Reinstalling PS Elements 6 from disc

I found that PS Elements 8 will not run on my computer and I'm trying to reinstall Elements 6 from a disc that I purchased. Installation appears to start and then I am asked to insert Disc 1. I only have one disc. If I reinsert disc it still doesn't work. Any help please?
Anyone in the market for PS Elements and Premiere Elements 8?

Trying to reinstall Acrobat Pro X from disc onto win 8.1 system. (Previous installation got corrupted) Continually getting message ‘Acrobat has detected another process which has not yet completed…’. Have now closed system both cold (full shutdown) and warm (restart) over 10 times. Every time I go to reinstall I get message.

I would run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html and delete any Acrobat folders that have been created, then try again. Be sure to log in as the administrator and disable anti-virus when you have problems like this.

What do I have to do to correct Shared Technologies errors when attempting to re-install Elements 10 from disc?

Please try renaming OOBE from this Location:
Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Mac:
Library/Application Support/Adobe
Once done please try installing Elements 10 and it should work.

Installation.Elements 13 from disc. Windows 8.1

I get a pop up saying no disc in Drive E which then crashes the program. Putting a disc in makes no difference. Norton finds no problem after scans of the programs.
Premiere 11 works on this system as does Photoshop 13 so I am now having to use Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop Elements 13.
I know some programs have had bugs with Windows 8.1 which they didn't with Windows 8.

Thanks for the reply and glad the suggested fix got rid of the Premiere Elements 13 No Disc error for you.
This is not Adobe, rather user to user. So, we have no insider information on how Adobe will move to correct this issue
beyond Adobe PRE_help posting the suggested fix in a recent thread here. But, I get the impression that Adobe PRE_help
is still evaluating the possibilities of more than one cause for the No Disc error in Premiere Elements 13. To date, all the
reports in this forum point just to the OldFilm.AEX. Interesting, I have Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 7 and 8.1 64 bit
and have not been hit with the No Disc message (from September 24, 2014 to today January 15, 2015.

How do I reinstall Photoshop Elements 11 from a purchased disk?

I am having problems reinstalling Photoshop Elements 11. I keep getting Error 1303,. I have no idea what it means and how to go about it. I have been using the purchased disk.
I have Photoshop Elements 10 installed and have no problems with it. I an using Windows 7. Please help. Just cannot seem to get it going and need it very much. I would appreciate any help I could get.

Problems downloading elements 13 from disc...?

I only want to use the editor...it appears the organizer is there but I am unable access the editor through lightroom 4.
When I go to lightroom and try to edit in elements...the application symbol shows up on the bottom of the screen bounces around but won't open up...wth? I am very frustated as I have tried this...and that for many hours....I have no idea what to do next but to ask for help.
Do I have to put my pics into the organizer??? I don't want to do that....I am using lightroom 4. According to books I've read you can easy peasie go from the light room development to elements editor and then back...thats what I want to do....I am not sure the editor is on my mac but it appears the organizer is...I have had a hell of a time getting it to download....maybe it isn't on there now....
I bought the software through amazon...I have a serial number...when I first started upload I was unable to read some text...so I just clicked on some things....I downloaded the trial version before but thought I uninstalled it....I have tried to install from the disc...thought I installed it and tried again...I never saw when to click I agree or where to put in my serial number...I looked at the disc and just a sliver of silver around the edge is gone....

ok more info...I just opened one photo in elements 13....I wanted to see what was there as far as the editor...here is the screen shot...I was unable to get
to the full editor only the basic stuff opened up...when I tried to open up the editor it just kept buffering....I would have added this to my original question but was unable to figure out how to do that....

Reinstalling Photoshop Elements 11 from the beginning

I am using Photoshop Elements 11 Organiser and the system has become so corrupted that I want to start again from the very beginning. I have all of my photographs on memory sticks so I am not concerned about deleting photographs by mistake. I want to start again from scratch and with a clear Organiser.
In an effort to delete all of the Folders I tried deleateing Photoshop Elements and then reinstalling it but when I looked at the Folders after reinstalling the program, they were there exactly the same as they were before I deleated the Program. I want to clear out all of the folders from the Organiser and then start again.
I would appreciate your assistance in clearing the Folders and allowing me to start again from the beginning.

Cannot load Premier Elements 10 from disc to MacBook?

I purchased a combo package of Photoshop Elements and Premiere at Costco a few years back. Tried to load this on Apple MacBook Air this morning. Successfully loaded Photoshop.
Tried three times for Premiere Elements and it failed half way through? Am using latest IOS version Mavericks on MacBook Air
Was provided with error note and advisement.
Spent a lot of time trying to access online help to no avail....

We purchased Adobe photoshop Elements 10. It has 3 discs. All are
labelled 'Adobe photoshop Elements 10' disc 1 of 3, 2 of 3 and 3 of 3. At
the end of loading disc 1 it told me to load disc 2. No discs are labelled
as "premiere". Disc 2 instructs "start with disc 1".
We do not understand.
Would Adobe package 3 discs in the box, label them "elements 10"?

I just installed photoshop elements 13 from disc. I launched it and started to import photos from my iPhoto. Its twice stopped at 8099 out of 9309 files. No photos are visible. How do i proceed?

It appears you may be experiencing difficulty with the .Net framework installed on your computer. I would recommend try restarting your computer and try the installation again.
