I still cannot reinstall the program?
