Rejected from Up To Date Mountain Lion

Hi my name is James, I recently purchased the brand new Macbook Air (June 27th, 2012) from the Apple online store and requested the up to date upgrade for Mountain Lion but was rejected when i sent my invoice, so i resent it the second time with the invoice and the email confirmation but was rejected again.
First attempt I read online most people had theirs within hours of sending the request, i received my declined email after 4 hours with a link to resend the proof.
To make sure i was sending the right details I checked this link

then resent my second attempt, after the second rejection i was given an email. ([email protected])

Receipt was not provided
Receipt is missing purchase date
Date of purchase is outside of the offer

Receipt does not show purchase of a qualifying product
Offer is exclusively for end users. Resellers are not eligible
Order was not received within 30 days of purchase
Duplicate Order
Purchases must be through an authorized reseller
Proof of purchase is illegible for qualifying product
Offer is limited to 1 upgrade per qualifying system
Proof of purchase is illegible for both purchase date and or qualifying product
Proof of purchase is illegible
Receipt does not indicate product was paid for and received
Receipt is missing part number
Im not to sure why it says "offer has expired" am i only allowed two attempts then the offer is declined? Sorry im a little confused by that.
I emailed [email protected] with;
- Paragraph explaining the situation
- Picture of the invoice (clearly showing Purchase date, Price Paid, and Payment Method)
- Email confirmation of purchase
- Serial Number on the back of the box
- Shippment box with serial and my address
- Picture of my Macbook air
Its been over 3 days and i havnt heard a response from the email yet. I thought id wait the 72 hours as most people in the forums have been suggesting to wait 72 hours for your keys.
Ive called into customer support twice already and was greeded with exceptionally polite people but was informed they had no power to do anything but provide me with the same email "[email protected]" to get this situation resolved.
Right now im just thinking if i should pay the $20 or hold out because of the hours spent furstrated trying to fix this. I recieved the laptop as a gift for my parents, being a poor student right now working to pay for my textbooks and courses. Paying for the upgrade would leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

The second bullet point states:
"To receive your OS X Mountain Lion upgrade, you must complete the order form and provide an electronic copy of a dated, itemized sales receipt indicating the marketing part number(s) of the qualifying product(s) purchased. Order acknowledgments, packing slips, and purchase order copies are not valid."

You may be giving them a copy of the wrong receipt.
Call them to find out exactly what they want you to send them.
