I can't reinstall photoshop and lightroom and creative cloud after having to do a system restore on my laptop. How do I reinstall these programs?

After I installed lightroom 5 and photoshop cc I had to do a system restore. The CC application shows both are installed but photoshop CC is not anymore and I can't reinstall it because the app show it already is. How do I reset the CC app so I can do a clean install of Photoshop CC?

Have to reinstall Flash after every reboot.

Windows 7 - IE9 - Flash version 11.0.1.152 - Plugins and OS up to date - ESET Smart Securty 4
I get prompted to install new version of Flash after a reboot, so it happens at least once a day.
I install Flash and it installs just fine and works until the PC boots up again.
I tried some of the following:
- Use Adobe Flash Uninstall program before installing
- Using standalone install program
- Checked ActiveX Filter and it was off...turning it on causes
   this same behavior, but the problem I have has nothing to do with the filter
Not sure when this started, but the user didn't have this problem until recently.
I am using ESET Smart Security 4. On all our systems, and his PC is the only
one that is having a problem. Need some pretty hard evidence before I bother
with uninstalling ESET just to see if that would help.
The part that is really strange...if I go to manage add-on's while it is working,
I see the Flash player there and Adobe's name there and that it is enabled.
After I reboot and go into the add-on manager, Flash is still there and still
enabled, but it now says "Unknown" instead of "Adobe" and is no longer
listed near the other Adobe programs. But then, when I reinstall it, that gets
"fixed" and now says Adobe again. So it almost seems like an IE9 problem
and possibly a corruption problem. No known problems with the PC. I suppose
that reloading the PC from scratch would fix the problem...at least I hope it would,
but I'm also not ready to do major surgery if there is an easier fix.

I also downloaded that Nirsoft tool, and on my (64-bit) system I also only see the ocx and exe registered. But everything works well on my system. So I currently have no other ideas. Hopefully someone from the Adobe team will have a look at this topic.

Help needed - Can't access OneKey Recovery restoration option after system reboot,

I run OneKey Recovery, after I choose "recovery", and system reboot.....system automatically log in Windows 7 again, rather than access OneKey Recovery restoration option.
I am using G570 and OneKey Recovery version is 7. this issue never happened before, it always reboot to OneKey Recovery restoration before....please help. Thanks

You shouldn't need Command + R since the Option key will present you with the Recovery boot volume. Seems something is amiss there, I'm willing to bet you may have been using a wireless keyboard.

Workgroup setting won't stay after system reboot

Even though this issue was reported in 10.7, the issue still remains in 10.8.
Background:
I have a home network consisting of a iMac (2011) and two Windows 7 PCS connected to a Netgear Gigabit switch. I on occasion transfer files to and from my Mac and my Windows PCs.
Pre OSX Lion, This situation worked fine. But since Lion and now Mountain Lion I am no longer able to copy files to my Mac from my Windows Pcs. Copying files from my Mac to my Windows Pcs work fine. In troubleshooting this issue, I found out in the Network system preference option after selecting ethernet and then the advanced button, then clicking on the Wins tab, that the Netbois and Workgroup fields are blank. After providing a Netbois name and the workgroup name the same as the Windows Pcs, then selecting the OK button generally works. Sometimes I have to go in multiple times before it takes the information but once it does everything works as it suppose until I reboot or shutdown and startup. If I do either when I go back into the Network in the System Preferences the fields are blank again.
I've followed some of the suggestions from the other support documents but they did not work for me:
1. Deleting the com.apple.systemperference.plist file and .lockfile
2. Create a duplicate ethernet service add the necessary changes then make that ethernet service the active one after disabling the original one.
None of these worked. I submitted on Apple Feedback this issue when I was still running OSX 10.7.2 but it never was fixed and now Mountain Lion behaves the same way. I will be submitting once again in hopes someone at Apple pays attention.
It seems this issue has to do with the Apple inhouse developed SMB share implementation. When they was using the SAMBA software I had no issues.
I even did a clean install of Mountain Lion to make sure the problem would not be transferred from Lion. Didn't make a difference.
Any help would be appreciated.

That work around is great. A lot easier that typing in the info repeated before it takes just to have to do it again after the next reboot. If anyone has access to the Apple Bug Reporter, please add this bug for all of our sakes.
Two things.
1. After the initial ML install, the word workgroup was in the workgroup field. And that did not disappear after each reboot. Only when changing it to something else is when the problem manifests.
2. I wonder if the Macbook Air and The new Retina Macbook Pro has this same issue being that they too come with SSD styled storage. If anyone have these macs please reply with your findings.

Can't reinstall Photoshop after uninstall

Trying to get to the bottom of what might be a software bug, I uninstalled Photoshop CS6, intending to reinstall it right away through the Cloud subscription. But now when I try to download it, the Download window opens, but the software is not downloading. It shows Photoshop CS6 as "Up to Date," even though I no longer have the application.
How do I reinstall Photoshop CS6?

concerning your "reinstall it right away through the Cloud subscription": Did you really use "Cloud Cleaner Tool". (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!) Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.

After Effects CS5.5 Error Rendering known clean project even after Reinstall and after System Restore

I've been getting frequent, but not consistent, errors during rendering AE CS5.5 projects with lots of 3D layers and lights. I have gone back to a known clean project to confirm the issue isn't with a particular project. The error is usually an error invoking the advanced 3D render engine. This is sometimes followed by a bad tracked memory id popup. But sometimes the program just hangs up.
My System:

24GB RAM
Windows 7 professional 64 bit SP1
NVidia Geforce GTX 570
I have trashed the preferences, cleaned the cache, turned off rendering multiple frames, deleted Open GL, updated the graphics card drivers and even tried reverting to old graphics card drivers. Window's Memory Diagnostic Tool didn't find any problems. System File Checker Tool didn't find any corrupt files. My system drive is not fragmented. I have reinstalled AE, reinstalled all of CS5.5, and did a system restore to a known working point (both with and without doing the Windows updates that have occurred since the restore point). None of this fixed the problem.
I have tried the script BG Renderer to render in the background. I have consistently gotten the following error running the script, which I'm hoping will be a clue:
"aerender ERROR An existing connection was forcible closed by the remote host.
:Unable to receive at line 314
aerender ERROR: After Effects can not render for aerender. Another instance of aerender, or another script, may be running; or, AE may be waiting for a response from a modal dialog, or for a render to complete. Try running aerender without the - reuse flag to invoke a separate instance of After Effects."
The first two times I tried to render with BG Renderer, the error came right after closing AE. But I still got the same error if I left AE open and just sat and watched.
Any help is appreciated.

Update: I believe I have discovered the problem! It was a bad RAM stick. Windows Memory Diagnostic tool found nothing wrong, and nothing in my system seemed to be effected other than the ability to render complex AE projects with 3D layers. After a complete system restore to a known working point failed to help, I opened up the machine. Finding nothing loose, I methodically tested all the memory sticks to find the culprit. Everything is running smoothly now, albeit on less RAM.

MS-SQL Template is getting assigned automatically after System Reboot.

Greetings, We have currently unassigned templates for MS-SQL Servers in Solution Manager Technical Monitoring for all technical systems as we don't want to monitor the DB Alerts. However, What we see is that after every OS reboot or DB Connectivity failure, for few technical systems the MS-SQL template is getting assigned automatically. If not assigned, it will start referring to SAP original template for metrics. I was unable to find any SAP note to fix this issue. Is there anything we could do to stop this? I tested and noticed that the following registry key will be changed when modify paging file size:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
value name:PagingFiles
Please change the paging file size again and check if the key is edited correctly. Reboot and see if the value is changed back to empty.
If issue still exists, please let us know if there is any third party app installed on server such as antivirus program, disk management program etc. I saw similar issues caused by third party application.

Do i have to reinstall photoshop, after install the new os x mavericks?

I'm currently using Mountain Lion. If I upgrade to the new Mavericks, do I have to reinstall programs like Adobe softwares and Microsoft Offices? Cause I'm currenly using a lot of software on my MacBook, like Photoshop and SketchUp. It will be a hassle if I have reinstall all these software again.

I see no need to deactivate Adobe apps before upgrading ML -> Mavericks, then reactivate. I don't seem to have any trouble running either Acrobat Pro 10 or Photoshop Cs 5.1 in Mavericks after the upgrade-- without the deactivate/reactivate steps.

Continue impdp after system rebooted

i'm trying to import a database on a local system. i need to do it on a normal system because i have no servers available and i only have to do some "tests".
it started the import with this command:
impdp SYSTEM/****** directory=impdp dumpfile=ccrexpdp.dmp logfile=implog.log full=y
Windows was so friendly to do a reboot because of updates. thanks microsoft.
is there a poosibility to continue the import? it is not possible to restart it with the same command :(
i also tried to find something via the search but i wasnt successful.
can you help me?

Can't start emctl after system reboot

I installed 11g on Redhat E 5 last week. After instellation i use sqlplus and dbcounsole It work fine.

Can you please send us the status of the following commands
ps -efd | grep oracle
emctl status dbconsole
Please note also
Ensure that you start your services in the proper order:
- establish IP address on the active node
- start the TNS listener
- start the database
- start dbconsole
- test functionality
In case of failure…
- Establish IP on failover box
- start TNS listener lsnrctl start
- start the database dbstart
- start dbconsole emctl start dbconsole
- test functionality
If you want to manually stop or shutdown a service:
Stop the application
Stop DB Control emctl stop dbconsole
Stop TNS listener lsnrctl stop
Stop DB dbshut
Stop IP
We have to reconfigure the dbconsole, depending on the results of the commands.
Note: For subsequent database / DBConsole installs requiring different hostnames than the physical hostname, simply set ORACLE_HOSTNAME variable to the new virtual hostname and run emca.
There is no need to re-install the RDBMS server using the new hostname value for DBConsoles running from the same ORACLE_HOME but using different virtual hostnames for different SID values.
If you would like to prevent the dbconsole from listening on all NICs of the cluster member based on the hostname and SID example in this Note, you can add host="lxdb.acme.com" in the web-site tag of http-web-site.xml present in ORACLE_HOME/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_lxdb.acme.com_DBC/config directory.

Reinstalling photoshop after laptop stolen

I had a version of photoshop on a pc but then it was stolen. I now have a mac. Can I reinstall my version onto a mac? Or what do you advise?

Hello, dear mac users. After my last time machine backup, I have updated two firmwares. My question is: if in the future I go through a "erase and install" procedure, do I have to reinstall these firmware updates again?

Server File shares stop working after system reboot (10.10 / 4.0.3)

I have a mac mini running OS X Server 4.0.3. I use it as a file server on my local network and remotely for when I'm at the office, it backups my and my wife's systems and I use the VPN for when I’m in places in the world where certain networks are blocked. It all worked like a charm back on 10.9 but now on 10.10 things get a little frustrating.
I did a clean install of Yosemite 10.10 and Server 4.0.3. Setup access over internet (server.mydomain.com, local ip bound to its dns). DNS in Server running. Setup Open Directory with a few network users. Created shares for different folders on a thunderbolt disk and all was good using files from both my local network as from my office. Did a reboot of the Server and now when I try to connect (using ‘connect to Server’) the list of shares pops up but when I select a folder it gives me ‘There was a problem connecting to the server “server.mydomain.com”. Check if the server name or IP address, and then try to again. If you continue…’. I have no clue what to do since nothing has changed from a name or IP perspective. Side note: in Yosemite I could only connect to the server using ‘connect to server’ never from the sidebar which worked in my previous Mavericks setup. I removed / deinstalled Server 4.0.3 and did a clean setup of server, got everything working, reboot > broken.
I hope you can shed some light on this situation and help me get it up and running again.

Edit: VPN, TimeMachine and VNC are all working like they should.

In the AFP access log it shows a login with immediate logout and error -5023 0 0. (No AFPLogin call has successfully been made for this session)..

Solaris 11 Express - nsswitch.conf settings lost after system reboot

I have made the follow changes to my /etc/nsswitch.conf file below. everything work good until i reboot the system, i look in the nsswitch.conf file and see that the setting are back to default. What am i doing wrong?
